"Thank you, Charles, dear." With a smile, Melissa began drinking from the teacup that was placed before her. It was a particularly hot cup of tea, but that wasn't a problem at all. In fact, Melissa typically preferred warmer beverages over colder ones. Maybe it was the taste. Maybe it was the feel of it in her mouth. Whatever the case, all that mattered was that she was drinking something she enjoyed drinking.
"A maid?" Melissa repeated as she looked over at Charles, who was tracing her body at the moment. "Now, why would I need a maid when I have you, my dear?" She giggled, taking another sip of her tea and changing the channel. The movie she had just been watching was indeed good fun, but Melissa felt like she needed something different for right now. Something a bit more relatable.
The movie Melissa settled on was a fictional story, one done through stop-motion. It seemed to be set in a Victorian era village somewhere in Europe, and included a rather quirky assortment of characters, the two main ones being a normal human and an undead woman and title character. The two seemed to be fiances to each other, which made the decision to put the movie on all the more sensible to Melissa.
"What do you think, Charles, dear?" Melissa grinned, wrapping her arms around her host family. "Please, stay a while and watch the movie with me! It will be fun for both of us, I'm sure!~" She giggled, tightening her hug on Charles.
