The idea of just dismantling a bed because she was clumsy enough to stumb her toe on one of the legs of it was amusing to Lexi and made her smirk and scoff at the very notion. Though she was glad that she didn't somehow stupidly break a toe or something on similar lines. She was also incredibly glad that he seemed to be truthful to her and say he slept the best he had in a while. There was just something about his tone that told her he wasn't lying to her.

"I'm glad you slept alright and damn straight I don't snore" she replied, knowing how hard it can be to sleep alone when someone hasn't been used to it for so long. She was also amused by his snoring comment and couldn't resist making a smart ass remark back.

Something in her mind told her he was looking when she was getting dressed but she didn't exactly complain at all. It wasn't an off putting notion to have Dean Winchester of all people watching her bsck as she got dressed. She didn't however let on that she could feel him watching as she was more focused on listening to him dismiss her apology. "in all honesty? I missed it too. Sleeping alone feels so lonely" she told him.

Suitably dressed she looked over her shoulder as he went over to the bed and patted the mattress beside him, an action that gave her a wave of familiarity to her and she welcomed it. Scoffing in an amused manner, she walked over to the mattress and sat where he patted, "well, if you insist on it. I'm pretty sure I'll live though, but I guess a second opi ion never hurts" she smirked, smiling in her eyes.

She didn't think anyone could bring out her teasing side again, but here Dean was doing exactly that. She was being herself and in turn being naturally playfully flirty, rather than obnoxiously so, something she didn't think anyone could bring out of her since her fiancΓ©, but here she was being proven wrong. She actually welcomed being like this with Dean and judging by how much he kept being teasing and smiling around her, he didn't seem to mind too much either.

She lifted her foot up onto the mattress, but kept her eyes on Dean the whole time. "so... What's your opinion? Will I live to have all my toes in tact for another day?" she asked, tucking her damp hair behind her ear.
Kay smiled, "Precisely, and if there's one thing I know its that feeling like you're going insane is no fun" she told Serena. "So why don't we go in the living room with the other two and our tea and relax in comfortable couches before we head back home?" she suggested, still partly wanting to almost big sister/mother the woman in a protective manner.

Sam rose an eyebrow at John's words, but decided she wasn't going to ask. If Kay thought that running away and keeping her out of this world was safer than her being fully in it, then she was going to still respect that by deciding to only know the very raw and bare basics. "Well, whatever it is I have no doubts that you and Kay will be able to be there for her and help her through whatever this is" she smiled.
Kay couldn't help but smile ever so slightly, but it wasn't out of happiness or amusement. It was a sad smile, as she never wanted them to feel they had to be in such a mode. "somehow... I'm not entirely surprised" she told her. "I'm glad you both did too. Those underground tunnels are so easy to get lost in and so many areas aren't safe at all" she added. "but we should try and not think about that for now" she quickly tacked on the end.

Sam looked at him sadly, "not much I'm afraid. Just that she went too far" she explained to John. "sorry I couldn't be of much help, but she seemed pretty closed off to me" she added.
Feeling her shake in her grip, Kay held her more protectively as Serena opened up more and more. "then we as a group will do all we can to never let you feel like that again. We'll be there to pull you back from those depths if we see you get close to it. I promise you" she told her with determination in her tone. "I know it's scary, but we can fight those temptations with all our might" she added.

Sam nodded, knowing it was understandable that he would be worried. "I know, I am too but I also have a lot of faith in Kay." she replied to her.
MIKA CHAMBERS

Reaching back to the motel, Mika sighed with relief that they were back and she let Dean do the texting to the other group. Whilst he got out of the car, she gathered her stuff but it didn't take her long to notice out the corner of her eye Dean reaching for his gun making her tense up in the car. Using all the mirrors and the windows of the car, she looked around to find some sort of danger, but only found Cason standing there and by the looks of things, he had an hellhound with him as well. If the night before hadn't happened, she would have relaxed a little but she didn't relax at all.

She remained tensed as she didn't know if Dean would make another attack or not even though he holstered his gun again into the back of his pants. Sitting in the car still, she went through various options of what she should do. Should she remain in the car and just stay out of this stand off between the two men or should she get out of the car and try and act like last night never happened? The latter idea made her scoff at herself, like hell she could pretend last night didn't happen. She also most lost Dean in a romantic partner manner and in a life or death manner all in the space of an hour.

Dean walking round to her side of the car and opening the car door for her made her snap out of her thoughts. Stepping out of the car, she remained behind Dean deciding not to irritate him any more by stepping to his side or in front of him. She listened to what Cason was saying, noting at how he was seeming to revel in being an utter smartass to Dean which made her roll her eyes lightly.

However it was when Cason turned his focus on her and said hi that made her raise an eyebrow as she had hoped he would just leave it at all the information he had given Dean and ignore her. Folding her arms across her chest, she looked right Cason, "Hi and yes we know it's a witch being involved but that's it so far. We don't know what the others know yet, but do yourself and don't be a smartass about the barrage of information you've given us Cason. It'll be better for everyone around" she replied to him, whilst also giving him a warning.

She soon unfolded her arms and placed one hand on Dean's back to try and be some kind of calming presence to him, but couldn't help but keep glancing at Cason and down toward where his hand was to get an idea of where the hellhound was then back up at Cason and then Dean. "Dean, let's just get into our room in time for when the others arrive. Don't let him get to you" she told him, kissing the side of his head.

If she was perfectly honest, the whole situation was putting her on edge as she didn't know how to react with both Dean and Cason in close proximity as each other and her. She still felt incredibly awkward and guilty for sleeping with Cason in the backseat of her car, which only brought on the whole feeling of needing to constantly make it up to Dean. The other side of her however saw that behind all the bravado, Cason didn't really seem all that bad for a demon and she almost wanted to make it up to him as well for dragging him into her heartache over Dean and Esme.

"Cason why don't you wait outside for the others? I wouldn't think they're that far behind us" she suggested, trying to verbally wave some of white flag to cool everyone down emotionally. Her eyes almost pleading at Cason to not rile Dean up any more than he already is, showing that if their weird situation ever cooled down, she was willing to see Cason for Cason and not for the demon he was.

SAM AND NATALIA WINCHESTER

As Natalia drove back from the school, Sam felt his phone buzz in his pocket as he had earlier put it on it vibrate and silent whilst they were in the school to come across a bit more professional. Pulling his phone out of his blazer pocket, he opened the message seeing that it was from Dean. "Dean and Mika are back at the motel. Says to meet them in their room" he told the girls.

"Not surprising, that's pretty standard by now, isn't it?" Nat replied back at him as she kept her eyes on the road. Considering the impressions she had given everyone (namely Annabeth as she was a newbie to the group), she did actually care about being a good driver and road aware. "Good point, we do usually all congregate in one room or the other if we split up into groups" Sam said, as he typed a reply to Dean telling him they were on their way back and they'd be back in around ten minutes.

----

They finally arrived back at the motel and nat parked where she had done earlier beside Mika's impala and then she killed the engine and removed her key, putting it in her pocket. "Temporary home sweet temporary home" she smirked before that smirk faded and she saw Cason was back. "Oh boy...I wonder how long he's been back" she commented which made Sam look in the direction Natalia was looking in and saw why she said what she did.

"I dunno but if Dean and Mika were back when he was, I'm surprised he's even still breathing" Sam remarked.
Seeing Serena begin to cry in front of her pulled at Kay's heartstrings greatly. "Shh...it's okay" she told her softly, pulling her into her side more and rubbing her arm comfortingly. "please don't be sorry. I'm accepting that any time i leave a house I'm going to be in danger. I've lived with this risk for over two years now. I hate it, but I'm used to looking over my shoulder all the time. It just so happens that this time I wasn't looking around my surroundings and stupidly thought I was safe in Sam's backyard. But you've got nothing to be sorry for" she told her. "No one could have thought I'd have been in trouble out there taking some damn trash out. So please don't feel like you need to be sorry for anything" she added.

Sam looked up at John as she saw him trying to eavesdrop on the conversation in the kitchen, making her discreetly smile slightly into her tea. "I'm sure Kay will tell you what needs to be said when they're done. But something just tells me Kay will know what to say when it comes to helping Serena" Sam told him.
Sipping her hot tea, Kay let Serena open up and tell what she needed to. The idea that she felt she could let herself take it too far for her was quote Jo estly astounding and baffling to Kay. Sure, she had people have her back before, well, had Sam. But the idea that she really did have a good friend having her back was still something she had to learn to welcome. Which she did, it was just an amazing thing to her. She put her mug down and put her arm round her in a sort of side hug, "Serena, we all have those moments, but know you never have to go so far to feel like you've lost a bit of yourself for me. But you are still Serena, the badass woman who has my back, no matter what."she began telling her.

"I know what it's like to see red when someone pisses you off massively. I've been there, before all this crazy world became my own. When I was like fifteen, a kid at school was givi g Sam hell. Told me I shouldn't associate myself with someone who is attracted to other girls. That she was disgusting and sinful and if I side with her I'm just as bad. Of course, it's all bullshit but in that moment, I saw red big time. I stormed that kid so hard I bowled him over to the ground and punched him so hard I broke his nose and gave him the biggest black eye ever." she continued to tell her, "I was so ready to knock him into hospital and I almost did if it wasn't for a teacher Nx Sam pulling me off of him. I ended up being taken to the police station and my folks had to work so hard for me to not get a criminal record and taken to juvi. I felt like an utter monster afterwards because it wasn't like me." she admitted.

"but I got through those feelings with work and Sam by my side and that's gonna be the same for you. You got myself, John, Chas a d Josh all by your side to keep reminding you you're not a bad person. That mage was literally gonna kill me because he was getting power hungry. He was killing Fee from within me. Stopping him was the right thing to do. You're my hero" she finished telling her honestly.
"what he said, she might be a bit quiet to begin with, but you know how to step around someone in that situation" Sam agreed with John, making Kay nod and carefully get up off the couch with a groan. "be right back then" she said to them both, taking her mug with her, she walked into the kitchen and saw how Serena was.

"hey.." she said softly, walking up and sitting on a stool beside Serena, placing her mug down on the counter. "talk to me? What happened?" she asked lightly, not wanting to overstep her mark but still wanted to show that she was concerned about Serena in her tone at the same time.
Kay sat up and took her mug, holding it firmly in her hands and close to her as John spoke to Sam. "She's a bit shaky and trying to calm down from how far she went, but she hasn't said just how far she went. Just that having Kay safe and okay made it worth it" Sam replied in explanation. "maybe I should go to her?" Kay suggested, looking between Sam and John for some kind of clarification if it was a good idea or not.
John's ability to smell tea from another room made Kay smile and snigger slightly. "Of course you can smell the tea from another room." she remarked. "It also wouldn't surprise me if she is worried about her. She's always been that kind of person. She was the one who told our folks to adopt me when my biological dad walked out on me. If it wasn't for her, they wouldn't even have known I got abandoned" she explained.

Sam kept watch over Serena for a moment or two, wanting to make sure she was okay before picking up two other mugs. "I'll be right back hun, just gonna give the others their teas" she told her, and then walked into the living room putting the mugs on the table in front of John and Kay. "here, this'll help with calming you both" she told them.
