"Standing while I still can."
Physical DescriptionA rough looking blond who stands at around six feet even, he has blue eyes and appears to be of average build. The charming young man is usually adorned in equipment provided by PubSec - when he isn't wearing his gear he's in casual clothes. Mostly sweat pants and a wife beater, his uniform - when he is in it. Usually is sloppy, while very rare to see it crisp and clean. Due to lax standards and personal neglect, his uniform has seen better days. Besides that, on occasion, Zach will grow out facial hair but as of recent he's staved off the need to.
PsycheWhile to his colleagues he may appear to be joking, as Zach tends to make frequent jokes about the situation or in general to make light of a situation. When in the presence of those of higher authority, or in the presence of citizens, criminals, and others he'll be more serious, cynical and perhaps rude. Zach hates authority and resents his superiors, he feels more at home being a ground officer than sitting at a desk. Zach hasn't seen love and tends to distance himself from others who would try to court the young suave man, the only person Zach has become good friends with is Biff Hellcat.
MotivationAssigned to the team due to his investigative prowess, recently under fire for alleged fraud.
Trying to become a better detective and to save his ass from jail, Zach hopes to come out on top of this investigation to impress his superiors and to exonerate himself.
Relations Personal HistoryA middle class, average looking and a knack for pissing people off. That would be Zach Nato, born in the suburbs outside of Detroit in Dearborn the young man found himself in trouble with the law often as he would hang around with the wrong group of young men. He eventually found himself getting into deeper trouble when he started peddling drugs and joining up with a booster gang in his early teens, however after he was charged the judge entered him into a diversion program which Nato rode out until he was seventeen. It would be when he graduated high school when he applied to join U.S. Army as an infantrymen.
It was when he got out he picked up a job as a patrolman for the Detroit Police Department, corporate policing had become the norm since 9/11 and they were looking for able bodies. While his questionable past had come up in the initial interview, Zach was considered to be a low risk and due to his previous service that only seemed to amplify the statement made. He was hired on and spent four years walking the beat until he was promoted to Detective and took up residence in the Fraud Unit.
Up until recently, things had been fine until Zach was accused of ironically - fraud. Insurance fraud, Zach had been in enough cases to know how to pull it out. Yet, as all the information was coming out and IA was starting its investigation into Zach, he was pulled out - by the Mayor's office. For reasons unknown, he found himself working for the new investigation team. This would be the beginning of something terrible.
