"A million times I have done this charade. The moment people figure it out, I get the boot." she thought.
"But don't you want to see the fear in their eyes when they see who you really are...? Don't you want dominion of this place, just like how you were unchallenged in Vaal Kastrix?" said the Voice.
Ciara scoffed, immediately thinking of Gulliver and Valen. "I'd love to wipe the smirk off their faces."
"It starts by building a rumor. A rumor of power. This could be the place to start."
She took a deep breath, narrowing her eyes resolutely at the Undermage. "Head Advisor, with all due respect, you have no right to ask me about my intentions. If you want answers..."
She stood from her seat, rising to her full height.
Her breath caught when she felt the cold metal of a pistol against her temple.
"Put the heart down, and back the hell up if you want your friend to live," the guard said to Ellie in a rumbling baritone, digging the gun into Dream's head.
Dream squinted at Ellie, vision blurred as she tried to breathe. The heart, glinting in Ellie's hands.
The doctor, his face turning white every time she asked what would happen if they failed. Above all else, he said, they had to keep the heart safe. They had to, even if it meant...
She snarled, her boot stamping down on the guard's foot, a burst of light bruising the bone. He yelped, losing his grip. That's all she needed, and she tore away. But in her haste, she saw his free arm reaching for her, and she slipped on panicked feet as he pushed her off the railing.
She held back a scream, staring straight down into the boiling pit below. The guard wrapped a tight hand around her ankle, and Ellie could see Dream's other foot flailing; she restrained herself poorly from kicking the guard, desperately hoping she wouldn't die.
As her captor supported himself against the railing, his pistol pointed at Ellie.
Deep, golden orbs stared back at her from within the cave.
God, she couldn't breathe.
He was monstrous. The ground trembled under her feet as his rippling, massive body exited the cave. Thunderous footsteps left cracks in the dirt, his breath sent waves of heat creeping over her skin. The transformation was slow, but it looked like something from a nightmare with the way his long teeth were bared.
A great and terrible roar sounded from his gaping maw.
Description: The defacto leader of the Sparrows. Islara was always an odd one, even since coming to the service of the former king. Only that she served him faithfully as one of his royal assassins and had even developed a rapport with some of the other servants of the king. She was away from the Hathforth when the Wizard Queen stormed it and took control of the kingdom. Now, left with nothing and a desire for revenge, she has gained in touch with the former royal guard and friend Roland Corrin, and the two are working together to grow his spy network and help him in any way that she can.
In a mysterious event, they and the rest of the Corrin Household appeared to have been murdered, stabbed to death. However, Islara managed to evade death, and escape with her life.

Raiden Asher
32 | He/him | Human
Description: Raiden grew up on the roads of Arrowfell, traveling with the ambassador of Tarin as they visited the cities, Hathforth especially. His mother and father were situated in Hathforth, his father as a city watch, and his mother as a servant in the kitchen.
Through the bloody ascension of the Wizard Queen, his parents sadly lost their lives, and he lost his ambassador. His ambassador's last instructions were to travel to Tarin, and the Corrin estate, where Raiden would be part of the rebellion against the Queen.
Armed with the ambassador’s signet ring, Raiden quickly found that the ambassador had actually been a part of a covert organization known as the Sparrows, run by none other than Sir Roland Corrin. With proof of the ambassador’s ring, Raiden was quickly assimilated into the ranks of the organization, his years on the road and deflective battle style making him a great fit to continue on his ambassador’s work as a spy.
Raiden is usually seen with his pet wolf that fights alongside him in battles.
Magic/Seed:
x Animal Tongue - Raiden is able to speak to and understand animals, allowing him to form close bonds with the fauna he meets on the road. This is how he got his pet wolf, Kai.
x Invisible touch - Raiden is able to turn swords and other small objects invisible, making it harder to deflect and anticipate.
x Spin Step - Any twist or turn his hands or feet make, due to runes tattooed on his hands and feet, are three times faster than the fastest sword thrust, making him harder to dodge, and easier to parry his enemies’ hits. This is where he gets his signature deflect style from.
Jikoryss
50 | He/him | Dragon
Description: Jikoryss was in illegal fantastical fighting rings for the majority of his life, all throughout his juvenile years and some of his adult years. He acquired many scars from these brutal fights against unicorns, centaurs, griffins and other exotic creatures. However, he often found himself as the winner, ensuring he outlived the other, less fortunate creatures.
A certain barmaid overheard one of her tables talking about a particular green dragon set to fight again that night. Raiden was able to glean that secret from her with some… charm and charisma. He was then able to infiltrate the fighting ring and free the dragon.
Jikoryss, feeling in debt to Raiden for his rescue, has agreed to help Raiden for a few years, until the debt is repaid.
Magic/Seed: Jikoryss is able to breathe electrical fire. He can fly. He also has physically and magically-resistant scales, allowing him to withstand weak-to-mid attacks.

Baroness Anabel Furino
11 | She/her | Human
Description: A baron's family never had a lot of power in the grand hierarchy of court, but House Furino was undoubtedly known for its trademark pride. They were proud of their status and what they did. This pride is likely what caused the downfall of Anabel’s parents.
When the Wizard Queen completed her ascension, she gathered all the houses in Hathforth, House Furino included. When the Wizard Queen demanded the houses bend the knee, House Furino, among other few houses, refused. Her whole house refused, her parents, her older sister, her younger brother. It was only she that cowered in that moment, afraid of death.
So she abandoned her family, and bent the knee, refusing to watch as they were executed on the spot.
She was raised up from where she stood, and the newly-made baroness was inducted into the Orphan's Matron almost immediately, working on behalf of the Wizard Queen.
Anabel wouldn't have it any other way.
Magic/Seed:
x The Illuminating Quartz - A rose-colored seed that hangs from a flower hair pin. A gift from the Wizard Queen to Anabel on becoming such a young baroness. It allows Anabel to enter the mind of a person, and scan their thoughts for information. This is a forceful entry, where the victim must either lower their guard and not resist, or there will be a battle of wills between Anabel and the victim. The victim will be very aware of Anabel’s presence in their mind, unless they are unconcious. Beating the victim senselessly before Anabel scans their mind is also an effective method of gaining entry.
Won't be able to get to the sheet until Saturday, but it should be a quick write, so feel free to start before then anyway!
Sounds good! I have your part written up already. Once your CS is approved, I'll post your part in the IC, and we can start from there. I'm looking forward to it. :)
Amanda appeared to have found herself in a school. The air was musty with the smell of chalk. The greenish fluorescent lights marked the wall down the hall. The floor was glossy and well-polished. She could hear the sound of buzzing fluorescents almost everywhere she turned.
Exploring would reveal that she was in a small school indeed, or a part of a school. On the left side was a cafeteria filled with white benches and unlimited food in stainless steel containers, along with trays, cardboard plates, and plastic utensils. At the back of the cafeteria was a door with an ‘Employees Only’ sign written on it. Most noticeable about this door was the large, green exit sign above it.
On the right side, leaving the cafeteria was a glossy hallway lined with lockers and doors. These doors opened easily enough, with four on either side. Each led into small classrooms filled with wooden desks and plastic chairs.
At the far right, at the end of the hallway, was a staircase leading down to a door. This door also had a large exit sign over it, illuminated in the semi-darkness.
All the while, Amanda could feel something watching her. Two resident stuffed animals also resided in this level.
After wandering what appeared to be hallways in the daycare, Lucas would eventually find himself in a new place entirely. The air was humid and warm, with the gentle hum of a filtration system as water was pumped through the pool in front of him. About two meters ahead of him was a ladder that led down into the pool, marked by painted cement pillars in the pool.
The room itself was tiled, with plastic clouds hanging from the ceiling. Tiled pillars supported the structure of the room. However, one appeared to be slightly glitched. There was an illumination of sunlight around the corner, which one could only reach by entering the pool, which was waist height, and walking past the orange and green painted faces. Around the corner there were windows that only bore illumination, almost blinding to look at. And at the end of the pool, past the windows, was a dark tunnel.
Although the pool water was heated, one had to be wary of the cold spots; best to stay away from those.
Looking right from the pool ladder, Lucas would find a sandwich in a plastic bag and a candy bracelet on the floor, completely dry and fresh-looking. Past the sandwich, there was tiled floor that followed the pool, leading to a door with a green exit sign over it.
Within the room, there were also two stuffed animals, ever-watching.
That's the impression Michelle would get after entering the Swan Room. The carpeted floor was covered in three inches of water, cool and sterile on her feet. The carpet and walls were a mismatch of pinks, with orange-framed paintings hanging along the hallways. Useless light switches presented themselves on certain walls, where flicking them did… absolutely nothing.
Unfortunately, due to the wet nature of the floor, there were no obvious food sources to be found.
if one squinted, they could almost assume they were in a hallway of a home, or a hotel.
As Michelle entered the level, she would find the hallway split on her left side, revealing another hallway with a swan and a plastic table floating gently in the water. Beyond the swan was a wooden door with an exit sign above. If she continued walking straight, without entering the split hallway with the swan, she would be met with straight hallway, a metal door, and an exit sign above.
Right near the metal door, there was a series of dots and lines drawn in black spray paint.
