Alrighty I'll be going away for the next 3-4 days (should be back no later than the 18th of March), but I'll check in occassionally while I'm on my trip.

We are also getting close to the 2 week mark that Esty has unfortunately been required to leave and unable to return. I think we need to consider the possibility that she may not return (at least not within a time frame of a few months). So I propose the following actions (More or less what I have previously mentioned):

- We complete the Beach Episode intermission while we play in IC, getting back into IC normal play on the 25th of March (Or approximately) with a new resource system (Single resource - Supply). Territory wars Continue.

- We complete the Beach Episode intermission first, then enter back into IC normal play on the 15th of April (Or approximately) with a new resource system (Single resource - Supply). Terrirory wars Freeze.

- We complete the Beach Episode intermission first, then enter back into IC normal play on the 15th of April (Or approximately) with the old resource system (Dual resources - Personnel and Wealth). Territory wars Continue.

- We complete the Beach Episode intermission first, then place Nocturnia Memoirs on indeffinate hold for Esty's return (If she wants to continue it after returning as well).

I have drawn up plans, arcs and systems to continue IC normal play that I'm getting close to being happy to share, but if people aren't comfortable to continue the game in Esty's abscence I understand~. Let me know your throughts and I'll chip in when I have time.

Ooh interesting, I don't mind but outside of beach shenanigans with Iron Gate the only unclaimed district left would they be alright there? Assuming they'd still be taking a district even during the pause.

I'll give them Iron Gate and Elysium Heights both so they can establish a genuine foothold arriving in the game so late. Also helps me rotate out of having to worry about my own position in game and will let me focus more on GM duties (I'll still have characters IC doing stuff but more as a supporting role for everyone else).

It's really not a good place to get a feel for the characters since we are all ignoring our usual methods of dealing with each other and Martin. But if they want to sign up, by all means.

And Beach day is updated into the new round! Akula's have brought water guns, Vicky and Higgin's spotted whales and dolphins breaching offshore, and Khor has left a whole lot of fish with @Herald Leon if he wants more BBQ grill supplies (also added something on the end of Leon's first scene in your interested. If you don't want to play off what I added let me know and I'll delete my addition~).

Beach day round 2 has started! Theme for this on is Beach activities, go wild or just sit back and watch the show~ ^_^.

EDIT 2: We might have another player joining soon, would others mind if they join in on beach day to get a feel for the crowd/characters?

Also quick question, is there a current map of Nocturnia with the districts updated status's? Such as Silverside now being upgraded to Aristocrat?

Noc noc burg stand.

Please, it'd be great if a noc noc burg stand or truck rumbled onto the beach. Even outside Nocturnia, you can't escape the premier supplier of alternate protein haha.

@flux hopefully its open ended enough that if you want to slot Khor in with them, you can! As for theme/rounds, that all seems fine to me - no objections. Will see how the pace goes.

We could do a volleyball tournament.

There is:

We could do teams of 5. Everyone gets a number. Whoever starts it can be 1 and everyone else gets a number.

Then you can roll dice, if your character gets 10-20, they hit. If they get 9 or below. They miss the ball.

If they hit it, flip a coin to see if they hit it to the other side or not.

Either way it goes, they roll a dice of d6. If it lands on a number that a character has, then that character has a chance to hit the ball.

And the first team to get 21+ points wins!

That's just my idea for today.

I really like this idea, rules seem solid enough too :3. I might streamline them a little if I can but otherwise I think it'd be alot of fun~! (God I hope Khor rolls a 1 hahaha).

Also how many rounds of beach time do we want? I have 6 rough themes for rounds up at the moment but do we want less? (Also feel free to suggest your own scene themes if you'd like~!)
- Arrival (current)
- BeachFun (swimming, games, etc)
- Lunch (pretty self explanatory)
- Tournament (volley ball championship, sandcastle judging, water ski survival, who knows!)
- Finale (Last chance for shenighans and to melt martins mind)
- Wrap up (Spare scene to tie up any loose bits)

I'll tick over to the next scene in 2 days and try turn the rounds over every Tuesday~.
