Kay nodded and stepped out of the car, closing the door behind her and stared up at the house. She took a deep breath, unsure if she could actually do this but she knew she had to. Exhaling deeply she walkes up the front porch and lifted her hand up to knock on the door, but hesitated at first. "you can do this.." she whispered to herself, before managing to actually knock on the door.

"be right there!" came the familiar sound of Sam through the house before Kay hesrd her footsteps toward the door and the door unlocking then opening. "h-hey" Kay stammered looking at her sister in the eyes, but instead of a greeting back she practically got pounced on and hugged tightly. "oh my god Kay! I thought... I thought Ethan had killed you!" Sam cried into her shoulder, making Kay hug her sister back just as tightly and the floodworks just opened.
Kay stirred awake when she felt John's hand on her shoulder and hesrd his voice pierce through her sleep. Opening her eyes she gave a small yawn, lowering her arm that she was leaning on, her elbow giving a little pop sound as she did so. She looked at John and Serena as she focused her eyes before glancing at the house they were parked in front of and felt that all too familiar tight knot in her stomach of nervousness.

"guess there's no turning back now" she mumbled, looking back at the other two. "I'll text one of you or put it in a group text if I need you both" she told them, opening the passenger door. "and you two do the same okay?" she added.
Kay nodded at John's words, "thanks John" she replied.

The drive to Seattle was long and required at least a couple of pit stops for breaks and switch overs between Kay and Serena driving. Kay hadn't driven in a long time so it really took it out of her, as they neared Seattle's seafront downtown area Kay had left the driving to Serena, leaving her with the satnav guide to the last place she knew Sam lived. During her break from driving she had fallen asleep in the backseat, her head against her arm that was propped up against the window.

From where they were it would have taken Serena another ten minutes to get to the house in question.
As the two of them discussed the plan that they had so far, Kay focused on the driving out of town and following the satnav. She felt a small pang of guilt making both John and Serena go to look into the god vessel problem on their own, but she knew she had to check in on Sam alone and make sure she was safe, whilst hoping that the demons and downworld creatures that were hunting her, wouldn't find her in Seattle and follow her.

"I'll meet up with you two as soon as I can, I just need to know Sam is safe first" she finally spoke up.
Mika let Bobby say his point of view more, knowing it was better for him to get all his reservations about this whole plan out the way now rather than make him be silent and dwell on them. Bobby would always be more of her father than her actual father was to her, and despite her stubborn decision to leave home with Dean when the time came, she did care deeply about what he thought an dloved him dearly.

She continued to sit there and let the men discuss everything between them, when she could hear and see them get heated once more even though she fully agreed with Dean's comments about them being able to look after each other. She flinched slightly as Bobby brought up the example of the werewolves practically gutting Dean, knowing Dean would have to have a damn good counter if Bobby was to back down after that and luckily for Dean, he did have a good counter.

Mika was about to say speak up when Bobby spoke before her and echoed her comments she hadn't even said, without him even knowing it. As he walked away she too sighed and leaned sideways, placing her head on Dean's shoulder. "could have gone worse I guess" she quietly remarked to him, not wanting to be too loud whilst Bobby on the phone, to try and find a hunter or several to finish the job they couldn't. "but thanks for having my back" she added, weaving one arm through his and her other arm over his same arm as a sort of hug action.

"I just hope he does let me go when the day comes" she sighed, always worried that Bobby would go back on his word because that was what her own biological father would do. There was no way she would bail out on going with Dean, and if it did mean she snuck out at night to try and catch up to Dean, she would sure as hell do it, even if it mesnt she left an apology letter to Bobby in the process.

"on another note, I can't help but feel he would have reacted better to some mundane normal announcement than this" she sadly smirked, as she was far from amused by her thinking but it was a fact she was thinking nonetheless.
Lexi accepted both the brother's comments about there being lots of room in the bunker and that she wouldn't be in the way. Dean's particular comment about being able to hold 'a tiny woman' made her scoff and smirk, it not being the first time someone had made some kind of remark on her height, but with that lack of height came agility which always proved useful on hunts.

As they all ate it was rapidly clear from Dean's constant groans as the food went down that he really was appreciating the cooked meal, as well as clearly they hadn't eaten proper home cooked meal for a long while. She knew they ate takeout a lot just from what Sam had previously said on various phone calls or them bumping into each other and take out bags were evidently in his grip. It made her begin to think that when she leaves, maybe she should make a batch of food that would do them for a while if put in the freezer, just to keep them going for a short while at least.

She listened to him as he confirmed that the bunker was in a good location and the idea of living here with most locations being less than 24 hours away did seem like a dream. She continued to eat what as left of her bowl of food as she too noticed out the corner of her eye that Sam was looking between her and Dean a few times, but she didn't think much of it, deciding to just ignore it instead.

When Dean spoke to Sam, he rose an eyebrow in shock that his brother was actually deciding to take a shower and clean up for a change. His shock turned into a slight snigger as he mentioned the pie. "about time!" he joked, but he was actually relieved that after days of nagging for him to look after himself, he was actually choosing to do so. 'maybe I should have brought Lexi here days ago' he thought to himself, unable to not think that having her here quite possibly was a factor for Dean's change of behaviour.

Lexi looked up at Dean surprised that he would pat her on the shoulder, "its no problem, glad you liked it" she replied as he went by, then looked at Sam and gave him the look that perfectly said 'I wasn't expecting that'. With Dean gone and out of earshot, Lexi and Sam spoke to each other about all kinds of random things as well as Sam joking about having brought Lexi to the bunker before now if it meant Dean would actually take a shower more often.

When Dean came in and went straight to the pie Sam smirked, glad to see a glimmer of the old Dean back in the room, not just because he was looking at the pie like it was gift from the gods, but also physically looked like his old self in his clean clothes and shaven face. "you can have however much you want" Lexi commented to Dean, knowing she was now too full to eat another thing. "that don't mean the whole thing though" Sam teased, which got him a jab in the arm by Lexi. "ow" Sam laughed, rubbing his arm, "don't be mean to your brother" she jokingly scolded him.
With everyone and everything in the car, Kay started the engine and set up her satnav on her phone, pulling out and away from John's place and began the long drive to Seattle.

Josh watched them leave and when Trish stood beside him, he put his arm round her, "to be honest I really don't know. I'm just hoping it will all go well for them" he replied to her.
Josh stayed behind but stood by the front door to watch them leave. He was more worried about the three of them being in Seattle, than he was about any of them who were staying behind.

Kay chuckled, "That he was" she agreed seeing Serena walk over to the car. "ready to go?" she asked Serena as she unlocked the car so they could chuck their lugguage in the trunk. "lets get our stuff in and head out" she added, pushing herself off the car side and walking to the back of the car, popping the trunk and putting her bag in it.
Josh nodded at her advice, "I will I promise" he told her, "Now go before those two leave without you" he smirked, not thinking for an instant that John and Kay would actually go wihtout Serena, but it seemed the appropriate joke to make.

Kay smirked at John's words, "you saw how smitten he seemed to instantly be too huh?" she commented, twilring the car keys round on her fingers.
Seeing Bobby follow her inside and then proceed to narrow his eyes at her and Dean sitting together, Mika suddenly felt even more nervous about telling them what they had decided, but she did it anyway as she knew she couldn't stall for time with Bobby.

When Bobby absolutely erupted into full blown disagreement and borderline worried anger at their news, Dean wasn't the only one that flinched as Mika also flinched as Dean practically yelled bsck defensively at their decision to go together. She knew Bobby wouldn't like the idea, Hell's, they both knew it but she also knew it was out of how protective he was over her. After everything he had witnessed with her upbringing it was no wonder that he was hesitant about the idea.

The yelling between the two men made her remain silent and look down at her lap, her fingers clenching tightly shut on her thighs as she just listened to them yell back and forth their points of view. She knew deep down that both had valid points, Dean did rarely stand up to his dad unless it was about Sam, but even then she knew Sam was always the one to regularly stand up to John and Sam wasn't around anymore.

When the room feel quieter, she knew that what Dean seem to say seemed to have some kind of effect and she looked back up at Bobby. "I know he dislikes me greatly, but Bobby-" she sighed mid sentence, before continuing, "I don't wanna be apart from Dean anymore. I love Dean and John quite frankly needs to accept that truth even if he doesn't accept us. I'm better when I'm with Dean, we work well together and I know I'll just be distracted if I'm away from him, wondering if he's still alive or if John has practically left him for dead... Again" she explained.

She knew how clichΓ© her reply was sounding but she didn't know how else to explain her reasons, especially as at the end of the day, it really did bottle down to her love for Dean. "I trust Dean with my life Bobby" she added, now starting to think any other news would have been welcomed by Bobby than what they actually told him.
