"Andreim dear, are you OK? You don't seem well. You look like you saw a ghost!" Katherine had said to him.

"I've saw your face. Close enough." Andreim replied to her in a calm but somewhat defensive way, he was not going to let her drive over him in Lise's vicinity.

"Tsk, tsk tsk, Maybe you should just accept that you aren't the competent apex predator your heat vision makes you think you are. If such an oblivious prey could get the best of you, maybe it's time to- Watch out!"

"Pay attention!" Andreim yelled out to Katherine as the feline predator charged towards them, he reacted instinctively and knew that he had to prevent this thing from getting close to him and the others.

Though he couldn't fight it as he would have prefered to do. There was not enough space for him to move as he wanted, Lise was here and he had to make sure it did not get to her. So he couldn't move. At the same time he had to make sure his team was not compromised. Activating his heat vision was a thing he often did out of reflex. Using it he could see where Cyan was, while the foxboy was invisible to the naked eye. The creature could surely scent him and possibly run him over and close to him were Katherine.

Using his right hand to call forth a jet stream of water to fly out and bend midair to try knock the invisible Cyan to the other side of the room, away from the feline beast charging onwards. But not only that but to provide a tool for Katherine to use. She could use her heat powers on his water to create steam if she desired to, to provide cover for her and those near her. On the other hand if the beast would run through the stream he could trap it in ice.

He could not hold the stream forever though and he held his left hand at the ready to stop the feline would it not go into the jet of stream or come straight for him and Lise.

Having remained silent for most of the time, he had followed Clara. To make certain she would not botch this one up. He had faith in her abilities, but her way of approach was different from his own. Nontheless she was the de facto leader of the group according to him. For now at least. If this mission would fail he would have to take matters into his own hands.

"Let's hope you are right. Clara. I shall play my part then..." Vittorio nodded in his astral form to the girl as she did her summoning, before he made his way up to the second floor before she did. Having grown arrogant and eager, Vittorio wanted to put his powers finally to use. Having been forced to watch from the sidelines long enough and mastering his powers, bent on using them for vengeance. Justice as he called it.

He floated around one corner to another and made his way quietly along one of the corridors of the second floor. If there were any ghosts in the building, he was not worried the slightest. He were kind of like one himself and the memory of his dear ones in mind he had his own ghosts and nightmares following him. Making him into the real haunted spirit in this place.

While not bearing any ill intent towards any of the St.Laurel students, he needed to subdue them in order to get to Alto. Perhaps he could find Katherine and convince her to join them? Her sister were after all part of the group he was now with. She still had a family and a chance to be happy. He would have to remind her of what was at stake. In the worst case he would have to take her or any of the others as a captive. He was already beyond the point where he could be saved. He did not want to be saved. He wanted to die. To be with those dear to him. But facing them without having been able to avenge them did not appeal to him the slightest.

"Let me walk in, through this den of sin..."

His astral form began to hymn and softly sing on a song. "...you're now at heavens door when I need you more, you were my ones in a lifetime..." He continued along the corridor, manifestations of his past showing themselves along the way.

Those whom had passed away. His parents. His friends and the love he never got to confess to. The manifestations began to fade away as quickly as they had appeared as he passed them by. Their friendly smiling faces. He stopped before the last one. The memory of Charlotte. How she tilted her head and gave him a smile with her eyes closed, before she faded away. As he reached his hand out to touch her image.

"Giving you my soul, letting you control. Take away this part of my lifetime. Memories of you, left me black and blue... I am glad to have known you in my lifetime..."

Andreim

Andreim listened to every words uttered through Lise's mouth, making sure to memorize what she was saying. It was part of getting to know her better. She even acknowledged that he was capable. That also meant she was being perceptive, he was pleasantly surprised by that fact. He needed to be perceptive aswell, for both of their sakes.

"I am sure that modern clothes are easier to wear indeed, I'll take your word for it. I have never worn clothes similar to those kind you wear... or skirts for that matter."

After their talk about clothing, Lise had decided to take the lead and display her own powers. He had not seen them up close like this before. He knew about her power though, as he had done his research on the young lady. She was confident and slightly full of it though. Her powers were great, but compared to his own... he was certain she would fall abit short. Which was fitting as he was going to be protecting her, he wouldn't want her to do what Samoth had so arrogantly uttered before they entered.

He took this moment however to watch Lise carefully, memorizing her actions. Would someone attempt to deceive him later on he would know about it. Shapeshifters, mindleechers and overall illusionistic people were not uncommon to be around. Being able to tell what is real and what is not is a good thing. The shadows which Lise commanded were however a relief to him. That meant she was at least able to call on some help if the need arose.

"Lady Valois-Saint-Remy, I think the imps, like the wicked spawns they are fled before the voice of an angel. It is natural for the dark to part before the light, or as you have done, taken control of the dark to obey your command."

It was true, in more ways than one. She too had drawn him in. Like a sweet poison.

Andreim followed her still as they made their way forwards, clearing the rooms, he activated his thermal vision for a moment to peek around for any hostiles his normal sight could not detect. Feeling abit more comfortable in her presence, he was now being able to properly think and talk to some degree without having a loose tongue or making a fool of himself. Ahead of them both were the other four St.Laurel students waiting.

"There is at least half a beast there." His eyes darted to Cyan's tail as he gave a slight shrug with a somewhat amused smirk on his lips.

"I take it all went smoothly?" He addressed the four which had awaited their arrival.
Andreim

He was expecting her to label him a pervert or toss something at him. But it never happened, she was actually asking him if he truly thought it was a nice skirt. Andreim was no expert at skirts, but that one suited her well. She had a different clothing taste than most people, though he was certain no matter what she actually would wear she would still look good.

"Yes, I think it looks- stunning..." He said as he was following her spin with his both eyes, seeing how the skirt lifted slightly as she spun around he swallowed. "Uh.. you are not like any of the other girls though, Lady Valois-Saint-Remy. You are truly a beacon."

A magnificent beacon which has drawn me to you, no matter if you had a long or short skirt. He thought to himself as he watched her smile and politely offered one of his own.

He took a brief moment to think of her words. "How short is too short anyhow? Having servants dressing you usually huh?"

He spoke out loud not thinking of what he was actually saying as he loudly pondered. He briefly visualized Lise getting dressed and quickly began to shake his head as he was getting lost in thought. "Ahh? Erhm. Oh nevermind!" He offered a soft bow to Lise.

Andreim

He had taken the front... off the two that is. He was constantly looking about to make sure nothing would sneak up on them. Activating his thermal vision for a brief moment Before turning it off. He wanted to say something to her, but what would he say? They were alone in a old building which she likely found creepy and horrible. Not the best romantic situation.

Then it happened. She spoke to him. Not only that she addressed him by first name and gave a smile that sent shivers down his spine. Good shivers.

"U-understood!" Andreim opened the door and then stepped inside swiftly, spotting four imps in the room as he entered and they saw him aswell.

I will not let these things harm her. I definitely will not.

He began to manifest his water powers around his feet quickly, it began to take the form of a swirling vortex under his feet and gather a smaller one in his hand. From the smaller one he would let go of several spinning slices, the size of large pankakes which spun towards two of the imps, using his free hand he altered the temperature of the area around the two saw-blade like projectiles which then turned into ice and sliced their way through the imps. One fell to the ground in two and the other had half of it's form nailed to the wall. The remaining two imps made their way towards him and got up close. "Goodbye."

Andreim raised the water from his feet up to the ceiling, catching the two imps approaching in the water, before he turned it into ice aswell. Creating a wall of ice with the imps frozen inside of it Before him. "Not very imp...ressive."

He ceased using his water and cold Powers, looking at the imps sealed into the ice Before placing his hands against the ice and attuned to heat in a cone before him, causing the wall to crumble into pieces along with the imps inside of it.

"I'll protect you-" He began to say in a hushed voice, realizing soon after he said it out loud. "Ah.. uh.. I mean it's the natural thing to do." Damn. She was partly making him lose concentration. She was dangerous to have around him right now, he couldn't get her out of his head.

He pondered for a moment. He had to say something to lead attention away from him and back to herself. What to do? He could say something about her nice Eyes but it would seem like such a cliché. No he had to refrain from complimenting her undeniable beauty and more compliment her good judgement and chosing.

"You have a nice skirt." He said in a cool and calculated manner, with a soft smile on his lips with his eyes closed briefly. What did I just say? You idiot! She's going to think you are looking at her legs or worse. He was screaming in his head and then opened his eyes to look at her reaction. With a slight blush on his face which he couldn't feel himself but he did feel dumb.

It was so uncharacteristic of him. He wasn't like this with anyone else around, but this girl was throwing him off his feet and making his brain do cartwheels. What did she have that he admired so much? What was it? He wanted to know. Why had she wounded him so greatly.
Andreim

The punch Katherine gave his shoulder caught him abit offguard. In combat he was usually well prepared against any incoming attacks but outside of it he was not as ready or fast. He couldn't possibly go around and be prepared all the time it would wear on him by a great degree.

What? Teasing her in the wrong way? What's the right way? Is she actually...

She is hitting on me. She is actually having perverted thoughts about me. It's not that she is not attractive or anything. But she is trying to play me.

Andreim activated his thermal sight and looked Katherine over. Making it obvious he was indeed looking her over. She flung his own words back at him. What a detestable girl! But she was hot indeed. Her powers could literally melt a guy who did not pay attention.

Then came the question. Did she actually have a skirt at all under that jacket of hers. She seemed like a pervert. But in order to confirm it he would have to tread into that territory himself. Damn. Perhaps he would find out later. Maybe make her embarassed. Would be amusing if nothing else. He hated to admit it but teasing her was fun.

"I do not get burnt ever..." It was a lie. Lise had sparked a burning searing in his heart and not even his elemental attunements could stop it.

"Tch.." He merely let out hearing Samoth's words. It was a cunning use of words. If he replied that he was stronger that Lise, it would lessen Lise's powers and make her dissapprove of him, if he agreed with him though he would present himself as a inferior choice.

Andreim knew Samoth was one of those people who could cause a problem for him. Inside and outside fighting. But he had in the same go said it was a good plan and taken that annoying foxboy out of the equation.

"Don't underestimate me, Samoth." It was a warning. One which needed to be tossed out there.

"Yes, Lady Valois-Saint-Remy." He made a salute with his white gloved hand. It was in order to protect others from himself and the things he touched from being affected by his poison. Even if just skin contact caused some irritation. Andreim stepped forwards acting as if he was a bodyguard to a celebrity. Which wasn't far off.

Then his stride was stopped by Cassius who asked if they could take the south section. First Andreim blinked at that and thus threw a look to Lise before averting his eyes down abit where he was trying to escape her eyes and instead came to look at her skirt which left him frozen for a moment before he turned his face away.

"Y-yes, you can leave the south section to us two. We are more than capable of dealing with this." He said confidently. He was after all confident in his own abilities. "Don't get Cassius into trouble now, Katherine."
He strode forth every now and then waiting for Lise to catch up with him. He was surveying the area, flicking his thermal vision on and off.

They were agreeing with him. Christine, Bak and Gilliam. They thought his plan was good. He was abit surprised to see they were up for it and for a moment he forgot that most of them where in fact monsters themselves. But they were on his side for this. He would have continued along with the plan had not Clara stepped in.

She was getting in the way for his revenge. Perhaps she had seen something they had missed? He decided to hear her out for now. If she was just wasting his time then he would have to move off on his own with the others. Vittorio didn't care about being noticed or even caught. What was important however was that vengeance was taken. The faces of his dead dear ones came to him in his dreams almost every night. He found himself in the same helpless scenario he had been in years past.

Where he could do nothing but watch that monster kill them. Over and over. Just because they were close with that boy. Alto. If he didn't exist they would still be alive. If he had not encouraged them they would not have been targetted.

"How about we could obtain something belonging to the Vigilantes and lure them unto the St.Laurel grounds? Gilliam, you could infiltrate their lot, under the guise of one of the St.Laurel students, a drop off to try join them and then take something important of theirs before leaving. Let them give chase."
He paused briefly looking to left and right.

"You could lead the vigilantes to Alto and in the same go capture him no? Under the guise of one of the Vigilante's ofcourse. It would put them on the scene and Alto in our hands. That way the St.Laurel school would turn their attention to these vigilantes. Giving us the cover we need. Aswell as giving you backup to beat him if you cannot do it alone. The vigilantes would see Alto fighting one of their own and would assume you just gave chase after the thief."

The best approach would probably involve using Gilliam to lure Alto away to a location where they could finish him off. A place without witnesses where he would ask him one question. Who was that monster? Alto must know who it was.

"What do you have in mind then, Clara?" Vittorio asked. He could play along with Clara for now, but if she was incompetent then he would try to lead the others without her. The requiem of the dead has been postponed long enough.

Vittorio

He had been silent as he often were. Only speaking if he truly felt like he could add something or was asked. He never joined the meetings in his physical form, it was just too much of a bother.

"If we want to win the tournament then how about we make certain their strongest cannot make it to the tournament?"
His astral self turned its head to the left and right to all the shadowy figures around the table.

"If the one named Alto were to vanish then their chances would drastically drop. What I am suggesting is to retrieve him."
Seldom did he enjoy talking to any of those in the school, but right now he needed to convince them to aid in capturing Alto. If it would fail they could still join the tournament and he would have a shot at killing him right there.

"You have beaten him before Clara. You could do it again. But this time we go out in force during the night and find him. Without him they will lose morale and fight amongst themselves which shall effect their performance."

His astral self smiled a healthy smile, but it was a content smile. A premonition of vengeance to be taken, where the divine providence would be delivered by his own hands. "Another option is taking one of those close to him and use as bait to lure him out. Gilliam you could disguise your way into their midst could you not?"

"Yes, two in pair would be good..." He said not thinking of his choice of words for a moment.

She noticed me? She knows I exist! She actually looked at me! But why do I feel this way? Take a deep breath. Keep composure. Focus. You need to take this cool. A hotheaded decision is made for disaster.

He took a deep breath in as he pondered on the best approach when he heard her angelic voice.

Swarm me? Partnership? He blinked and then gasped to himself in both rejoice and horror. He had to be the one to go with her, but he had to do it without drawing attention. He couldn't let that foxboy go with her and put her in harms way. Besides the house was considered scary appearantly. And when girls were scared they were hugging unto people.
There was no way that sly fox would get away with that. What to do... There is no way I can let any of the others go with her either.

"I'll be your partner, Lady Valois-Saint-Remy!" He spoke out as he raised his fist upwards in a rebellious way like he was signing up to duel to the death for a princess, or a man proclaiming said land to belong to his home country as he placed it's banner in the dirt.

What did I say? Idiot! Why did I say it like that?! I can still scavenge the situation.

"Ahem.. our abilities compliment oneanother. It is an obvious team up." He said with a glimmering light in one of his eyes as he offered a smile. That was close... safe for now. I need to collect myself. I need to be focused in order to guard her. But damn her. She is distractive and attractive. Why is that? What is it she has that pulls me closer?

Andreim turned around to look at the approaching Cyan. "Yes, that we did." His eyes Went off Cyan quickly though and to the person behind him. Lady Liselotte. The lady who had so gravely wounded him, she who had made his heart vault and abandon all logic. His eyes flared up on seeing her and he straightened his back, he wanted to do more courtesy but then the others would find out about his weakness.

Then he realized to his horror that Cyan had arrived with her. -He- was with her? The very thought made him furrow his eyebrows.

He grasped at his shirt abit as if he had gotten food down the wrong way in the throat. Before he offered Lise a polite bow worthy of a butler accompanied by a genuine smile. "Lady Valois-Saint-Remy. A pleasure to see you have graced us with your presence." He wanted to use her first name but he wasn't sure how she would react to it and he wouldn't take such a risk in front of these guys of all people.

After having politely greeted Lise he turned his attention back to Cyan. "And you aswell Cyan." He smiled, with his eyes closed as one of his eyebrows twitched slightly, as he tried to place one of his hands on Cyan's shoulder.

Menomaru

Things had not gone as planned.

The knight had gotten to him. She had struck him and struck him good. To think that one of the most powerful great demons of his world was beaten by a human from another. This was beyond his understanding. At least now he would not have to share her company no more. The only comfort he found.

"To think... the great... Menomaru would be defeated by a mere human... in a place like this..."

"... by an enslaved human girl no less." He gave a low chuckle with his teeth gritted Before he finally departed from the world of the living.

Alberich

Alberich had gone forth after the mothman had spoken his last Words and lit his now dead body ablaze using his fiery crystalline sword.

"Good riddance." Alberich said with a smirk as the flame around his sword ceased to burn. He had not needed to step in, not that Mordred had given him much room to make the necessary attack on Menomaru. But that did no longer matter, the enemy was defeated.

"Coward or not. All is allowed in a war in order to win. Or would you rather lose than give up a few ideals? Knight of Camelot. The end justifies the means. If you aren't prepared to use all the tools available in order to get hold of for example The Holy Grail then do you truly deserve it?"

He knew that asking these questions could possibly anger the knight, but as it now where he had only her to work with. He had to get inside of her shell further in order to better guide her to where he wanted her.

Emilio

"Hooh? What's that?" Emilio looked to Nanoha dashing off and he shrugged to Vita before dashing after at high speed midair.

He stopped a distance behind Nanoha and surveyed the scene, making sure there was no hostiles nearby but this odd looking woman.

"Fate? Whose that? This girl? I don't know her." He shrugged abit and then spoke into his communication device to whomever was on the receiving end.

"Commander? There is a strange girl here with a scythe. Engage for retrieval? Extermination?"
Andreim

Andreim watched as Cassius first made his way past him as he was enjoying the scenery. That guy was almost always the first one to arrive to things of interest. What was it this time? Then a bird landed Before him with a scroll.

"Oh?" He tilted his head slightly to the side and then took one of his hands out of his pockets and picked up the scroll as the bird flew away. He undid the seal before reading what was written.

So that's what is going on. I suppose Lise will be there too. I cannot leave her with the others. I guess I am off aswell.

He decided to give chase after Katherine. Throwing glances over his own shoulder to see if he was being followed . But Katherine had gained some distance thus he had to use his water powers to not lose track of her, creating a vortex of spinning water under his feet which in turn he stood upon as it made it's way forwards at a higher speed than he could run at.

Upon arriving at the destination he surveyed the surroundings and those present. Cassius, Katherine and Samoth.

He was the fourth to arrive on the scene unless... Andreim activated his thermal vision and looked about for any other heatsources nearby to make sure no one was spying on them.

Before he loosened control of his water manipulation, letting his shoes touch the ground again, then he slowly made his way forwards on soft steps until he was behind Katherine.

Andreim began to attune to cold temperature and tried to blow some cold air at Katherine's neck just to creep her out even further.

"You gave chase after Cassius the quick, like a hunter chasing a prey. Yet take caution for you may be hunted yourself at times... Katherine the blaze." Andreim crossed his arms and gave her a soft smile look before turning to Cassius and Samoth, looking them both over and then nodding towards the building.

"Remember to be polite when we get indoors. We may be unwanted guests."
