“If that is your decision, Master.” Rider began to advance slowly towards his opponent, never taking his eyes from Assassin’s own as he did so. He held his shield in front of him, covering his body from attack, and held his scimitar out to the side; he had the suspicion that his opponent was better with a sword than he was, faster and more skilled, and so approached the fight with that in mind. The shield was his advantage, something his opponent lacked even if it was by choice, and he would leverage it as best he could during this battle.

When half the distance between Rider and Assassin had been covered, the armoured Carthaginian increased his speed, rising from a walk to a trot to a run, until he was sprinting at his opponent and bringing his sword around to attack. “Haah!” with a shout Rider swung his sword up and then down, aiming his slash at the point where Assassin’s neck and shoulder met.

I'd say his Ultimate is more of a utility move than offensive. Also I think it'd be better, in my opinion, to be a 50% bonus to strength and speed with a 50% drop to ki and endurance. Any thoughts on that?

I figured dropping one stat to raise three was more "ultimate" than a more even exchange, but if that's a balancing issue then I don't mind changing it; I could explain it as the technique being a way to focus ki energy inwards to strengthen the body, at the cost of putting a lot of strain on the user.

I have a question though; I know that there will be opportunities to gain more techniques along the way, but will we gain more than one "Ultimate" technique? Having more than one kind of goes against the idea of an ultimate anything, but I kind of understood them as being more like signature moves. Maybe as we grow stronger we'd replace our ultimate techniques with something stronger, relegating the old ability to a regular technique?
It's not complete yet, but I'll throw up what I have so far.

He'd probably fit in better in Street Fighter than Dragon Ball but we'll see.

I might be wrong but from the sounds of it they want something closer to a shapeshifting machine than a swarm of nanobots. An otherwise solid robot that can create various weapons from its body and self repair. Something like the Blue Beetle suit or Ironman's suit from Infinity War? Or maybe like the T-1000 as a more extreme version.

Upon hearing the Slime's response, Oberon couldn’t help but let out a little sigh. That was exactly the kind of mentality he was trying to warn against. “This world works like a game in a lot of ways, it’s true, but at the end of the day it’s still a living, breathing world like ours was; we can’t make assumptions about this place based on what worked in games back home, that’s the trap we need to avoid falling into. We shouldn’t treat the creatures like random mobs to grind experience off of for one thing; they aren’t just running off some simple AI, they’re smarter than that. We tried that with the Goblin’s and then they mobilised and tried to wipe out the whole cave.”

The mention of sleep, and especially the health loss that came with it, reminded him of his own predicament. He’d apparently slowed the loss by rehydrating himself but he needed sleep and food as much as everyone else did. “Sleeping by the entrance isn’t a bad idea; we still don’t know what’s outside and shouldn’t try to explore too far if we’re all exhausted. I take it that means you’re coming with us? We should get moving either way; the sooner we get there the sooner we can rest.”

Anyone have idea's for abilities based on this cs?

Well, the abilities are meant to be based on your characters race more than anything specific to them. So it's more a question of what sort of abilities a human would have in this setting; they don't really seem to have anything special like the other races do.

I'd suggest something like 'fast growth' so that they make up for their lack of natural advantages by increasing their power levels faster than others, but that'll leave humans pretty imbalanced further down the line.

Maybe they make up for lack of power by being better at martial arts? Like they are able to learn completely physical techniques faster than other races?
@tobiax whatever works best for the RP. I'm fine with ignoring it.
@tobiax well since apparently all her friends have them as well and she's used to getting message, maybe I should rewrite it? I suppose going forward it won't be an issue in the digital world but it'll be pretty jarring looking back.

Sorry, I completely forgot about the timeframe of the RP.
Did you have something else in mind?

No, but if I did make a post now it would probably be to attack which might interfere with Raditz reacting to Gor Dae's attack.

The only thing a post for Alex right now would contain would be a reaction to Gor Dae's attack, which can be better done after seeing what the effects of that attack actually are.
Gor went for the kill. His legs contracted for a moment, before Gor lunged at Radiz, intending to clap his jaws down on the top of Radiz's skull, utilizing one of his signature moves. His intent, clamp down and unleash his hellish flames and broil Radiz'z greymatter within his skull.

@Weird Tales He's chomping on his skull and then using fire breath.

And if that's the blow that kills Raditz then even more reason for me not to do anything yet.
