Marathon training started today, and it's just as painful as I expected. Wahh. But I do feel a bit better than I do on my normal run. Pain - Bad. Runners high from a long run? Great.

I twisted my ankle on my run because of a damn pecan and now I think pecan trees in parks should be illegal T_T Good news, it's not broken. Bad news, I have to rest it for a day or two.

Bio

Hi!
You can call me Anna!
I'm a veteran of the old Guild, before the shutdown.
I love Supernatural, and currently, all of my RPs are Supernatural related. Feel free to message me with ideas!

Dean Winchester is me. I am Dean Winchester.

A mom. A wife. A very protective best friend. Pathological People Pleaser. Intimidating due to my patience and general ability to be unbothered.

I'm addicted to working out, running, and generally having an endorphin high. I also tend to be very annoying talking about it, but I'm way more annoying when I'm depressed.

I'm a hopeless Swiftie. So, if you hate her, I wouldn't RP with me, if you like OOC banter. 90% of songs I use as fuel are Taylor Swift deep cuts. Not really any exceptions.

If I currently RP with you, you're basically my best friend and I will protect you with my life. <3

And also, also, because I have super severe ADHD, I tend to ghost on accident. Never be shy to send me a reminder message. I don't get offended!

@FuriePhoenix owns my soul.

Dean furrowed his brow, attempting to hide the way his heart sped up when Lexi smiled at him. He turned his eyes to the floor and smirked with a small nod, “You’re welcome.”

His nod turned into a head shake, as she threw his joke back on him with a small compliment to his being decent company. He glanced back up, seeing her fingers moving around, and his eyes briefly caught the tan line from her wedding ring. His stomach clinched painfully, remembering for that brief moment that she was mourning too.

The reminder of his mourning washed over him and for a moment, he felt as if he was punched in the stomach, but he took a deep breath and shook his head to shake himself out of his painful daydream. He raised his eyebrows at his brother’s kidding about his choice of entertainment while feeling sorry for himself and lonely.

Dean mocked him, snarling his nose childishly, but when Lexi suggested that Sam retrieve more books while…HE showed her the armory, Dean swallowed heavily, bringing his hand to the back of his head nervously. He shot a glance to Sam, as if pleading with him for help, and then turned his eyes back to Lexi.

“Um. Y-yeah! It’s not that hard to find, but I’m a pretty good guide.”, he muttered back to her, his lips curling up into a smile that ended up a bit more mischievous than he intended.
I miiiiiiiiight be bumping this, since I lost a bunch of RP's this week due to disinterest (of the other partner), and I'm feeling froggy. PM ME!
Dean smiled, hearing the words ‘i wasn’t going to stay here forever without you’ caused his heart to flutter in his chest. It had been a while since he and Mika had actually had a fight, and while things were good, and the cycle hadn’t made it that far around, yet, he wanted to take full advantage. Hearing that she had always known she wanted to come with him just cemented that further.

Dean nearly choked, however, when the words ‘I’m pregnant’ left her lips. Even in context, the words almost knocked him over and he gasped, a shudder ripping through him, “Well um. I don’t know that the um…pregnancy would likely not be taken as a mundane thing for Bobby. Jesus Christ he would kill me. I don’t even know if I could handle it…phew.”

He placed his hand over his chest, feigning a heart attack and chuckled but ran his finger tips over the bruise on her cheek. He watched her face as she turned over the ideas of a normal life in her head, and he knew that look all too well, after all the years they had been together. He couldn’t imagine it, not truly, just because he had always seen himself as a grunt. But when she daydreamed about it, he couldn’t help but wonder what a white picket fence life would look like for them.

“Although, Bobby raising yet another kid might actually calm his ass down.”, he offered, letting her know that he was thinking about those random mundane dreams of a normal life, too. He leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to her lips, nuzzling her nose with his as he pulled back to look at her eyes, “What do you wanna do tonight?”
Dean and Anna

Dean sighed, and threw his hands up as Mika mentioned that their only demon ally might actually be getting lunch, instead of showing up at the motel. He stepped over to Sam, and handed him the piece of paper in his hands. It had what info he needed to give the others, while they all regrouped and gathered their supplies.

“You’re gonna need your suit.”, he muttered to Sam, patting him on the chest, before squeezing Nat’s shoulder. He turned to Mika and gestured for her to follow him to get their rooms. This was definitely an FBI situation, as it was the only believable police presence they could manage without using local PD.

After grabbing the room keys from reception, Dean came back to the group, and handed Nat her key, before Annabeth took the other key from his hands. She narrowed her eyes at him and he shrugged, “I figured your first trip out on the road…you would rather be with Sam than any of us. Don’t thank me.”

Annabeth couldn’t help but sigh with relief a bit as she saw a tiny bit of softness in Dean’s gaze. He was betraying himself with his own expressions, trying to keep Sam’s mind straight, as well as keep her as close to Sam as possible, since he was still adamant about her being his brother’s problem.

“Well, I guess we’re bunk mates.”, she muttered, stepping up to Sam, and jiggling the key in front of him. She smiled softly, not sure if he would be quite so excited, considering they were still figuring things out.

Dean rejoined Mika and handed her their key, wrapping his arm around her shoulders. He pulled her into his side and sighed, “Did you learn anything about her, on the drive? Sam seems to think she’s a precious little thing that can’t harm anyone…but I’m not so sure.”

Cason

Cason flinched as he heard the crunch of the demon’s nose when Esme head butted him. He smirked and opened his eyes, panting as he watched her face. The wild smirk was exciting, if he was honest. It gave him hope that they could get out of this, because she was incredibly tough. As if his feelings for her weren’t ridiculous enough, now he saw her on his own level…hard to kill and tough as hell.

When the demon punched her, Cason closed his eyes again and sighed painfully, working at the restraints around him. He couldn’t leave the devil’s trap, but he could at least fight his way to a weapon. He turned his head to the side, attempting to ignore the sounds in front of him to concentrate on getting himself free of his restraints.

He began shaking as he fought against them, and tried to leave the circle through teleportation. He straightened, almost screaming as he fought to teleport, “I’m going to kill every single fucking one of you. I swear. I will rip you from your bodies. I will crush you!”

As the demon wrenched his face up, and threatened him, he growled reluctantly opening his eyes to look at Esme. He gasped at the blood flowing from the knife wound in her shoulder, as that same knife had become embedded into her thigh. He gritted his teeth, barely able to look at her, as the demon pushed the flame closer to her chest, “Don’t! Don’t. Wait. Kill me. That will make you feel better, right? If you let her go, I have contact with an angel. I can get you a blade. You can kill me. Please!”

The demon holding his face stared down at him and scoffed, “You’re pathetic. You’re going back to Hell either way, if we don’t kill you first. Don’t worry sweetheart. This isn’t a negotiation on who feels the pain of what you’ve done.”.

He tangled his fingers in Cason’s hair, and held his head steady, “I’m just hoping she doesn’t give out on us before we get to hear that sweet little thing squeal.”

As the demon stepped forward, bringing the flame against Esme’s skin, it blackened and sizzled quickly, but he suddenly stepped back with a gasp, followed by a loud squish. Dropping the torch, he brought two shaky hands up to his face, and steam emitted from his now empty eye socket. Sticking out of the hole was a screwdriver, salt and holy water dripping from the handle.

“What the hell? Who the hell are you?”, The demon holding Cason asked, letting go of Cason’s hair and taking a step back. He couldn’t leave the devil’s trap and so he stood close to the chair and leaned his head back, smoking out before the blonde man could approach him with a large knife, covered the same way as the screwdriver. Cason lifted his eyes to stare up at the man. He was tall, somewhere around the younger Winchester’s height and blonde, with blue eyes that only held excitement in what he was doing. A plain black cowboy hat was perched on his head, contrasting with his white t-shirt and jeans.

“Do I know you?”, Cason asked, as the man stepped over to the other demon and drug him into the devil’s trap. He didn’t say anything at first, untying Cason’s arms as the other demon smoked out like a coward, realizing he was trapped with a capable hunter. Shrugging his shoulders in disappointment that both demons were gone, the man finished with the ropes, and gestured for Cason to leave the circle, “I can’t. Demon.”

“Demon?”, the man finally spoke in a deep southern accent, “What are the Winchesters doing pallin’ around with demons? Should I let you out?”

“I guess I’m a good demon. I really need you to let me out though. Please. I need to get to her.”, Cason practically begged, causing the other man to raise his eyebrows in surprise. He scuffed his boot roughly against the paint on the floor, and broke the trap, causing Cason to instantly run to Esme. He was careful where he touched her as he knelt between her legs and lifted her chin to look at him, “Esme. Hey sweetheart. I’ve got you. I got you. I’m gonna take care of you.”
Dean tilted his head to the side as Sam explained the situation with the supposed vampire victims, furrowing his brow. Although he wasn’t ready to get back into hunting full time, he was intrigued by the case, to say the least, “Well did the victims have their throats ripped out or were they just torn to shreds beforehand? I mean, if they’re getting up and walking off, that sounds like something straight out of a Bram Stoker book.”

He waved off his brother’s last words, turning his gaze to Lexi, “If you guys are going out tonight, you can come by the armory and grab some stuff. It’s probably better for you to prepare for everything, and hope it’s nothing, you know?”

It was almost as if he was politely asking Lexi to please take the entire armory with her, so that she would come back in one piece. He knew Sam’s hunting style, and that Sam would be fine, even if he came back a little beat up and tired.

“There’s also plenty of stuff in the trunk, that I’m not using. Feel free to take any of it.”, he muttered, taking a last bite of his pie, before he stood up from the table and walked his plate over to the sink, rubbing his stomach. He stared over at a bottle of whiskey for a moment, thinking about taking it. He shook the thought out of his head, and turned back to the table, “Now I just gotta decide if I want to go back to my room and take a nap to sleep off some of this food, or if there’s anything I can do around the bunker. Being off grid and drunk for a while has created a bit of a time loop. I figure you’re both pretty sick of my mopey ass being around…”
Dean brought his hand up and brushed his fingers down Mika’s jaw as she laid her head on his shoulder. He took a deep breath and nodded, “Yeah. He didn’t really explode like I expected, but maybe that’s because he saw this coming at some point. I always come back. It was only a matter of time until you came out on the road with me.”

He smirked and leaned his head down against hers as she hugged his arm, “I’ll always have your back. And I can’t promise that he’ll still be as forgiving as he is right now, but he’ll let you go…one way or another. You’re not a kid anymore.”

Dean furrowed his brow at Mika’s last words, almost wanting to ask what she meant, but a few ideas flew through his mind. Bobby never reacted to surprises well, regardless the circumstance. If you told him you forgot to change the oil on your car until 10,000 miles, it wasn’t uncommon for him to lose his mind, and fly off the handle.

“What, like marriage? I think his brain would have exploded, if we told him that.”, he chuckled, and stroked his fingers through her hair, “How’s your face feeling, by the way?”
Dean raised his eyes from the pie, and looked at Lexi when she told him to have as much pie as he wanted. After months of barely eating any food at all, the idea of living off pie didn’t sound like such a bad thing. Even as full as his stomach already was, he had saved plenty of room. He rolled his eyes at Sam, while cutting himself a large piece of pie, smirking at Lexi defending him.

“Listen to the lady. I’m a growing boy. I need my food.”, Dean scoffed, carefully putting the piece of pie on a plate as if it was a delicate flower. He picked a spare fork from the counter and made his way back over to the table, “I took a shower, and I smell good. I deserve a reward. That’s the most effort I’ve made in months.”

He dug into the pie almost instantly, turning to look at Lexi with a mouth full, “This is perfect. You’re an angel. And to answer the question in the room…no. I still feel like crap, but it’s only polite to not smell up the place when we have guests.”

Dean shrugged his shoulders and tucked back into his pie, taking another massive bite. He turned his eyes to Sam and nodded his head. He wanted his brother to know that letting Lexi stay was a good idea. Hell, having Jodi over would have been enough to make Dean at least open his door and take a shower, not that Jodi would have let him keep drinking himself to death anyway. She would have removed his door, if that’s what it took to keep him from sulking.

“So, what’s this hunt you guys are working on? I haven’t exactly been in the loop lately, and I don’t even know that I want to get back in the loop, everything considered…but it seems important, for you to ask for help.”, he asked Sam carefully, taking another bite.
Bobby stomped his foot lightly, knowing that there was nothing he could do to stop her from wanting to leave with Dean. It had always been this way, and deep down, he knew the day would come where she would want to do more hunting…with Dean. He stepped back and leaned against his desk with a long sigh at her words, raising a hand to rub his brow.

“I know you do. I think that’s what scares me. Dean, you’re young. You’re reckless and half the time, you need someone to save your ass. You’re better off here, than you are out there, and you know it.”, he turned his gaze to Dean, who shrugged his shoulders.

“Maybe you’re right, Bobby, but you know as well as I do that Dad isn’t just gonna let me vacation at your house for the rest of my life. If he comes back…when…when he comes back, he’s going to want me to go with him. I don’t want you trying to get in his way.”, Dean spoke more even, now, his face completely reasonable and even, “He’ll want me back in rotation. With Mika there, we can take care of each other.”

Bobby sighed, “Look at you now! Run out of town because you went in too hot!”

“And we still got out of it okay! That means we know when to bow out, if things get too heavy!”, Dean argued, gesturing with his hands. Bobby shook his head.

“And the werewolves that almost gutted you?! Did you know when to bow out then?!”, Bobby practically yelled again, exasperated. Dean held up a hand.

“I was alone! How do you bow out when you have to kill your way out?! With two of us, they would have never gotten that far, and I probably wouldn’t have even been hurt. I need a partner that’s not dad, and I want to take her with me. You can either let her go, or try to make her stay, but you know she’ll end up following me, either way.”, Dean said with finality, turning his eyes toward the floor. He was tying Bobby’s hands, giving Mika the full choice of leaving or staying.

Bobby raised his nose toward the ceiling in a long and understanding nod, “Well. You’re right. I can’t make this decision for you, but I don’t like it. We’ll talk about it more when John calls.”

He stepped away from his desk and walked around to grab one of the phones on the wall, to call in his hunters to take care of the town Dean and Mika had left behind. Dean sighed, feeling both defeated and relieved that Bobby was just letting the situation go for now.
Dean saw the smile on Lexi’s face, and he couldn’t help looking down at his plate with a smile of his own, seeing that somehow, behind the mourning beard and tired eyes, he had made someone else smile for a change. He shook his head quickly when she mentioned not getting in the way, “Sam’s right. There’s a lot of room here. This place used to hold a whole fraternity of guys. I’m pretty sure we have room for one tiny woman.”

He sighed and took another massive bite of food, groaning as his stomach warmed just at having decent food landing in it. If Lexi was going to be staying around for a couple of days, she was definitely cooking, if she wanted to. Though he would probably miss her cooking, when she did leave. He glanced over at his brother, noticing the way he was watching them, and furrowed his brow.

“This place is smack dab in the center of the country, so yeah, I guess you’re right.”, he responded to Lexi with a shrug, “I don’t get out much anymore, but if you need to get anywhere, it at least splits the drive time under 24 hours to most areas on the coast.”

Finishing his pasta, Dean sat for a moment, leaned back in his chair. He stroked his chin for a moment, before glancing between the two of them, “Sam, don’t have a heart attack, but…I think I’m gonna go take a shower, and shave. I have a full on beard going on, here. Then! I’m gonna have some pie.”

Dean stood from his chair quickly, and walked around the table to head for the door way of the kitchen, patting Lexi on the shoulder as he walked by, “Thanks for dinner. The pasta was perfect.”

He left the kitchen, and walked through the war room quickly to stroll down to the showers. After several moments, he stepped out of the shower room and into his bedroom. And after another several minutes of recovering from his shower thoughts and tears, Dean left his bedroom fully dressed. For a change, he wasn’t dressed in the same pair of pajama pants and a t-shirt. He was wearing jeans, a t-shirt, and a flannel, though he was still barefoot. His hair had been brushed and the mourning beard was gone. His face barely held a five o’clock shadow. He walked carefully into the war room, and then into the kitchen where he walked straight over to the pie on the counter, staring at it as if trying to decide how big of a piece to cut.

He had to admit he didn’t feel much better. The feeling in the pit of his stomach was still there, but something about having Lexi in their home made him at least want to stay sober, and somewhat clean, a big change from his normal routine.
Dean tilted his head to the side as Lexi spoke briefly about her own trouble, but didn’t elaborate. In his mind, the thoughts of what all could have happened to her rolled over, tumbling around with what little he already knew about her. Dean stared at her face for a few moments as they stood there, just reading her expression and taking in her facial features until Sam stepped into the room and shook him from his thoughts.

He sat at the table carefully, picking up his fork and taking into the pasta, a relieved groan leaving his throat as he chewed with his eyes closed. He nodded his head, and held up a thumb at Lexi. He didn’t know if it was because he had lived off cold cuts and cheap bread for the past few months, or if it was the lack of whiskey in his system making him hungry for anything, but the pasta was amazing. He wanted all of it for himself. He took another bite as Sam spoke up, and as he chewed sloppily, he raised his eyebrows at Sam, “She might have said it was a possibility. We got plenty of space and if she’s bored enough to cook a meal, maybe we could use the extra set of hands to do other things. You know?”

Dean took another large bite, turning his eyes to Lexi as he chewed. He gave her a warm smile, the nicest he had been in those months and swallowed, “Well, if you cook like this, I’ve missed you my whole life, and we should hire you.”

He had to admit that he already felt a bit better. He didn’t like the idea of having a woman running around the bunker, considering how simple the arrangement between he and Sam could be. They stayed to themselves and they came together when they wanted to have a dinner or sometimes catch up on some lore that Sam stumbled across when he was bored. They kinda just did whatever they wanted, and having someone new in the bunker could potentially ruin that dynamic. What if she wanted him to work out? What if she washed the cars in the garage with the wrong soap? What if she vacuumed before 4 pm? There were plenty of reasons to not want her there.

But as he stared at her for a moment, before turning his face back toward his food, his heartstrings tugged for the first time in a while. He couldn’t reasonably make her go get a motel, when she seemed genuinely concerned for Dean, and for Sam’s babysitting abilities. Maybe this was the day Dean would try…to just be nice to another person that wasn’t Sam.

“Also, if you don’t want to shower with the guys, there’s another set of showers further down the corridor. I just happened to pick my room across from the big shower. It’s the best one. Water pressure for the gods.”, Dean teased a bit, shocking himself as the humor rolled off his tongue, as something other than self deprecation or complaining.
