Kurai is tallish. He stands on the edge of five foot eleven and still believes he has room to grow. He has a scar on his right cheek that he got from training with his dragon father. It's relatively small but the scar is a symbol for him. He wears a crystal earring on his right ear. His outfit isn't anything special. In fact he usually just wears a pair of fitted baggy black pants and a black sleeveless shirt. He keeps it sleeveless because he wears his guild mark with pride. He'll sometimes wear a black sleeveless jacket on top if he feels like it that day. He's always seen with his katana at his side. Whether it's on his hip or just besides him. He doesn't go anywhere without it.

Personal Information

Personality:: Despite his type of magic Kurai is anything but the dark and brooding type. He's actually quite the opposite. When it comes to magical combat you'll never find someone more interested. He uses each battle as a learning lesson even if it's easy. He's also smarter than he appears. He may be kind of lazy but it doesn't take him much effort to learn things outside of magic. He's usually always in a good mood when he's surrounded by his friends and guild family. He cares about them more than anything in the world besides finding his father. He says he cares about them equally but even he's not even sure of that himself. It takes a lot to push Kurai over the edge and hurting his friends is the fastest and easiest way. This is true to the point where he doesn't even go all out in a fight unless they or he himself is in danger. The only exception to that is if the fight itself is too enjoyable for him to not push himself and go all out.

History:: Kurai doesn't remember anything about his life before he met his dragon father. Because of that he doesn't care about anything that happened before it. He has fond memories of growing and training with his father. The time they spent together was the best times of his life. He doesn't know what happened but one day his father was gone. He searched forever for him but couldn't find him. His search lead him to the village of Luna Cruscente. He kept asking people if they saw a shadowy dragon but no one was any help. He walked to the outskirts of the village figuring that this was another dead end and cried. It was then that the guild master of Harpy's Wing found him and brought him into the guild house.

It was honestly the greatest thing that Kurai had ever saw. There were so many wizards and a lot of them were his age. He decided to stay and train so he could take on quests that could lead him to find his father. It's been about eight years since then and he's grown a lot over the years but he still hasn't found what he was looking for. But he did gain a new family that he wouldn't lose. He couldn't go through that feeling again.

Shadow Dragon's Vortex:(Unlike the original) Kurai's Shadow Dragon's Vortex is used when he creates a magic circle in front of him using his shadows and the technique absorbs whatever magic comes in contact with it. He uses this as a protective spell when he knows he or the ones he's protecting can't take the technique head on. Currently it drains a lot from him and he can usually only use it once or twice without replenishing his mana. He believes that he can redirect the magic with this technique but hasn't been able to do so yet.
Shadow Dragon's Luminous Shadow: Kurai joins together shadow balls from his left and right hand causing them to grow together and size. He then lifts it above his head before launching it at an opponent to cause a giant explosion. The technique get its name from how once the balls join together they seem to shine a bit with light.
Dragon Slayer's Secret Art Shadow Dragon's Blade: This is basically the beginning of his last ditch effort. He covers his katana in his shadow to increase its ability and his own through the blade itself.
Dragon Slayer's Secret Art Shadow Dragon's Blade Slash: This is a stronger version of his Shadow Dragon's Slash that he uses when he covers his katana with his shadow.
Dragon Slayer's Secret Art Shadow Dragon's Blade of Impalement: After covering his katana with his shadow he plants his feet firmly in the ground with his katana aimed at his opponent at his side. He can either turn towards them with this or stand his ground and thrust towards his opponent sending a piercing shadow beam towards them.

Has an acute sense of smell and hearing
He isn't a formal master of unarmed combat but he considers himself a master in his own sense. He's mastered the art of fighting like a dragon. His moves tend to be wild and unpredictable

The Next Avengers

Richard was right and knew it was more than just asking what happened. He was chewing them out and he looked around at the reactions of the others as he did so. He noticed Ben's personal retreat and removed his arm from around Mister Lang. He didn't want to sound cocky but he was sure that if he was there the situation would've gone a lot smoother. He decided to keep that to himself. It wasn't the time to praise himself. Especially when the others were being scolded and in some ways belittled.

He listened to Vix and Ben and chiped in after them. "They're right. Put us to the test and let us change your opinion. I suggest we do a simulation right now." Even though he wasn't part of the original situation there was no way he was going to miss out on this. This would've been good for all of them. Especially those that weren't actually in the program yet.

Barry has a strong sense of justice. Even before tragedy struck his home he's always wanted to see the good in the world triumph over the bad. He's fun, loving, and caring. He's the type of guy that would carry the weight of the Universe on his shoulder so no one else has to take on the burden.

Biography:

Barry and his twin brother were born in Fallville, Iowa to Henry and Nora Allen. His brother was pronounced stillborn but in reality the drunk doctor had given his twin to another family in the hospital because he wanted to be fair after being unable to save their son. Barry grew up not knowing about his twin. When he was ten years old tragedy struck. It was a night like any other. They had just finished eating dinner and Barry was about to go to bed when he witnessed the death of his father. As a young boy he couldn't even explain what had happened in his living room. No one would even believe him anyway. His father was a respected doctor in the community and with a lack of evidence otherwise they arrested Barry's mother for the crime.

After that day Barry made it his personal mission to find his father's murderer and free his mom. Everything he did after that were steps towards that goal. He was soon placed in a foster home in Central City and lived there until College. He went to Sun City University after receiving a full scholarship and graduated summa cum laude in three years with a Bachelors in Organic Chemistry and minor in Criminology. He then returned to Central City where he began working with the CCPD as a Forensic Scientist.

He found his niche and he believed working with the police department would help him find his father's true killer. He moved into an apartment with a lab in the back and one day during an electrical storm he decided to continue working on an experiment and a lightning bolt struck through the window and shattered a chemical cabinet and the electrified chemicals spilled all over Barry. He then fell and hit his head and was knocked out for a short period. He then woke up and cleaned himself and found himself moving at speeds much faster than normal. He didn't understand what was going on at first but then he realized he had become something extraordinary. He decided to use his powers for good and named himself after his childhood comic hero The Flash.
