Marshall’s style is very clean and comfortable, while still being fashion forward. He wears his uniform to the school’s code, even going so far as to iron everything fresh in the morning. The only deviation that he makes is that he occasionally substitutes the neck tie with a fashionable scarf instead. On casual fridays and the weekends, Marshall’s everyday style looks a little something like this.

Marshall Everley is one of the school’s most notable thespians. He lives for the stage, whether it be singing, dancing, acting, or a combination of all three. Along with that hobby comes his flamboyant personality. Marshall is cheerful, colorful, and friendly. He lives his life openly and passionately, and he has ever since he moved to California in his middle school years. Prior to the end of Sophomore year, he wasn’t the type to ever make enemies. He broke up with Skylar Powers last May, and no one in the school really knows why. They were the school’s hottest gay power couple, and now? Now… Marshall avoids all of the SISters like the plague, the friendships seemingly ending with the relationship. Now he mostly hangs out with his fellow theater kids, where his light can shine outside of the shadow of SIS.

“I wasn’t born in San Francisco, my sister and I are actually from New York. Yes, the city, NYC, the place of legends and ridiculous tourism industry. It is just as fabulous as it is made out to be, trust me. The glitz, the glamour, the city that never sleeps because there are so many AWESOME things to do. Not to mention it being the home of Broadway, uhm, hello? I wish I could have been there as a teenager, I mean SanFran isn’t so bad, it suits me, but I think I will definitely return to my roots someday.
ANYWAY… where was I? Oh, right, I was born in another state, as was my older sister, Martelle. My father, his name’s Roman, he has a high paying civil engineering job, so naturally, we were born and raised in the heart of the city — Manhattan. Yes, I said he has a job there, meaning he still has it. As you can see, I no longer live with him, and that is because my parents are divorced. Handsome ol’ man Roman is a lying cheat and he bedded up with a harlot named Victoria, while still married to my lovely, wonderful, super awesome mom, Anne.
His loss, mom is the greatest and she deserves better than my dad’s divided affections. I mean, don’t get me wrong, he’s an okay father — I don’t think that he likes that I am gay very much, that’s whatever — but he was a shitty husband. My momma deserves the hottest piece of pool boy ass that SF has to offer after the emotional turmoil that she went through.
So, to continue my story, we’ve lived in sunny California for years now. Mom immediately dove back into doing the work that she loves, which is real estate, and she’s best damned agent in all of San Francisco. No, I’m not biased, she’s the best, check our bank account if you don’t believe me. Yeah yeah, a lot of our money also comes from Roman’s support — like I said, he’s an okay dad, I’ll give him that, but we’re loaded because both of our parents are wealthy and successful in their own rights. While Mom was doing her thing, my Dad had two kids with Vicky, Roger Jr. and Virginia, the former being a direct result of the affair scandal and the latter was born after they got married.
My sister and I go on exciting and extravagant vacations with Roman and the step-relatives sometimes, last year it was Bali, so we get to see him frequently even though we live a whole country apart. On the topic of my sister, she is kind of everything to me? I love her a lot. Now that I think of it, maybe spending so much time with two women is why I’ve come to express my feminine side so much? Who cares, it’s 2019, and I will live as PROUD and free as I want to be. Embrace the gay, my friends. Embrace it. Free hugs to all — except for Sky!
Anyway, here at Marble Heights, you’ll see my face around the halls, prowling for some hope of a fairy tale romance in this barren wasteland of a high school. True love can’t just exist in my books, I deserve a shirtless man who will sweep me off my feet and straight into bed too. No, I’m not thirsty… okay, fine, I’m a little parched, if we’re being totally transparent here. You will also see my face on the stage. Theater is my life, I’m a thespian to the core. I’ve played a lead role in every school production, both musicals and plays, since elementary school. I sing, I dance, and I have my sights set on Broadway. You will see my name in lights someday, I’m the star of the show.”

The saltiness towards SIS is a facade. Marshall avoids them, not because he hates them, but because it hurts to be around them. The truth is, even though he was the one that broke things off with Skylar, he’s still hung up on him. Marshall won’t admit it to himself, but the reason he broke up with Sky was because of his own insecurities regarding Sky’s polyamory. Sky had promised to stay faithful, and he had, but Marshall’s paranoia about cheaters because of his father, paired with feeling like he could never be enough to truly please Skylar as only one person… it got to be too much. He can’t help but feel like he threw away his only chance at a happily ever after, but he’s too prideful to take it back now. So instead… he’ll have to settle for stolen glances full of longing… and, of course, secretly sleeping with older men he met through his summer job. But, the summer is over, so... now what?
