Adding to that, unless you are exhibiting life threatening symptoms (unable to breathe, etc) go to a rapid test site in your area than going to the ER. Local ERs are swamped and overwhelmed here.

Assuming that this is still open to new characters (And players), I'd like to join in.Name: Franklin PennyAge: 42Gender: MaleOccupation: Vehicle Mechanic and Part Time LocksmithAppearance: 6'1", 230 pounds, Permanent dark tan (probably from all the grease) and leathery skin. Relatively muscular (given the work), but a light layer of pudge (beer?). Completely bald, but with an eternal 5 o'clock shadow of a beard/mustache and slate grey eyes. Looks like he shaved......two days ago. Scar along left cheek, probably a knife scar, and multiple scars on both hands, as if used to fighting. Multiple tattoos: 6" bloody knife on right bicep, 3" red heart w/ "Mom" inscribed inside it on the Left forearm, Japanese symbol for 'Warrior' on left side of neck (Actually means 'Pussy Cat', but that's a different story).Bio and personality: Franklin has grown up on 'the south side' of town his whole life. Average in school, never went to college. His father died in his sleep when Franklin was 6, but his mother never took it that hard. As Franklin was growing up, his mother, the tough lady that she was, taught him everything she knew about how to work on cars, bikes, motorcycles, and other vehicles. His life was always difficult, but never impossible. He got into fights almost weekly in school over one subject or another. The majority of the fights centered on whether or not his mother killed his father.During school, Franklin got a job working at a garage, helping his mother pay the bills. He never knew how his mother got money, and he never asked. He just knew that she would occasionally need Franklin to pay a bill or two. Before highschool ended, Franklin's mother died in a car crash....which was odd, because she never owned a car. This put Franklin back a bit and he dropped out of school. He started to focus on drugs and alcohol. Before he got too deep into that world, Franklin's boss, Mr. Greene, smacked some sense into him, literally. Mr. Greene found him on the streets and pretty much kicked his butt all the way back to the shop. And that's where Franklin pretty much stayed. He got a settlement when the IRS sold everything that his family owned, considering he was a minor at the time. He received just over $50k. Mr. Greene talked some sense into him again, getting him to invest it. Eventually, when he was 26, the money grew enough that Franklin was able to open his own shop, still on 'the south side of town'. He named the shop "Penny's", because he was running short on money and that's all the marquis that he could afford. Ever since then, he's run his own mechanic's shop. He's worked on choppers (not helicopters, but BIG bikes, like Harley Davidson's), crotch rockets and rice burners, old cars, new cars and their computer systems, boats, RV's, and even a stripped down Military Hummer or two. Over the last few years, Franklin has expanded his business into Locksmithing after taking a couple of courses on the subject. He still gets into the occasional fight, here and there, and mostly just in Bars and such. He drinks, but not heavily, not enough to be considered a 'drunk'. He doesn't smoke, and since his teenage years, he hasn't done any drugs. Definitely NOT a vegan, he loves being a 'meat and potatoes' kind of guy. He's had women in his life, but none of them stuck around long enough to get married. After his last tattoo, the 'Warrior' tattoo, he did a little bit of hard time. This is because, after a month or two, he found out what the tattoo actually meant, and so he went back and put the tattoo artist in the hospital with a broken jaw, 3 broken ribs, a broken arm, and a broken leg. His business suffered a bit, but after 8 months of good behavior, he got back out of the slammer and back into business. Now, MORE of this crazy stuff about zombies and the apocalypse.

Right now character acceptance is closed, at least for the moment. If you would like, I can pm you if/when slots become open again.
Okay, no. No no no.

If you even wanted to TRY pulling this, you should have discussed it with Gowi and me, since he and I are the GMs. You don't just go...pulling a damn bunker under a church, ESPECIALLY when there is a basement and...it doesn't make any sense in a physical space sort of way. But besides that, no, this is unacceptable. It is insulting to the GMs and the other writers who have put in effort for their characters to suddenly have some 18 year old whizkid magically solve the problem with the snap of a finger.

I'm going to talk to Gowi when he gets up, but I highly suggest that post be deleted immediately. No more warnings.

Would be happy to help if you need it. Not sure what I could do though.

You'd probably be more use than me. Gowi's been prodding me for weeks and I've been creatively bankrupt on the world
St. Albert’s Church 2nd Floor

Henry was feeling much better, and he smiled as Fleur held the key to the Priest’s office in her hand. “Alright, now we have the full run of the place!” His head was no longer throbbing, and he definitely felt more focused now. The two left the dark nursery, and walked down the hall to the Priest’s Office. Outside the large, solid oak door, a placard read: Father Reggie Bellman.

“I wonder if the priest was here today...” Henry muttered, as Fleur opened the door.

The lack of power and the closed curtains kept the room very dark. Light from the fires outside gave the room a slight orange glow, but the room seemed just hot and empty. Until they were hit by the smell. “Urgh!” Henry said, covering his mouth. “What IS that?”

He stepped inside, noticing something slumped over. “Oh god, it’s the priest. He’s dead.” The body remained slumped over, and Henry took a cautious step towards it. “Oh geez...” he frowned. “Let’s...find that key...and get the hell out of here,” he muttered.

He found it-near the hand of the dead priest. The key to the alleyway; the only clear exit they had if they needed to leave this church. He slowly reached for it-and quickly grabbed the key, taking a fast step away. The body remained motionless.
“Phew, for a second there-”

THUMP

“Urrrghhhhh...”

“Uh, Fleur...” Henry said, gently pushing the nurse out the door. “Let’s...get out of here.” He closed the door behind him. “I think we should tell the police officer we have a uh...a monster up here.”
And now Henry won't die! At least not yet! Huzzah!

Ah, okay.I don't think that concept is ever explained in the games, they just like, combine and... spray... Or eat it like a tic tac xD

Yeah, I thought it'd feel LESS like a game if we actually used them like actual herbs. Haha
Crush/grind the herbs and apply to the area (in this case, Henry's head)

Tbh, i have no idea on the lions part, the lamb bit was pretty obvious. None the less I loved the inclusion of puzzles <3

I love dumb puzzles! (the answer is behind the books, of course)

I promise more complex/weirder puzzles later.
And now Henry sets up Fleur to take the glory and solve the RP's first and most simple puzzle!
St. Albert’s Church, Second Floor
“Hmm, I don’t remember seeing a lion statue anywhere in the main church. Maybe there’s one in some of the rooms?”

He entered the other bible study room, to find it spare with the exception of some potted plants on the floor. Henry had no idea what they were, but Fleur may have recognized them. Popular handbooks had been released on a certain kind of herb, well, several kinds of herbs which held medicinal effects which became more potent when mixed with one another. Experts researching the herbs put it simply it a botany book released around 1998:

Each herb has different colors and different effects as medical plants: the green one recovers physical strength, the blue one neutralizes natural toxins, while the red herb does not have any effect by itself. The red herb is only effective when it is mixed with with other herbs.

By grounding the herbs into a powder, Fleur might be able to alleviate Henry’s pain, or she could hold onto them in the case of an emergency. The choice was hers, as Henry shook his head and went on into the Children’s Nursery.

The nursery was dark from pulled curtains, but a large bookshelf could still be made out. Henry peered at it; since it seemed to be the focal point of the room. On the top shelf was a picture of a pastoral scene, with Jesus sitting with a flock of lambs.

The other three shelves all had bookends:

-The first shelf had two ornate wooden horse heads as bookends.
-The second shelf had twin lion bookends, both perched on a pedestal.
-The third shelf had two fierce stone dragon bookends.

“Odd,” Henry muttered.
