"What the?!" Yamerugo gasped as he saw a building seemingly disintegrate. Anyone that had a quirk that could create destruction on such a scale would be terrifying. It was times like these that not having a license was ideal. Certainly even Enz knew what would happen if any of them charged after a villain without one. Expulsion, possible jail time, etc... Even in this society drenched in super human abilities, vigilantes were still seen as criminals.

A quick search for the news bulletin on his phone revealed that a number of pro-heroes were handling the situation already, so there wasn't any reason to consider getting involved.
@Peaceless I see them peek in here on the occasion, so they're probably just busy.

Rheese's first battle in the gym had gone decently. Of course, he owed that to Minior. Normal types usually countered rock types with common fighting moves, a method that wasn't so readily available against a rock/flying type. Wooper and Cottonee hadn't pulled much weight, despite Rheese's best efforts to encourage them. Obviously his opponent had more skill, but the lack of an availiable counter had decided the entire battle. The student had attempted to chide him for winning on type advantage alone, but those words fell on deaf ears as Rheese watched the conclusion of Sophia's battle.

He didn't say a word, if he had it probably would have done more harm. Instead he pretended he didn't see her loss. After healing his Pokemon he came back and struggled to figure out something he could say or do, but he wasn't exactly great at that kind of thing.

So, Sophia. Do you have a strategy? his question to Sophia from earlier replayed in his head. Any reference to it now would sound mocking, so clearly he'd have to avoid the topic.

"Those are all good questions, Aedre. In fact, plenty of Pokemon share a similar mystery of origin. Another question that bugs me though...How can a Honedge hatch from an egg? I mean certainly there are stranger occurrences in this world of ours, but the breeding of ghost pokemon as a whole is an oddity with little to no explanation." Rachel said curiously. "I certainly hope that your stay is extended though, it's always so nice to meet trainers with an affinity for Pokemon research."

"Of course I can!" Rachel said as she pulled out her map. "Anything you want to know about specifically?"
"World class sniping, I guess with some work..." Ian said with a yawn. He knew what Atlas had intended, but the last fight had definitely highlighted a serious weakness. While even professionals have trouble sniping while under fire, it wasn't an excuse. He needed to be able to make snapshots while on the move. As things were, he was almost completely useless against the two enemy snipers. On a team without many long range fighters, he would need to compensate heavily for that.

When Gurevich said something about a lack of battle damage being nothing to be proud of, Ian glared slightly. Every bit of damage sustained was a shortcoming, a mistake to be avoided the next time around. Certainly those who remained undamaged by avoiding combat weren't exactly assets to any team, but anyone that willingly allowed their GEAR to be damaged could be judged the same way. Perhaps as a long range combatant, Ian's views were slightly skewed.

"I'm up for going to the lounge for a few. Afterwards, though, I should head home and get some shut-eye." He said with a nod. It was tempting to just decline and leave right away, but he owed Bill for letting him on the team. To that end, he was going to try and keep his almost narcoleptic tendencies minimized.
Yes
@OtomostheCrazy

It already is Oto, it already is.
@Noxx I know you haven't been on in quite a some time, but we're always glad to have you here.

And so they were at the gym once more. This time hopefully somebody would be leaving with a badge. Rheese looked at Minior's Pokeball with some hesitation. Type-wise the pokemon would be incredibly useful, stat-wise as well. It was just...Minior and any notion of 'control' had been a tough mix so far.

Of course Sophia had already said something about the gym battle being easy, which wasn't out of the ordinary. Honestly, Rheese wasn't sure if he should envy that confidence or be worried about it. He sighed, slightly annoyed with himself for doubting his chances. They needed to train anyway, it wasn't as though he would be battling Lan straight off.

"So, Sophia. Do you have a strategy?" He asked purposefully avoiding any mention of the earlier match.

"I'm glad to hear that you feel that way Amber!" Rachel said with a grin. "I actually only took my job as a gym leader so I could have full access to the entire region. Speaking of gym leaders, I should probably ask if any of you are taking the regional challenge?"

"If so, I promise not to hold anything back if we battle one day!"

@LuckyBlackCat I may post just to get us moving forward.

"With two support heroes for parents I guess I could just call it busy." Yamerugo said with a sigh. " Every time there was an incident my mother and father would both drop everything and I wouldn't see them for hours. I don't really miss it much, especially since I'm an only child so other than a few friends back home there's not much for me there." Yame said with a shrug. "If I had to go back, I'm sure I'd hear something or other about how disappointed my parents are that I didn't join the support course. I don't think they'll ever understand that I don't want to be locked into some role just because they wanted it." Yamerugo said slightly dejected.

Suddenly he was being dragged much more violently than before as Enz was shouting about someone she was calling 'Ototo-kun.' For the life of him, he couldn't figure out who in their class could have such a name. She was clearly dragging him towards Marius and Conner though, so it had to be one of them. Now that she had said something about getting help with her quirk, it wouldn't make sense for Conner to be involved. For a moment he wanted to snicker about Marius's nickname, but he decided against it as suicide wasn't really on his list. "What kind of help are you looking for?" Yame asked, slightly curious.
