good morning/afternoon/5'oclock somewhere to any and all of you! i'm grim (if you didn't see my intro post) and i'm here for some easy, simple roleplayin'! yeehaw

hey, here's a little more about me, as if you're going to be my roleplay partner, i'm expecting you to at least know a little about me to understand a few things, and vice versa!

i'm currently 21 years old, working two jobs (part-time in an office, part-time server at waffle house), and trying to once again attempt balancing my life. my goal is to get a full-time job by the end of the year that pays well enough for me to move out, and i'm working my ass off to get that. i have 3 dogs that i adore, a boyfriend that's strangely endearing, and dozens of ocs kept in the back of my mind constantly and that i love talking about.

so with that out of the way, let's get to some do's and don'ts of roleplaying with me...

Do's
1. Interact with me! talk to me about your silly characters, plotlines that you have in mind, or just generally how your day is going. i may be busy with my shit in real life but i'll always care about whatever you have to say to me. i adore everyone who is meaningfully interacting with me.
2. Write as much as you want! listen, i am NOT a stickler about length beyond 3 paragraphs minimum. go absolutely apeshit in a post, throw in some random shit, do whatever you want. the longer the post, the juicier the details for me, and i absolutely love sinking my teeth into a post that has so much love and passion written into it.
3.  Throw some references at me! i will be throwing so many art/image references for shit, regardless of it's a scene, song lyrics, music for a scene... just toss it at me, i love seeing it all. of course, don't steal or use art that isn't yours

Don'ts
1. Be afraid to make occasional spelling/grammar mistakes! i'm being so serious. i know some are sticklers about it and if you are, this place ain't for you. as long as i can understand what the hell is going on in your post, you're doing great, sweetie.
2. Give me the bare minimum of your posts! if i see a one-liner as a single post, i will automatically close the message on your ass. i don't play around about my posting length--i get that some days are rough, for sure, but there's absolutely zero reason why you should be coming to me with a single one-liner post. get that OUT OF HERE.
3. Come to me with AI or Chat.gpt shit! there's nothing i hate more than AI writing in replacement of human writing. i'm so serious when i say i won't hesitate to toss the whole conversation into the garbage. don't send me that shit.

as a general side-note, i won't be roleplaying with anyone under the age of 18! makes me uncomfortable personally. thanks!

Daniel is a detective searching for the truth behind it all, and, in doing so, accidentally summons an Eldritch being from another world into his own. Now, with the help of someone otherworldly who is, too, in search of something, Daniel must solve this case and return whatever being he summoned back to their home. 

This aims to be a mystery-esque roleplay mixed in with Lovecraftian lore, body horror (obviously, there's Lovecraftian lore here) and gore mentions, as well as some unsavory sensitive/triggering topics, such as abuse and alcoholism to name just a few, so be advised if you're interested in this one! 

You would play as The Being (Person B), who can be any gender identity really. Daniel does lean towards men, though, if that helps at all. They will have to be some sort of fragment of an Eldritch being, such as Cthulu or Hastur, and really, you can go ham with whichever entity you'd like to use. You don't have to be a total whizz with Lovecraftian lore (hell, I'm not) in order to roleplay this, and we can help each other along 100%!
