Current Graduation has happened - I am no longer a teacher. Won't have to work 12 hour days + weekends anymore, so maybe I'll actually have enough time for hobbies.

I sound like a broken record, but only 2 months left till I'm done teaching. Not sure what's next, but it feels like anything would pay more and be less stressful lol

Teacher update: I feel like a villain from a cartoon. The laughter of teenagers gives me migraines, and I no longer feel guilt when giving bad grades to kids that sleep through my lessons.

Whoops, thanks for telling me. Editing now!
Victory was achieved. The Negari slowly started to return to that black, primordial ooze that all Negari seemed to composed of, dripping into an extremely large puddle. The other girls seemed pretty happy, not to mention she met the FREAKING RIPPER!! Wait until the guys on the forums hear about this! Ogata seemed a little sour, probably because she hated so much mana being used at once. The again, it was just a single Negari, and she still had 80% of her mana left! All in all, she was pretty mana-efficient considering she only restrained the Negari during the fight. Shiina quickly dismissed the thought, however - Why would she need to worry about her mana? She planned to say good bye soon and head home for the night, but before she could utter out the phrase, the puddle seemed to... move.

Before she could react, it quickly began to reform itself, thin and vestigial legs sprouting out of the liquid to drag it's torso out. Immediately, Shiina slammed two of her ribbons onto the gel and spread them as wide as she could, trying to keep the thing from tearing itself out and attacking them. Immediately afterwards, she started to attack the legs with the third ribbon, trying to make them lose their grip and escape slower. It was only after managing to take down two legs that she realized how many Negari had truly appeared - There had to be at least dozens... Luckily, Ripper was able to take care of the smaller Negari with ease, simply slamming into them with her knife to kill them. It wasn't until she noticed that there were others near Ripper that she realized... Holy shit, those are civilians!

Shiina immediately stopped attacking the legs, sending ribbon number three closer to the group. It wasn't until she was halfawy there that she realized it - She was only able to make it halfway... Shiina proceeded to jog her way over to the group, allowing the 1st and 2nd ribbon to stretch to their maximum lengths before she stopped. All the Negari seemded occupied trying to attck Ripper and Aegis, so Shiina sent out her 3rd ribbon, and saw that she was just barely able to reach them. Relief spread through her, only to be sucked away when she saw two of the dinosaur looking Negari bite into Aegis' shoulder. The scream she elicited was worse than anything she ever heard - it was a human scream, not a Negari's. She sent debris flying in different directions, before kicking one of the Negari coming towards her with her foot, sending it flying. The third ribbon raced over to her only to be beaten - A blond woman wearing a red kimono that Shiina wasn't focusing on picked her up by the collar, before yelling something about not crying. What the hell did she expect! Aegis was bleeding super hard!

Shiina gently wrapped the ribbon around the small girl and moving her next to Shiina, then the red-haired school girl, before finally grabbing Aegis as well, who was still being held onto by the red kimono chick. Shiina angrily yelled.

"Don't yell at my friend! And let go of her before she bleeds out!"

Shiina quickly realized she wasn't paying attention to the larger Negari, and slammed her ribbons down once to make sure it was easier to restrain. At least Midori seemed to be trying to help Aegis, Shiina watching as she raced over to help. As a dinosaur Negari raced over to Shiina and the civilians, she briefly took ribbon 2 and smacked the dinosaur, before moving it back to restrain the large Negari. To her horror, one of the legs had managed to start pushing again, and all the Negari's eyes were on her. She had all her ribbons busy, and if a Negari attacked her right now, she could die... Shiina simply resorted to praying, hoping that her third ribbon would be free soon so she could knock out some of the big Negari's legs and protect the civilians and injured Aegis. Remembering her, Aegis called out.

"Aegis-Chan! Are you hurt bad!? Holy crap that's more blood than I thought... J-just stay with me, I'll make sure you don't get hurt anymore!"

Her voice was quivering as she said this. Shiina was actually terrified. There were more Negari here, on this street, than all the other Negari she had fought since becoming a magical girl. Hell, most of them were tougher than any Negari she had faced before as well. All Shiina could do was what she did best - put on a brave face, pretend everything would be alright, and try her hardest to make it work. She moved the young girl behind her, and did her best to move the third ribbon to her as quickly as possible. Shiina was so worried, she didn't even register the pulse of energy that exuded from Rippers direction, the energy of a beacon being established. All she needed was the third ribbon... Then she would wrap them all up and move them on top of a building or somewhere that was safe... Shiina barely saw the white haired woman clad in armor, simply happy to have extra help taking our these Negari.

I'm pretty sure those are the elements we're allowed to pick from, since it says in the OP that those are the ones we are picking from.

Anyway the idea of this is to have a group of warriors with powers centered on one element. Specifically these Seven, Water, Fire, Earth, Air, Spirit, Dark, Light.

Will post sometime in the afternoon.

EDIT: Writing up post now.
@Shadow Daedalus
Spirit was claimed, but I think Light is still open.

The kick connected solidly in Lorken's groin, Karada's leg feeling strained from the amount of force put behind it. While the elbow hit connected squarely in his chest, it would be clear to anyone what the stronger blow was. Years spent training his body gave him a squat of 325 pounds, and a kick from legs like those were sure to knock this guy down. While Karada couldn't hear it, Lorken's teeth dug into his arms, as a barely suppressed scream echoed next to Karada's ears. The grip that had encased Karada's throat like an iron maiden immediately softened, enough for him to break away and gulp down the sweet, sweet oxygen to his burning lungs. Eyes narrowing, Karada immediately turned, using the momentum to help throw a punch directly at Lorken's throat. As the horned man coughed violently, Karada quickly rose to his feet, attempting to deliver a kick to the gut, only to feel a bright flash of pain in his leg. Lorken's claws had dug deep into his flesh, nearly down to the bone, and the blood of the two men began to mix. It would almost be poetic, if Karada wasn't in searing pain. In the back of his mind, he jokingly reminded himself that his pants were now completely ruined, only to be interrupted mid thought as a hand brushed the back of his head, slamming his and Lorken's together. Stars flew, and Karada was about to deliver another punch to the throat, but a combination of pain from his leg and claw marks on his throat caused him to move too slowly, and with another swift headbutt (Thankfully missing the horns both times), he and Lorken both fell to the ground.

"Karada Fudosan, pass."

The words barely processed in his dazed mind, and he was already shakily making his way to his feet when the words finally seemed to register. Karada simply waited several seconds, barely keeping himself steady and out of unconsciousness, pondering if he was simply trying to trick Karada. It wasn't until he stood up and turned to unlock the gym door that Karada calmed down. Lorken was smart, keeping him in his peripheral vision, but he was being sure to let him know that he didn't intend to fight Karada anymore. Karada began to make his way over to the door, doing his best not to show his limp, before speaking out.

"I already knew that. I told you-"

A sudden coughing fit overtook Karada, remnant of that choked windpipe. So much for looking cool...

"-I told you I was a hero, didn't I?"

Normally he would have been more respectful, but bleeding heavily and getting a concussion didn't really make him feel in the mood to kiss ass. Karada staggered out of the gym, slowly making his way over to his abandoned suit jacket. At least that wasn't ruined... As he made his way over, Gank rose to his feet, checking out his body and trying to figure out what he was in for. Karada received a pat on the back from his friend, and while the physical contact occurred, Karada whispered as softly as he could in order to ensure Lorken didn't hear.

"Good luck, he's a tough fucker. Go for his family jewels."

Karada continued his staggering, not even turning to look at Gank's reaction. As he finally made his way to his spot, he moved his suit jacket to prevent blood from getting on it, before slumping unceremoniously to the ground. Karada did his best in order to retain consciousness, occasionally slapping himself awake. After about 10 minutes, however, he was feeling significantly better - Probably because he was treating his leg wound with some disinfectant and bandages he brought along. After being satisfied, he pondered slightly how bad the others must be worried - Karada came back with a deep leg wound, was barely conscious, and was bleeding profusely through the nose because of the headbutts. Then again, he wasn't that worried when the short kid disappeared (And still wasn't present, to Karada's dismay), and the kids before him, while not as roughed up, were definitely worse for wear. Maybe the other kids had already accepted this was their last chance. No, that was definitely it.

The white-haired girl seemed to be more comfortable, or at the least wasn't ignoring the group of people sitting around her anymore. Karada was a ball of nerves before entering, but now that he had passed the test, he spent more time examining her - The most obvious thing about her was that she had a pair of large wings on her back. Hell, when she was sitting, they were touching the ground! Other than that, she also possessed antennae, and while she wasn't as short as the red head, she looked very lithe, almost delicate. This pointed to a bug like quirk, and considering most animal-like quirks related to an actual animal, she was most likely based on a flying insect, like a fly or a dragonfly. The people with bug-like quirks face some of the only discrimination that even exists anymore, mainly due to their alien looking physiology. Maybe she was like him, and was disliked or rejected for something she couldn't control, or something she didn't do. That, or Karada was simply overthinking it because of massive blood loss. Keeping the girl in his peripheral vision, Karada's thoughts wandered to the short guy that was missing. Aketchi-kun, if he remembered correctly. Where the hell did he go? Was Lorken actually serious when he said that he wasn't going easy on them? It was almost impossible that he was killed... He probably got beat up pretty badly and got sent to the nurse office or something... Karada settled on that excuse, lest his mind wander to darker reasoning.

Time passed slowly, and with nothing to do besides occasionally smacking himself to retain consciousness, he waited for Gank to exit the gymnasium, before pulling out two cigarettes and offering one to the worse-for-wear Gankona.

"How'd it go?"
