Briss was perplexed and almost cross eyed to everyone's lack of challenge to his sudden appearance amongst them. Someone they had no clue about, a total stranger to them and yet they didn't send him death threats or wield weapons in a defensive manner and glare at him to go away. None of that. Instead it seemed like it didn't bother the others at all.

Then two things happened one of the Kil'garen seemed to be abruptly killed by a couple templars he didn't recognize and the 'gob' thing was offered as guide. Briss didn't really agree with this, as he didn't know who this gob realy was. I mean I might know his name is reek but I have absolutely no clue about his history, his family, nothing at all. So it seemed like a trap, like the bombs did.

We were sent on a journey together, except through no choice of our own. Something seems suspicious that now we get a 'helpful little guide' to help us get where we need to go. Briss didn't trust this thing 'gob.' He glared at its back and hissed slightly. The moment this thing starts guiding us, I will ignore it completely. Let the others think what they like of my ignorance.

With that he saw a couple of the group head towards the gates and Briss was so excited about being out of the Citadel that Briss sprinted through those gates without looking back.
I promise I'll get a post up tomorrow.

@RuthenselleI'm not sure if you are talking to Jacky or not.
Here is my perspective.

The story started a month ago.

We haven't even left on the Journey yet.

There is only a handful of us now, we should not be having this problem.

@Gareth I mean...we can't stop you from reading really? And I don't see why you can't read what we write?

Thanks man,
@Gareth Well thanks for your interest and better luck with future rps!

Can I still read what you guys write in this story?
@Gareth That's not how I am reading it. The way I'm reading it is that your character would lie to make the person happy. Your example is very extreme and I'm not quite sure how you came to that conclusion. We can't accept your character until his personality is more consistent.

Yes the example is very extreme.

the reason why that example came up to me, was that I thought you thought that my character was lacking that much confidence.

I disagree with you strongly enough about lacking confidence means that he would lie to someone to avoid telling the truth, that I can't change it. I appreciate your time.

@Gareth That really isn't how the scholarship's work here. It's either you make good grades or you don't get it. He may have quite a bit of support coming from his folks and the townspeople surrounding the school, but if he can't make the grades, he can't make it in the school. If his parents went to the school, they either should have money or have prepared him for a scholarship. As for having something special that would let him, he's a familiar, they're all unique. He could go to any other school to get taught, it doesn't have to be this one. So it's your choice whether he put his nose to the grindstone and studied for that scholarship, or his parents are actually wealthy enough to get him in that way.

I'll have to decide which it is. Whether he studied for it, or his family is rich.

Also, something about Aaron's personality is a little...contradicting. He's a guy that likes to stay in his shell and not show off in front of others...and yet around friends, co-workers, and even out in public, he'll try to pull practical jokes? He lacks confidence, and yet is always able to tell people the truth, even if it's something he knows they won't want to hear? Do you see what I mean?

Yeah, I do.

But I think you are reading too much into certain words.
Lacking confidence, doesn't mean you can't tell the truth even if they dont want to hear it.

The way you are reading lacking confidence it would seem that the character would sit in a closet and lock himself up, until he starved to death just because someone told him to.

@Invader Len Also I wrote that his parents attended the academy and that they told him about their experiences. So it got Aaron excited to go there himself.
