Dean Winchester
Dean shook his head at Esme, but also agreed with her through his eyes, “I think you would do fine, with us. If this thing was something we knew about, I would trust you in action in a heartbeat. But…I don’t want weaknesses around us. My weakness, not yours. Mika is a weakness for me, but I also know that if I say run, she’ll run…or at least…I think…”
He frowned a bit, wincing at them messing with his hands. This was going to be fun, fighting whatever the hell this thing was with no feeling in his hands.
Dean smiled warmly at Natalia, not even realizing how much he had needed her around, until she was around. His time in Hell was very vivid in his head, and the demons had used plenty of threats toward her to torment him, before realizing it wouldn’t break him. But, seeing her alive did set his heart aflame.
“I mean. You’re not wrong…”, he muttered at her, raising his eyebrows. She was right about one thing. The Winchesters were damn hard to kill. There wasn’t much they couldn’t do together, and most everything in the universe seemed to know it.
He pulled his hands away from the girls as they finished up, and stood, trying not to knock either of them over as he reached for his jacket.
“Welp. There’s no time like now to die, right? Twenty four hours out of the hole, and we’re already on the chopping block again…Winchesters.”, he laughed slightly, before shoving his gun back into his pants and stepping across the room toward the door. He waited there for Mika, and turned to the other girls, “You girls stay safe. Lock the doors…don’t answer for anyone you don’t know. You know the drill…”
He gave the dad speech with a faux serious face, waving his hands around.
Annabeth
Annabeth lay on the dirty floor, her eyes open and glassy…lifeless as they stared at Sam. Her soul had left her body, and was now bouncing around between heaven and nothingness.
The demon felt fulfilled as he stared at how she had folded up on the ground from the fall. His eyes then widened as Sam stepped forward and held his arm out in a rage, “Now hold on…you can’t…”
He began to gag, his body shaking and his eyes bulging as he stared at Sam. Black smoke began to slowly erupt from him throat and fall with sparks onto his feet and the ground below.
“…It’s a myth!!!”, he screamed before the smoke sped up, and finally left his throat completely, causing his dead meat suit to crumble on the floor with a thud.
Another demon that was merely in the room, waiting to subdue Sam if needed began to scream at the ceiling, the black smoke from his throat flying into an air vent as he panicked and ran away from Sam Winchester. Staring at Annabeth’s body, and the body of his boss, the final demon had just stepped into the room, and also smoked out loudly.
