Andy cautiously placed the square in her mouth. It tasted like chicken soup, specifically the soup that one foster family had made her when she was maybe six years old and very sick. That had been one of the few foster homes Andy had liked, but she had gotten into a fight with one of the other kids and shocked him. While no one could explain what had happened she had been shuffled out of the home. She wanted to cry all over again. Andy both wanted more ambrosia and to never have it again.

After sitting up Andy leaned against Marygold. Her face cold and wet from crying. The game was over. She wanted to apologize to Arthur, and he certainly looked like he took a nasty hit from her. His hair was standing on end. But she couldn't bring herself to do it, not yet. She still hurt, though it did appear her arm was no longer broken. What Andy really wanted was just to go to bed, but she knew what her cabin looked like. Andy was frustrated in ways she couldn't express. "Can I go to my cabin?"

"Engaged here yes, but I can't remember if they had gotten married or not in the real world. My memory is a jumble of...a lot of memories." She paused uncertain how to explain she had just time traveled. God, she needed a vacation. "Klara." She nodded at Runa's cousin. "I'm glad you're okay, that's Goose. I don't know what a Flerken is but he has tentacles that shoot from his mouth and has been alive well over forty years." It was odd to think of Fury in that moment holding the younger Goose.

"Jade are you satisfied with what you've learned here? Or do you want to check out the other rooms still?" She knew the woman didn't have any powers, but she was smart. Niah still wanted to look at Flynn's room, mostly out of curiosity. Why would Wanda make him a sibling? Though if Flynn remembered the real world it would be nice to talk to him because he was the only other person she knew remembered the age of Ultron. He could possibly help her get her memories in order.

Niah was flipping through the directory to find Fury or Pym's name when Goose, it had to be Goose, started rubbing against her leg. She paused and knelt down offering a hand to Goose to sniff and rub against as he pleased. "I'm pretty certain Goose is far from a cat. She said without looking up at Flynn. Niah checked her pocket real quick to see if by chance she had some of Goose's favorite treats in them, sadly she didn't have any. "Goose, however, is super important, aren't you Goose. You bring me a postcard in the future and because of the postcard I know I can time travel." Niah didn't use a condescending tone with the 'cat' since she knew he was way smarter than he let on.

She stood up and found Pym's number and called it. "My name is Doctor Niah Bautista. I need to speak with you about Project Ultron." She figured leaving out that she was a SHIELD agent from the future would be a good idea...for now. That would definitely need to be revealed. Even if Pym looked her up in the rudimentary system she wasn't even born yet. But dropping the name of a classified project was certain to get attention.

Arthur hadn't pushed her that hard. She thought as she fell backward off the tree. Reflex took over and she threw her arm back to catch herself and found nothing but air. Time seemed to slow a bit and she understood for a second that this was the ADHD kicking in. She scrambled but it was too late. Instead of grasping anything off the tree her arm crunched under her body as she hit the ground. It didn't hurt, not at first, and then the pain was coursing through her. It was like her arm was the beginning point for a bolt of lightening burning each of her nerve endings. Andy didn't have time to cry out when everything went black. She wasn't unconscious long, but she hadn't heard either of Arthur or Marygold asking after her health.

There was a lot of pain. Not just the physical but the disappointment in herself. The embarrassment. It all bundled up inside her and she directed every ounce of that pain at Arthur. Not that Andy actually wanted to hurt him, he was her friend...right? But a bolt shot from her to him and she finally let out a noise. It was a cry and tears spilled hot from her eyes. There was no way she could have explained what exactly she was crying about. Andy was, after all, only ten years old. She had never had someone explain emotions to her and she lacked coping skills and self-awareness. She still thought it was stupid. She had been hurt before, sure she hadn't broken a bone before and her arm was definitely broken, but Andy had been hurt plenty.

"I know that meow. We'll find you some food." Niah scratched at Goose's chin and started looking for some cat food for Goose. She opened a drawer and found a baggie of kitty treats. "Perfect." She said to herself and opened the bag a little difficultly since she was holding Goose. Then offered him a couple of the treats and shoved the bag in a pocket of her clothes.

Tinley at this point was holding up the picture. Niah took off her glove and touched the photo to see what she could glean from it. For a few seconds, Niah was gone mentally. Her eyes glazed over as images played in her mind. Then it was over. She blinked. "This picture was taken before they had powers. They seemed so happy playing with each other." There had been a certain irony in the memory that she had witnessed. Pietro had been slow and had a hard time keeping up with the running Wanda. "I agree this definitely isn't an appropriate picture for this." She gestured around the room with her free hand, then returned her glove to it.

Niah thought of the determined and sad Wanda she had met during Ultron's reign. She had been so determined to destroy him, to help the group. All because Ultron had killed Pietro. She would do anything for him. "I firmly believe Wanda would re-write the universe if it meant protecting and being with Pietro. He was getting married right, or was married?" Had the wedding happened? She remembered in the simulation the song she could hum it but had forgotten the name. "What was the name of that song on the tape deck we found in the simulation? What if we blasted it? Think it would make him remember the real world?" Niah asked Tinley. "If he remembers it'll piss off Wanda, she'd lose control over him."

Niah started walking toward the Hub after leaving the very confused Baskin Robins employee. "Not an Uber, but taxis exist. Though there might be too many of us to fit in one. There might be bike rentals, but that would require cash cause I'm pretty certain none of our credit cards will be valid." Segways hadn't been invented yet so they probably couldn't do that. Or maybe just public transit, though that would require cash as well. Niah frowned, she had been so concerned with getting to 1984 that she didn't think about paying for sending mail or transport. "None of you happen to know the number for the Hub? We could use a payphone and call them collect."

She grinned at the absurdity of the idea. Yep just call Fury collect and let him know they were there from the future to stop Ultron from taking over the world. Even being the person who was saying it sounded fake. Like some sort of stupid prank call. And Fury wouldn't even be the director of SHIELD at this time, but SHIELD existed. It was a place that people were at right at this moment. It hadn't been destroyed and everyone was still alive. Heck, most people Niah knew weren't even born yet. She wasn't born yet. Her sister was an infant in the Philippians. Daliasy was alive.

Andy was startled by Arthur climbing the tree. Her eyes went wide but she grinned at what he said. "Well stop trying to steal our flag then." She said as Eva wrapped him up in vines. There wasn't any point in her trying to shock him now. She turned her head upside down to see him the right way up. "You okay there Arthur? Though if you try to escape I'll zap you again, maybe make your hair curly."

She was glad it didn't look like she had hurt him at all with her lightning, though she definitely wished she had more control over it. Andy wondered if there was a place in the camp that she could practice without putting people in danger. A part of her really wished she had a sibling too. The cabin was just so empty feeling. Arthur was lucky that he had Ash and they already had rapport with each other too.

"My thought for Pym is warning him about the secondary protocol. He didn't know there was one. If he can edit the code so instead of going psycho it self destructs that would be ideal. Then we get everyone back from the Quantum Realm, and Ultron doesn't happen. I also need to make sure I send off the postcard." God it bugged her, that postcard proved she would time travel, but the paradox surrounding it hurt. Fixing the timeline so Ultron didn't happen would cause her to have never written the postcard. She pinched the brow of her nose. Theoretically, she would remember both timelines but there had to be a way to fix it so everyone was happy. Niah looked at Raynor and Flynn. She wanted them both to be happy. Wanted both of their partners to be alive and well and to not have suffered. God, she wanted all the suffering all of them had had to be fixed. She couldn't do that though. She couldn't see a path that made everything okay again. Nothing would bring them all back she was going to have to choose who would live again. Her heart twisted and she turned away from Raynor and Flynn not wanting them to see the emotions she was certain were playing on her face.

"Shut up Doom. If you're not going to help go sit in a corner and stop hindering. Niah snapped at the dying man. "Carter, figure out how to code devices to keep track of us on the other side. You'll have to set it so it brings us back to the future to here in the Sanctum preferably, but there won't be a return device on this side if all goes right because we won't have built it. Susan can help with the biometrics side of things." Another frustrating snag, would that even work? Or would they be stuck in the past? Turning to Shuri. "We will need to travel to San Francisco. I'd say the early morning of March 5th, 1984 is our best bet. I sent the card in mid-afternoon that should give us plenty of time." She wished she had had more time to learn about the history of Pym and what might be different about March 5th 1984 and any other date they could have picked. Niah took a spot next to Shuri to discuss options for building a time machine that would work by sending them one direction and the handheld things Carter was working on would bring them back. She would cite pages from Pym's books as needed.

Andy nodded at Eva's direction. She knew Arthur and didn't really want to hurt him, so she privately hoped her lightning wouldn't do any severe damage. She pulled up a charge and sent it to Arthur and apparently got her wish. He seemed shocked but not hurt, heck as far as she could tell he seemed unbothered by the shock. She frowned and tried again. This time missing him wildly. Andy took a deep breath and focused trying to aim carefully for the third shot. It hit Arthur but again he seemed unbothered by it. Were Hade's kids randomly immune to electricity? Or was Andy just that incapable. At least she had warned Marygold and Eva her power wasn't super reliable.

Angry now at her failures Andy let the fourth blast out. This one hit Arthur and at least seemed to bother him. It didn't incapacitate him or knock him down though. She grumbled to herself. Angry at herself, and a little bit at her 'father' for the seemingly useless power. A lot of resentment she had been harboring started to boil now that she had someone to direct it at. A part of her was thankful she didn't really hurt Arthur though, and she was tempted to shout from the tree an apology, but she felt it would be better to do that properly in person after the game was over.

Niah winced and ducked when Goose's tentacles wiped out and flung Jade around. He also hit Tinley which frustrated Niah. It meant that Goose didn't remember for certain. She sighed and straightened herself. "Do you want pets Goose?" She had spent many a day curled up reading with Goose, but would he even remember that if he had remembered the real world? That was from a time that didn't exist anymore and Niah couldn't remember who had gone with her back in time to fix everything. It was frustratingly still jumbled.

To Digby, she did say, "Yeah he was sort of part of our team. He was Fury's cat." There was more to that, even after Fury had 'retired' Goose had stayed with them. That she remembered. "Goose do you remember Fury? Or Captain Marvel? Carol Danvers." Maybe he'd remember. If Goose let her she'd pet him, and possibly put him on her shoulder like he had ridden dozens of times before. Niah was surprised when Goose slowly pressed up against her hand and even let her pick him up. She let out a small sigh of relief and scratched under his chin. She had no idea if it was her words that had convinced him and awoken his memories, or if he just really liked scratches. "I only sort of know the turtle, Mr. Dibbles. I met him once when Wanda brought him..." She trailed off. More things that technically hadn't happened. "We should keep moving."
