When you have to disable a new 'advanced' search to get proper search results and learn that 'advanced' means 'AI'. Let's rename it artificial superficiality, short 'AS'. Not to be confused with...

I'm slightly proud of myself having overcome my hate for indoor spiders a bit over the years. In my youth I often eliminated them, now I carry them outside in a jar. Spiders here are harmless though.

Believe me, if they could, the entirity of Southern Germany would send you all the rain they had over the last couple of days. I'm just not sure you'd actually want the widespread destruction.

Finally managed to catch the mouse. Our cat must consider me the most incompetent person of all times given how she watched instead of helping. She dragged the problem in though!

Bio

Welcome to my profile page!

Who the hell is this person behind those many miles of fiber optics and copper cable ?

  • I'm a 34 year old guy.
  • ... who's working as a software developer
  • ... and enjoys roleplaying as a casual hobby to distract himself from ongoing stress

And into which hell will I descend with you participating in one of my roleplays?

  • I'm a fantasy addict: medieval high and low!
  • I'd consider myself to be a low casual roleplayer, 3 paragraphs per post on average.
  • My schedule varies. It might happen that I won't be able to post at all for a week, but then again it might happen that I'll reach a sweet spot inside which I can go on a posting rampage. I'd say one can expect 1-2 posts a week from me, depending on the lengths involved.
  • English is not my native language, but so far I've not encountered anyone who had had trouble with me over that :)

Want to RP with me ? Shoot me a PM, but don't shoot me!

Thanks for visiting!

everyone had a drink from Dimitir's flask to warm themselves then everything went blank and they woke up back together all hung over!! Mystery solved

We still have to do the Vaughtar-gets-totally-drunk-and-ruins-an-entire-floor-of-TRIDENT's-headquarters-by-walking-around-uncontrollably-until-a-desperate-group-of-officemen-stops-the-monster scene!
@Holy Soldier
How fat has the king to be in order to be in need of a throne chair that even Kerylun can sit on with a lot of space around and not having to be worried about the thing collapsing at any time ? XD
The man's belly was hanging over his stretched girdle, almost touching the goblin's head as he was approached by the owner of the tavern. A big finger, its upper side partly covered by a fairly dense amount of skin hair, was directed at Baxxink. "Can you even drink a single beer ? I hope your companions compensate for your nonexistant size." The man chuckled, then got back to his place behind the counter and started to prepare the beverages.

Vekyzz seemed to be the perfect match for this tavern: His equipment just looked as run-down and patched together as the building, yet the man wearing it was beyond any doubt impressive. The way he tried to get in however was not: The demon's horn scraped along the upper part of the doorframe and so did his arms and shoulders on the sides of it. Gritting his teeth, he slammed the door closed with a certain degree of annoyance in his movements. Vekyzz signaled towards the fat man just saying "Beer please, fast!" and grabbed the first chair available. He didn't spend much time on inspecting how sturdy it was.
@Eviledd1984

"What's the matter" Madawc was still sitting on his mount and couldn't understand why the guards seemed to be so interested in them. Weren't they looking like rather normal travellers after all ? Always these checkpoints and controls... The demon in him and already grown pretty tired of the concept. It was only annoying those too honest or too stupid enough to go along the many other ways to sneak into a city, especially if it was as oversized as this one.
An-Hasst heard Geradin's roar. Well... Could one ask for a stronger, less ambiguous indication that the fight against this beast was bein agreed to than this ? Probably not. The huge Skayleigh aimed with one eye and pulled the trigger. The sound of the crossbow's mechanism was much louder than that of the bolt travelling right into what, according to analogy, had to be the beast's clavicle.

The half-elf briefly considered two very different options. The first one: reload. The second one: Grab the two bayonets and assist Beren as the warrior monk had decided to go melee. Judging the effectiveness of the first bolt was only one part of the equation. The other was if his comrade would be better off if he joined him in the swamp. However, after having looked at the two blades for the first time since their journey had begun, he decided that they were too short to be really effective against this beast. Additionally one couldn't be sure how solid the ground below the opaque water was. An-Hasst was well aware of the fact that he put a not-so-lithe man's weight down on each of his feet.

The next bolt was nudged into the guiding depression along the crossbow's middle. It was one of higher quality, hopefully with considerably more penetration power. The Skayleigh aimed for the creature's breast. With it fighting both the lizardman and Beren, its head was a target he considered too difficult to hit from the distance.

An-Hasst didn't see the 'defensive' role Sett started to play, otherwise he, by now, would maybe have turned into En-Rage(d).
This week was very busy for me, but I've an extended weekend ahead. I expect to post either this evening (my time) or tomorrow.

Sorry for the delay.
@Halvtand Calendar ? What calendar ? Calendars are for people who are controlled by time instead of controlling it.

@Zelosse We could use her help since our former tank left who was to guard the royalty while the rest of us spied. But it seems a bit abrupt to take her out of saving the town to our parallel world.

What do you think @Fetzen?

If our group needs a tank then I don't see much of another option than to do this. However I share your concerns.
It was almost needless to say that Madawc didn't feel very well. He was severly injured and had to hope for his demonic healing capabilities to kick in early so he would not have to suffer from the pain too long. Probably more importantly however, he felt humiliated. He had not even been able to really participate in that fight because he had been knocked out with the first hit! With a quite grumpy tone, he adressed Xavier and Bette. "You two... what will be our next stop ?"
@Halvtand If it should turn out necessary or at least really helpful I could adjust my big guy to a more 'benign' implementation (that is... changing race). Since Shoryu Magami's mage is gone I wouldn't spoil myself from interesting plot potential in this direction.
