Ever make a mistake so bad, that it hurts every time you just think of it? Ever wish you could go back in time and fix everything so you didn't hurt the one who matters most? Yeah, me too.

Bio

Do not go gentle into that good night
By: Dylan Thomas

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

"Well, we can't really end the world on our own. I hope. But we're powerful, and sadly powerful beings usually aren't born without something terrible being on the horizon." He said softly, a tinge of sadness hidden in his voice as it threatened to betray his inner emotions on the subject. Yet as soon as it had shown itself, Ryland was brushing off the feeling and forcing a carefree expression back on his features. "However, we do get our own cabins. I think that's worth the trade-off." He joked with a half-smile. "Either way, Rosie will get everything cleared up tomorrow so no need to worry about that sort of stuff. We can head over to see her after breakfast tomorrow, yeah?" He added as she said that she wouldn't need any help unpacking.

Then she turned to thank him, and Ryland caught himself looking for a moment at how the girl looked in the slight darkness of the light. He hoped it wasn't overly obvious he was checking her out as she thanked him for everything. The boy giving a small shrug in response. "I rather enjoyed getting to know you, Kiera. Sorry about the whole... everybody staring at you after you got claimed thing. I'll uh, get out of your hair now unless you need something else. Feel free to stop by my cabin or just throw something at me if you need something. Hope to see ya around camp." He said as he gave her a friendly wave before making his way towards the door to the cabin to leave. Stepping outside, he allowed himself a long breath of the night air before making his way back towards his own cabin. He needed to be up rather early tomorrow to go visit Rosie, else she would give him shit for bringing somebody by while she was trying to paint. Again.

Waiting until a decision was made regarding Amelia's bag, Fumiko considered the store and wondered Riley had chosen a store that didn't seem that overly top quality. She and Fumi both had money they could have spent easily at one of the top stores. Though her face soon colored moments later as she remembered Amelia. Riley probably wasn't trying to embarrass the poor girl. Immediately the Pop Star felt overly guilt of being such a prude for a second. Though she quickly wiped the look from her face and gave a nod and smile towards Riley. "Yeah, they look really cute." She commented on the clothes, immediately leading the way over towards the store.

Not long after entering, Fumiko already found a crop top and short skirt that seemed to match beautifully together. Both a light purple in color as she held them up to the other two. "Whatta you guys think?" She asked happily, wanting to hear their opinions on how cute she would look in the clothes. After all, Fumiko knew that she was a beautiful woman offhand. However, hearing it from others never really hurt. Especially when it was coming from somebody she trusted to give her honest opinions on such subjects with her.

He helped the girl pack her things though that took like no time at all. He quickly enough after noticed he still held her hand and let go of it quickly with a deep blush. "Sorry." He mumbled out before turning to wait outside of her cabin until she came out to be led to the Poseidon cabin. As they walked through the darkness, Ryland stayed a little close to Kiera, subconsciously trying to prevent her from feeling embarrassed after the whole situation. For a few moments after her question he remained quiet. "Tomorrow I wanna bring you to see the Oracle. She's a good friend of mine, and has the spirit of Delphi inside her. I want her to see if she knows why you came to us. Unfortunately us children of the Big Three usually only show up before some big disaster. I want her to comfort that thiught away." He said quietly as they walked.

Eventually they came up on a cabin painted green, well decorated with various aspects of the sea and inside a few bunks as well as a fountain spewing water. Fortunately enough for Kiera, it was also the closest to the beach. Ryland led her inside and gestured around the cabin. "Welcome to your cabin, daughter of Posedion. You're free to decorate however you want, just don't move the fountain. Its a gift from your dad to the previous guy who lived here, Percy. It lets you send and recieve Iris Messages. Do you need any help unpacking?" He said as the two stood alone in the cabin.

The girl looked up from her phone with a brilliant smile towards the two that came out of the store. Giving a friendly wave she tilted her head slightly to look at the bag Amelia had. "Get some things you like?" She asked the girl with a small smile, then turned her attention towards Riley after Amelia had responded. She put a single finger to her lips, thinking for a few moments before pulling it away and giving a small shrug. "Well... I don't know what's around here. What's good for shopping? Ya know what I like, clothes and such." She said with a small smile once more.

Slipping her phone into her bag she moved to stand between the two. Making sure to keep her sunglasses and hat on, hoping to stay hidden from the paparazzi or her fans. So far she had yet to be recognized, which seemed pretty lucky to her. The last thing she particularly wanted was some surprise like that ruining a day out with her friends. That or some freaky thing like drifting out of her own damn body again, that was really scary in particular.

Really? He wondered if that was some cruel sense of fate. Somebody he got along with well from the looks, and didn't judge him for who his father was. Even more so, a rather pretty girl at that. Yet she had to be the daughter of his father's rival, something that he worried would doom their friendship. If he dared step foot into the ocean he was in danger from her father. If she went into the sky with him, his father would be tempted to strike her down. As he kneeled, Ryland sent a small prayer asking for some guidance to his father. Was she sent to camp for some sort of fate? That was the worst thing about the mythical side of things, he was never sure what was purely coincidence and what was fate. He'd go talk to the oracle tomorrow, see if perhaps she would have some insight. At the thought of that, he figured it might be a good idea to go introduce Kiera.

He was admittedly quite a bit displeased with the parentage of the girl, knowing the bad blood between their parents and thinking how it could very easily ruin interactions between the two. After kneeling for a few moments, he pushed those darker thoughts off to the side. Standing he reached towards the girl's hand to lead her away from the bonfire should she allow it. He could tell how uncomfortable she felt with everybody staring at her. "Come on, lets get your stuff to move into your cabin. You looked uncomfortable so I... can understand that. We've got a lot of a pressure for our parentage." He said quietly, a bit more serious than his carefree attitude from before. A hint of sadness hidden in his eyes before he forced the look away and gave her a light smile. "Besides, how else am I supposed to show off?" He said jokingly with a small shrug. Without any other words he continued to quietly walk alongside Kiera before seeming to think of something else. "How are you handling all this?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Also, tomorrow morning, meet me by the dining hall after breakfast. I have somebody you should meet." He said.
Ryland “Ry” Astrapí

Ryland raised an eyebrow as it seemed like Kiera felt it was important to note that she wouldn't mind being taught by him. His gaze lingered for a moment before he smiled and nodded. Then looking towards the group training below. "Alright! Training's over for today, I've gotta get Ms. Kiera here some weapons. I want each of you to practice what we went over by Thursday, I will be testing you on it. Whoever does best... well I'll to Chiron about chore scheduling." He said with a slight grin, knowing they would scramble to train in order to get the easier chores around camp. Certainly, to avoid helping the kitchen harpies clean, lava was kind of a dangerous to use for cleaning to most non-magical creatures. As the others all left, he turned towards Kiera and nodded. "We don't really have a weapons master. Just kinda a shed and a general understanding don't touch it or Mr. D will turn you into a dolphin." He said with a slight laugh as he started making his way towards said weapons shed situated near the arena. Opening the unassuming wooden shed, he showed Kiera a wide range of deadly weaponry. Ranging from knives to greatswords to even a few rifles situated towards the back. "Go ahead, choose one that suits you and I'll even toss in a free lesson. No need to thank me, I know I'm so generous." He said with a small laugh while gesturing to show that he was kidding towards Kiera as he waited for her to choose her weapon of choice. Soon after, the two would be in the arena as Ryland began showing Kiera how to handle her weapons. Taking it one step at a time to show her the basics and then seeing what she could do. Over the course of the next couple of hours, the two worked out the basics, exchanged laughs, and slight flirts with each other. Though after a few hours it was time each went their separate ways, Ry going to get dinner and do some chores while Kiera was free to fill her time with whatever.

That night at the campfire, the flame was roaring nearly twenty feet high and turning a golden color due to high spirits from the summer just starting out. Various camp songs were sung to the tune of the Apollo cabin's guitar playing, all variations on the Greek myths. Ryland was late to the campfire, having fallen asleep in his cabin shortly after dinner. As he came up, the boy happened to notice that Kiera was sitting with some space near her at the campfire. Moving quickly to claim the spot, he bumped shoulders with the girl to let her know that he was there. "Fancy seeing you here." He said quickly before joining into whatever silly song was being sung at the moment. Though after a few more songs, the lyrics suddenly were cut off in the middle of a song about minotaurs. The silence overtaking the crowd at a rather rapid rate as people started to exclaim and point. All attention turned towards Kiera and Ryland. More specifically, towards the glow above Kiera's head. Ryland's eyes went wide as he noticed the change above the new camper, and what the green trident meant. Under his breath he cursed slightly, knowing the bad blood between their parents would no doubt affect them at some point. Taking a couple of steps back, before kneeling down as the rest of the camp followed suit. "Your father..." He said in a soft tone, already wondering what it meant that another child of the Big Three was showing up so soon. Before he could say much more, a wiser and much older voice boomed over the crowd. Chiron, announcing the claiming more formally than the whispers among the crowd suggest. "It has been decided. Your father has claimed you, Kiera, Poseidon the Earthshaker, Stormbringer, Father of Horses. Hail, Kiera Donovan, Daughter of the Sea God." The centaur said firmly even as a wave of 'hail' was echoed out across the campers. When he rose to his feet and looked towards Kiera, Ryland gave her a look to see if she was alright with the sudden attention.
Fumiko "Kuīn" Nakamura

Fumiko seemed to have the cashier right where she wanted him. She could tell by his glances and the clearly interested way he spoke to her. Whenever Riley walked up, Fumiko turned towards her friends and gave a slight smile. "Always." She said in response before turning her attention back to the cashier and continuing to chat him up. This continued until Amelia arrived, when Fumiko decided it was time to cut it off and bid farewell to her new friend. "I'll be outside, ladies. See ya." She said before blowing a kiss to the cashier and heading outside.

Standing in the sunlight, Fumiko pushed down her sunglasses and leaned on the wall next to the door. Pulling out her phone she started scrolling through her calendar to figure out what she was supposed to be doing next. It seemed she had a couple of days before her next scheduled event. Maybe Jimmy had thought of her enough to give her time with Riley? He was always such a sweetheart that way. As she quietly waited, Fumiko also then started look up what stores were around. Deciding where she wanted to go shop, and hopefully later drag her two friends out the bars.
