My tentative character. I'll post my other concepts if I decide to change my mind. Still a work in progress but comments are well appreciated.Name: Bellamy
Appearance:
Height/Weight: 5’11”/165 lbs
Age: Nineteen
Personality:
Home Island/Sea: South Blue
History: Bellamy was born and raised in small village located in South Blue. As a child he used to hang around a pirate crew called the “Hellhound Pirates”. The leader of the crew, Viktor Coyote, was a ruthless pirate. Bellamy would hear him tell stories of murdering other pirate crews, and burning down ships. Other people in the village hated Viktor, and thought of him as merciless savage. Bellamy on the other hand, admired the man. He always dreamed of becoming a famous pirate, and venturing into the New World.
Bellamy would always follow Viktor and his crew around. At first they saw the boy as a nuisance, but as time passed, Viktor grew to admire his tenacity. Eventually they would share stories of the sea with Bellamy and teach him how to handle himself in combat. As he grew older, Bellamy started to become heavily influenced by the crew. He laughed when they would speak about killing other pirates, and he even grew to hate the marines just as they did. One day Bellamy asked Viktor if he could join the crew and go out to sea with them. He was now fourteen and craved to see the world as a pirate. Viktor laughed at him, he told Bellamy that the world was too dangerous and having a kid on board would just slow him down. Viktor then told the boy that he would be heading for the New World soon and this was the last time they would see each other. This killed Bellamy on the inside, it was as if he was watching his dream of becoming a pirate fade away.
The next day Bellamy came back to the tavern to see that the Hellhound Pirates and Viktor were gone. Bellamy then ran quickly towards the docks and spotted the Hellhound’s ship sailing away in the distance. Feeling abandoned, Bellamy headed back to the tavern with tears running down his face. Once he entered the tavern though, the bartender handed him a box. The bartender told that Viktor left this as a parting gift for Bellamy. The box had the Hellhound emblem engraved into, and once he opened it, Bellamy found a strange looking fruit inside. After taking a bite of it, the bartender told Bellamy that this fruit was the Buki Buki no Mi, a devil fruit.
Now, Bellamy is nineteen and he has become proficient with the use of his new abilities. He had decided to sail the four seas, hoping to find determined allies that will travel the seas with him. His goals are to conquer the New World, find One Piece, and one day, find Viktor and the Hellhound Pirates in order to see them one last time.
Abilities/Racial Traits:
- Buki Buki no Mi (Weapon Weapon Fruit) - The Buki Buki no Mi is a Paramecia type Devil Fruit that gives the user the ability to change their body parts into weapons, which lets the user become a Full-Body Weapon Human.

Your character is accepted on the condition you let me know if your apart of a crew or a loner.
Name:Sancho F. Graham
Epithet:Sancho Of The Golden Fleece.
Kingslayer
Appearance:Sancho is a decently attractive young man, standing at average height and with an athlethic build. He's got blonde hair with icy white tips that are all natural, his hair is long and spikey, usually tied into a ponytail. He dresses well, in expensive and high-quality fabrics, his style something of a cross between a nobleman and a bandit. Notably, he wears a blue armband on his left arm.
Height/Weight:183 CM, 66 Kilograms.
Age:19
Personality:Intelligent, authoritarian. He believes in the power of a chain of command, and the irony of believing in laws and rules, but choosing to be a criminal is not lost on him. He's a very driven young man, putting his all into everything he does, such he's prone to success. He's not afraid to fight, but he prefers to avoid fighting if at all possible. A bit of a diplomat and businessman, showing up how he was raised, yet also an excellent soldier, warrior and commander.
Home Island/Sea:Shira Kingdom, Grandline.
History:Grew up rich in the Shinra Kingdom, his father an adviser to the King, his father and the king were long time best friends. He got a younger sister when he was 3 years old, Nora. Nora and him were thick as thieves, looking out for each other. He was the brains, she was the passion. She wanted them to see the world, to adventure. Sancho wanted to become a businessman, someone of influence.
Nora ended up joining the military, but Sancho couldn't let her do that on her own, he had to protect her, so he too joined. The two showed certain skill, and was put in the care of the High General, Granticus The Fourth, thanks to their father's connections. Sancho and Nora always had this discussion that Sancho felt like he was meant to do more than to serve in an army. He was meant to be special. Which is why, when they were 17 and 14, respectively, Nora gave Sancho a gift. It was a fruit.
Sancho ate it, knowing that it would give him special powers. It did, since then he became one of the most successful soldiers in the entire kingdom, quickly climbing the ranks, and taking his sister with them. They were dispatched out of the country, to make deals with the neighboring islands.
During this, they were caught in a storm, and their ship capsized. Sancho washed up on a nearby shore, spending half a year looking for his sister, to no avail. Returning home, he took up a position as a military commander in the Shinra army. Deciding to carry on Nora's adventurous spirit. Home again, after a trip to the North Blue as a diplomatic escort, Sancho walked into the royal chamber, only to find the king murdered, and soldiers coming for him.
He was framed, a wanted man and forced to be a criminal, he decided to take the criminal underworld for himself, and make it something better than it had been.
Fruit:The Wool Wool Fruit; Paramecia
Sancho is a wool-y human, with the power of generating large amounts of wool in a very short span of time. He can shape and control the wool in whatever way he want, going as far as to affect the atomic properties of the wool, increasing it's density or other properties.
Fighting style:Being trained by the High General of the Shira Kingdom, Granticus IV, a man who commanded respect from even people such as the high-ranking Marine officers that passed through the Island. Granticus was a swordsman and hand-to-hand combatant, using his physical strength to dismantle his foes with great ferocity. Sancho does not share that amount of brute force, relying on momentum and agility to deliver powerful blows. His fighting style revolves around dodging, blocking and demolishing his foes with an attack, weather it's drawing a dagger and stabbing someone with it, or if it's slinging himself across town on a Wool-Line, gaining enough momentum to destroy his foe. If forced to hand-to-hand, he's a decent fighter, grappling and kicking are his fortes.
Ship Positions:Captain of the Golden Fleece Pirates. Sancho's dream with being a pirate is to become the king, not for personal wealth or recognition, but to be put in a position where he can command as many powerful warriors as possible, so he can create a new institution, one free from corruption. A form of law enforcement better than the Marines, to bring peace to the world.
Finding his sister is also pretty high on the priority list.
(Provided Ryo doesn't scream at me, in that case, I'll change Sancho's position.)
Bounty:9,000,000, wanted for Regicide.
As well as several other infractions, such as resisting arrest, assault and stealing a vessel.
Before I accept this character , I need for you to decide who the Captain is. Also 9,000,000 is too high of a bounty. The limit for starting characters is 5,000,000 berries. Your history honestly isn't worth the bounty your asking for. Your history needs to reflect your wanted bounty. I would suggest based off of your history 500,000 berries seems more fit. You didn't exactly tell how important this king was or how this affected the higher officials.
Samehana
{Height/Weight}
5’11”/”You’ve got some nerve asking that”
{Age}
Twenty-eight
{Personality}
As a generally level-headed and often playful individual, Samehana can come off as being more approachable than her appearance might suggest. Samehana has a habit of being a little flirtatious, though at the same time she’s also quite snarky, especially with her crewmates. The one thing she gets the most excited about is facing opponents who can test her skills, a fact that sometimes causes her to drag out fights longer than needed for maximum satisfaction. Those who seem to have the potential to become stronger intrigue her in particular, and she’ll often make note of them in the hopes of future encounters.
{Home Island/Sea}
Fishman Island
{History}
From a young age, Samehana knew she wanted to become a martial artist. As a little fishgirl, she often watched as her father’s students at the Fishman Dojo trained vigorously in the art of combat. She idolized both her father and her older brother, Samejin, and it wasn’t long before she begged her father to train her in Fishman Karate as well. While her father, Samemoku, was hesitant at first, Samehana was persistent. Before long, she had broken through her father’s wall of denial and began training at the dojo. Both Samejin and Samemoku were impressed by how quickly Samehana caught on to the finer points of Fishman Karate, to the point that they labeled her a prodigy. While Samehana trained happily, she quickly surpassed her brother who had been training for years up until she took up Fishman Karate.
Samemoku began to regret his choice somewhat once Samehana had begun to blossom into womanhood. Her shapely figure and pretty face attracted no small amount of suitors and would-be students who wanted to win her favour. It took the elder fishman quite a bit of willpower not to stop her from training in order to shelter her from those who would come to take her hand in marriage. At the time, it took Samehana a while to catch on, but she eventually turned it into an opportunity for competition. In fact, before setting off from Fishman Island, she had a sort of “contest” running where whoever could best her in combat would be worthy of her hand. Of course, she never lost.
With Samejin in line to eventually be the next head of the Fishman Dojo, Samehana didn’t have much reason to stick around other than perhaps settling into complacency. Instead, Samehana decided that she would explore the world outside of Fishman Island, hopefully encountering greater fighters than those she fought in her homeland.
{Fruit}
N/A
{Abilities/Race Traits}
As a Fish(wo)man, Samehana possesses immense physical prowess. Though, Samehana is considered monstrous even among Fishmen. Combined with her mastery of both Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku Haki, Samehana is a formidable fighter. It is her proficiency in Busoshoku Haki that earned her the title “The Black Shark”, due to her ability to harden her entire body with Haki. Also of note is her cooking ability, which is literally only in the area of seafood. Everything else she makes turns out awful.
{Fighting style}
Samehana happens to be a high-level master of Fishman Karate, which she often combines with moves she’s picked up from various martial artists she’s encountered during her travels. Samehana typically tries hard not to kill her opponents if it isn’t necessary, a luxury she can afford on account of her immense speed and power.

Name:
Joe "Slow Hand" Church
Height/Weight:
6'0" (1.88m) / 195 lbs (88.4kg)
Age:
35
Personality:
A man of both pride and humility that prefers to be addressed by his surname, Church. Ever calm in even the most dire of situations, Church is a tough man to crack. He can always think clearly and is never blinded by his emotions, though he is a man of compassion and is known to respect the emotions and problems of those around him. While he is certainly direct and to-the-point he is hardly rude or mean, just straightforward. While Church won't go out of his way to help people he doesn't know, under most circumstances, he has been known to break that pattern for children in distress. He wouldn't call himself a savior or a hero of any kind, considering he isn't above killing his opponents in combat and is particularly geared to do so. Those that cross "Slow Hand" Church won't be met with a devastating fury, but they will be met with a precise and practical demise. For a man that has walked among both sinners and saints he has embodied a mixture of the two ideals. He saves what he can and kills what he has to. And he's always vigilant, at the ready to decide which it will be.
Home Island/Sea:
Copper Island, South Blue
History:
Born on the unassuming Copper Island, host to a large port town that made its money on exports from mining bronze in the mountains, Joe Church wasn't raised with very many expectations. His father was a miner and it was assumed he would become one too. It wasn't until he was already a teenager when a large pirate crew on its way to the Grand Line paid the island a visit. The port town was almost burned to the ground and many innocent people were slaughtered as the city was ransacked. Young Joe Church fought valiantly alongside his father but it was largely in vain. The pirates eventually retreated after looting most of the city, leaving devastation and misery behind them.
Angry with the turnout, Joe vowed to protect his home from any future raids. It seemed the Marines weren't nearly competent enough to keep Copper Island safe, as their small base was among the ruins after the battle, so Joe took it in his own hands. He took the remaining guns from the base and started a militia with his father. After establishing a rudimentary defense force he sailed away to train at the infamous Karate Island. He spent two years training there, becoming more disciplined and focused as well as stronger. By the time he returned to his hometown it had already been rebuilt and was mostly back to its former glory.
Two months later the same pirate crew from before returned, having had their fill at the Grand Line and decided to go back to the South Blue. But this time they were prepared. The new Marine base was once again useless, but Joe Church and his ragtag militia didn't just push back the pirates but also soundly defeated them and completely prevented civilian casualties. This angered the pirates, who called themselves the Firefly Pirates, and they struck again even harder the next day. This time they took lives, including Joe's father.
Once the battle was done and the pirates fled to the safety of the sea once again, Joe was a changed man. He had hoped he could protect his family and his home but it seemed that simply protecting them wasn't good enough. With the awakening of his Haki and a new fuel for vengeance, Joe sailed after the crew on a small boat in an attempt to finish them off for good. When they discovered he followed them they sunk his boat with cannonfire, though that did little to stop him as he caught up by swimming and climbed aboard anyways.
The next morning he sailed their ship back into port, having killed each and every one of the pirates on board. He felt ashamed for what he did but knew it was a necessity. To prevent the further destruction they would've caused. While he was greatly appreciated by his people for what he had done for them over the years, he felt as if he no longer belonged on Copper Island anymore. That something within him had changed and that he had to leave. The day he sailed away from Copper Island was the day he decided he was no longer Joe Church, but instead just Church. An homage to his father, who he believed the family name was greatly owed to.
It's been fifteen years since he started his journey. Church has come a long way, gaining himself a reputation in the South Blue as a force to be reckoned with. For the longest time he operated solo, using minimal navigational skills to get around. His wanderlust led him to many places of danger and hostility but he always came out unscathed and for the better. Many who met him had come to consider him a great man by the time he departed, but many would also beg to differ for the bodies he would leave behind on a bad day. Church only considered himself "a man", believing that morality wasn't his forte but he didn't want to abandon it completely. In time he eventually became a part of a pirate crew, something he had initial difficulty coming to terms with considering his history with pirates. But it didn't take long for Church to enforce his ways onto the crew, largely avoiding the more atrocious aspects of piracy in favor of honor and respect. Slow Hand is a famous name in the South Blue, but Church himself still is yet to find whatever it is he's been searching for. It wasn't fame or fortune, but one thing has led to another and here he is on the path to both.
Abilities/Race Traits:
Kenbonshoku Haki - Observation Haki, also known as Mantra, that Church is very skilled in using. This assists him greatly in his marksmanship, allowing his already supernatural capability to skyrocket into something almost mythical. He can shoot targets without even looking or pick them off from extreme ranges. By predicting where they are going to be and tracking their movements Church can dominate an enemy without them ever knowing what hit them. He is always vigilant and he always hits his mark.
Incredible Marksmanship - Church's primary method of attack revolves around using revolvers. While his precision aiming, insane reflexes, and supernatural understanding of the battlefield mean he doesn't need very many bullets to deal with many enemies, Church still plays it safe and keeps five loaded guns on him. Two on the left side of his waist, one on his right, and one under each arm. All of them six-shooters, meaning he can fire 30 bullets before being forced to reload anything. His ammunition consists primarily of Seastone bullets.
Respectable Strength - Coming from the South Blue, it isn't a surprise that Church can handle himself without any guns. His quickdraw reflexes are phenomenal but he lacks pure speed and agility. Of course he also makes up for that by being much stronger than the average Marine, being just as capable of punching his way out of a situation as he is shooting his way out. A blow to the noggin and you'd almost wish he shot you instead, though realistically you'd probably be unconscious.
Fighting style:
First and foremost, Church is a gunslinger. His speed and precision make him a force to be reckoned with, being capable of clearing a room of enemies in split-seconds on the dollar. Combined with his Haki he makes a good argument to perhaps be one of the best shooters around. It is his greatest asset, but it isn't his only asset. More often than not, Church prefers to save his bullets for a rainy day and use his fists and feet to solve his problems non-lethally. He isn't the fastest man but he is far from the weakest, being able to take on multiple opponents at once using a style reminiscent of kickboxing that focuses on hard, heavy hits to defeat foes in one or two powerful blows. If push comes to shove and the situation escalates to one of life or death he won't hesitate to draw his weapons. The beauty of his guns is that they are effective in close-quarters situations as well as at a distance, making him a versatile fighter that isn't afraid to engage with most enemies.

Name: Anaru Kahurangi
Appearance:
Hybrid Zoan Form. (Would have been more human-y, if I could find a different picture.)
Height/Weight: 6'3, 200 lbs.
Age: Thirty.
Personality: Anaru is often described as, unflinching, arguing him would be like arguing with a brick wall, he doesn't listen. because he believes that his own way is the right way, which gave his way of justice the nickname from his subordinates 'Rock Solid Justice'. oddly enough despite his stone cold exterior, and his stubborn-ness, Anaru is actually a very innocent, and sweet man on the inside, until recently he believed that no marine could ever be corrupt. he has an intense love for dogs, which factors into his soft side, but he was known to destroy an entire building (accidentally according to him.) for mistreating a small dog. Anaru likes to live life with a hearty laugh, and friends around him, however when around pirates, who mock the Marines openly, he practically transforms, even his subordinates and friends in the Marines dislike being around him in this state, he practically goes berserk, flipping out and losing all semblance of a plan, or intelligence. of course, people often consider him thick-headed regardless, for good reason as he's quite a dunce most of the time.
Home Island/Sea: Maunga Island, In the West Blue.
History:Living as a poor child in Maunga Island, was nobody's dream, it was a miner island, made for harvesting its rich resources, but eventually a town was made, to make living less challenging. Maunga island was a massive mountain you see, and no tunnels were made, Miners scaled the mountain with no rope, and dug the resources out of the mountain itself. that alone made the island incredibly dangerous, but the fact that all the miners were slaves or ex-slaves, 'hired' by the world government made them all incredibly angry. imagine their confusion and frustration when an orphaned child showed up in the village one day, the found out it was the son of a slave woman, who committed suicide after he was born, so no one would know he was the son of a slave, she hoped that doing that would give him a better life. the miners, feeling for the woman's plight, decided to raise the child, as a miner. that child's name was Anaru, and for most of his life he was content, he took to the rocks like he was a mountain goat, and made friends with some of the jollier miners, but that changed when he turned ten. it was storming that day, a horrid storm, nobody dared to climb the mountain, but they had to, otherwise they wouldn't collect enough resources, and the world government would be furious, little Anaru, a ten year old boy with more rocks in his head than brains, decided that HE could collect the greenstone (the most valuable resource on the island.) and set off. that was a bad idea, all he can remember of that day was the flash of lightning, the shattering of stone, and too much red. what really happened wasn't much different, Anaru managed to make it to the greenstone supply, but so did pirates who docked under the cover of storm, Anaru was taken captive, and the miners set off to rescue him. they were all killed, and Anaru was next, until a lone marine was slammed into the rocks, his dinghy along with him. this marine proceeded to stand up, and beat all of the pirates, he ruffled Anaru's hair, and LAUGHED, during all of this horror, he managed to laugh, that effected Anaru more than he thought possible. the marine set out the next day, and Anaru with him, to join the navy, and become a great hero.
Fruit: Saru Saru No Mi Model: Siverback Gorilla. This fruit gives Anaru insane arm strength, along with enhanced senses, and dangerous teeth to match, his hybrid state is his most dangerous form, where he looks similar to a Sasquatch according to his marine friends, the physical power of his hybrid state, was so strong that he earned the nickname 'King Of Apes'. Anaru found this fruit during his misadventures as a marine, and ate it because of a dare. Anaru has gotten great control of this fruit since that day, and often uses it in combination with his Life Return, to slim down the hybrid state, or use its copious amount of hair as a weapon.
Abilities/Race Traits: Anaru is incredibly sturdy, thanks to his time as a child living, and climbing up the most dangerous mountain in the west blue. Anaru often fancies himself a singer, none of the people who have heard him sing agree. Anaru's main strengths lie in his insane durability, and freakish physical strength, he is able to lift boulders without using his devil fruit, and has been hit with a cannonball, and despite suffering injuries, he wasn't even pushed back.
Fighting style: Anaru's primary style is called. "Sturdy Mountain Dance." a style combining mountain survival, with his sturdiness and great power.
Dancing Mountain Nail: Anaru can 'nail' his hand/elbow into most solid surfaces, to keep from falling, to use it as a weapon of some sort, or other uses. Anaru developed this technique to not fall to his death, during his time as a miner.
Dancing Mountain Hammer: after using Dancing Mountain Nail, with his elbow, Anaru can punched the nailed in arm's fist with his spare fist, and shatter whatever it is he has pierced with 'Nail'. the destructive power here alone is impressive, but the destroyed object is often broken so fast and powerfully, that shrapnel is flung away from Anaru.
Dancing Mountain Nail Gun: Anaru can send a flurry of elbows/punches, that use air pressure to strike the opponent. many people consider this technique a reverse fishman karate, using air instead of water, Anaru doesn't know what fishman karate is, but it sounds impressive that he made a reverse version, so he goes along with it.
Sturdy Mountain Green Drill: Arguably Anaru's most dangerous technique, Anaru leaps into the air using all his strength, and rotates around in the air, using Dancing Mountain Nail Gun to propel himself, Anaru then divebombs his opponent, his body's strength, velocity and rotation, make him a living drill.
(I intend to add more techniques to this style, but if I post more techniques, it'd be for Anaru to learn later.)
Anaru also learned the fighting style Life Return, from the marine who took him in, Anaru can only currently control already existing hair, and slim down his Hybrid Form. the reason he cannot use it to full potential, is because he absolutely HATES meditation.
Ship Positions: Marine Lieutennat (He would have been promoted more, if he wasn't such a stubborn person, which often makes his superiors frustrated.)
Accepted. Post in character sheets.
