Rose Buckner

Location: Outside Maleficent’s Castle
Skills:

Rose let Cassi lean into her as much as she needed. Trying to get them into the tree line as quickly as possible. With Cassi, she couldn't fire back at the archers. But hopefully, they could get far enough away that the arrows couldn't hit them.

"Hood! We've got to get out here faster." Rose couldn't carry Cassi. She felt incredibly useless even though she knew she wasn't at the moment. Her own wound had long been forgotten. Rapunzel would probably need to check it again when they got back. Or maybe being here in this place she healed faster. Rose didn't know. But she did know there was a sense of urgency.

"We can't lead them to the base." She added in a hiss. Cassi needed to be taken directly there, as well as the laptop. But the risk was too great to go straight there.

Colby Jackson

Location: Rapunzel's Tower - Outside (On Patrol)
Skills:

"We'll try not to mess with your hunting then." Colby could be stealthy when needed. But he had never hunted. He opened the book and gazed around trying to look for any of the plants Rapunzel had wanted.

He did spot the flowers. Colby knelt beside them comparing them to the photo. He was about to pluck them when he realized there were too many leaves. The plant in the book listed four to a stem, but the one in front of him had six. He wondered what plant this was, but it wasn't what Rapunzel was looking for.

Andy drank some of the offered water. "Thank you." She nodded at Damon's explanation. She was also a little impressed. He had set up small bases in the area he knew. That was a good strategy. That might be part of why he was still alive.

After they arrived at the cave Andy realized she had left the blanket at the cabin. She lamented its loss but curled up with her jacket instead. She yawned. "Wake me up and I'll take a watch later." She said. There was no way they wouldn't have watch now. But she was too tired to take the first one.

Location: Hotel

Niah nodded. She was a little thankful for that. She probably could have stayed awake for her watch if it was time for it, but she was glad she didn't. She laid back down in her little nest. Her sword was again at her side.

"Maybe put the snakes in the bathroom for now. I don't know if I can sleep through that ruckus." Niah suggested. "Let me know if you need help." Since they were magical creatures the group might be able to travel with them. But Niah wasn't certain how they could get them on the train.

"Well, do we want to keep them? Or..." She trailed off. It would feel a lot like an execution. But monsters would come back eventually.

Location: the Gym - Training Room B w/ Ser Nemo and Usagi
Skills: Enhanced Reflexes (Passive), MMA, Electrokinesis

Andy was a bit nervous about this. But when she remembered the test fight with her adoptive father, she knew she could do more than she could in the past. Before Genosha, she could only touch things and shock them. Something had unlocked in the fight, and now she could spread it out more. Recreating that fight would be impossible, but Andy had done the best she could with the form the school had sent out. She had asked for a bunch of metal bits, preferably flat metal disks, and conductive ones. She had also requested a Shiar Golem—one with MMA fighting skills.

If she just pretended it was an underground fight in the Drummonds' gym...well, that wasn't the perfect game of pretend, but at least it was something she could draw from. There hadn't been very many open-to-the-public mutant fights; that is to say, there hadn't been any. But the powered fights had been fun, and she had always 'pulled her punches' in a way. She had never used her electrokinesis; she hadn't had enough control back then. Here though, with this fight, she could unleash.

Entering the gym, Andy looked at the judges. She didn't know the staff here but had been told their names: Ser Nemo and Usagi. Andy had seen enough anime before her time-travel experience to know what Usagi meant. She also had been informed Ser Nemo's field of expertise, and boy, was that a coincidence she didn't want to think about too much. Neither was exactly what she had expected. Especially Usagi. She frowned, looking at the pair now a bit uncertain which was which. Her expectations...Andy shook the thought away as the judges informed her it was time to start.

Andy squared off with the Golem. She wasn't certain what to expect from it. So she went in for a quick move, her fist lighting up with crackling energy. It was going to be a solid hit. But it moved faster than she had ever had an opponent move that wasn't a speedster (she hated speedsters). It was gone just as she was about to connect with the punch.

She recovered quickly. A small smile appeared on her face. This would be fun. The last fight she had had had been with Leah. Technically the last two fights. Maybe it was her thoughts being too distracted, thinking of other fights and not the current one. Or maybe it was that she had recently thought of the Drummonds. Whatever the reason, Andy's form was not as crisp as normal. However, the Golem seemed to have moved too fast and was off balance. She punched up, hoping to knock it the rest of the way off balance, bringing forth a charge of electricity as well. Electricity crackled from her hand, spreading across the chest of the Golem.

It was hard to know how much damage was done. For now, it was still standing. She dropped a couple of the disks from her pocket. Letting them fall to the floor. She moved slightly, only about ten degrees. Leaving those disks on the floor behind her. Hopefully, the Golem didn't notice. There was also no indication from the judges of their opinions, which was fine for Andy. She didn't want to know what they were thinking.

Andy pushed all the other things away. She focused on the Golem. She had chosen MMA because it allowed her to be creative. She kicked the Golem. It caught her foot, but she let lightning go. It sparked up its arms. Her adrenaline spiked. The Golem let go of her foot, and swung at her. She wondered why it didn't use her foot against her. It was as she was dodging that punch and wondering that when Andy realized it was a feint. It was almost too late, but her enhanced reflexes gave her the edge she needed. She slipped under the real attack. As she did she dropped a few of the metal disks.

Coming back up from her dodge she was now a few more degrees around the Golem. She had gotten maybe a quarter around it. The metal coins were like the breadcrumbs of her path. Andy punched at the Golem, arching electricity into the punch. The Golem was starting to look a little worse for wear. It grabbed her arm and threw her.

That was unexpected. Andy hit the floor sliding a bit. The Golem started to move toward her. She couldn't have that. She needed it at least near the metal disks. She got up and rushed it. The Golem swung at her and she half dodged it. There was going to be a nasty bruise there later. That was fine. Bruises were something Andy had lived with.

Andy was able to get in a kick and a punch. The Golem was still close to the metal disks. She needed to end this fight soon. She dropped low, leaving a few of the disks in her wake. The Golem kicked at her. Andy grabbed its leg and flipped it to the ground. She didn't have a lot of experience with grapple-type fighting. Judo had been something she had considered learning but just hadn't had the time.

Because of that, she used the Golem's time to get up to drop a few more disks. She was now more than halfway around it. The Golem also showed no observation of the disks. She was close. It finished standing and she kicked it in the side, electricity sparking down her leg and into the Golem. It pulled her and she lost her balance. But that was fine.

Andy flipped onto her hands, freeing her leg, and then landed crouching with her hands out to either side of her. The metal disks surrounded the Golem. Electricity sparked from her hands and hit the first of the disks on both sides of her. That then jumped to the next and then the next until it had the Golem surrounded completely.

She smiled at it. The Golem only stared at her. It made no move as if it was trying to calculate what Andy was up to. And she increased the electricity. Pushing almost as hard as she had in the mock fight with Magneto. The room smelled of ozone now. The electricity pulsed and jumped from the disks to the Golem. For a moment Andy thought it would have no effect.

Then the Golem seemed to shut down. It dropped to the floor. The electricity still pulsing into it. Some of the lights overhead sparked. Andy stopped.

She exhaled. And looked up to the judges.

Their faces. It was impossible to tell what they were thinking. But both had scribbled some notes and then Ser Nemo (well who Andy thought was Ser Nemo) said, "You can go now. You should receive a copy of our critiques by tomorrow."

"Thank you." She wondered if she could take the disks, she had a few left in her pocket and maybe Zari or someone had more she could get. Actual coins wouldn't be as conducive. Eh, she'd worry about it later. She gave a bit of a bow and left.

Ed Penior

Location: Asteroid (Group: Mary, Flynn, and Perry)
Skills:

Ah, stories. Ed considered the ones he had. Many were tragic. He could find the good in some of the situations, but they had sort of failed their last mission. They had gone to space to find Lance's dad. They hadn't.

"It may be that Mary is a better source of stories then. I only have a couple of missions with the group. I think the best one would be when we played Jumanji. That at least has a satisfactory ending." Ed paused realizing that playing Jumanji wasn't as horrifying as it sounded. "And when I say Jumanji. I mean it was live. We almost destroyed the Statue of Liberty."

Rose Buckner

Location: Inside Maleficent’s Castle
Skills:

Rose guessed that the woman might be Snow White, but she couldn't be certain. Not without asking or having Merlin there. She hadn't heard anything about Snow White yet. She crossed over joining Cassi on the other side.

"I'm proud of you hun." She said kneeling beside her. She let Cassi catch her breath. But was there ready to help her up when she was ready.

Colby Jackson

Location: Rapunzel's Tower - Outside
Skills:

"Cool thank you." Colby told Rapunzel. He marked the page and turned to follow the men. He didn't know any of their names. "Uh, hey. I'm Colby and this is Maddie." He said with a grin.

"Thanks for letting us join." He did not want to be cooped up here any longer. An hour would be nice to get away from the tower for a bit. He suspected that the whole group would be gathered by the time they got back.

Ed Penior

Location: Asteroid (Group: Mary, Flynn, and Perry)
Skills:

Mary had seemed somewhat reluctant to contact Guin. And Ed thought about the fact that he was the one who suggested it. His stomach tightened. He had seen a version of himself that didn't care about the family laws. That person had made him very uncomfortable. He knew now that something could get him to break those laws. He was lucky that the version here hadn't gotten to that point.

Once Mary sent the message, Ed focused on the problem on hand. He could worry about morality and the laws when he wasn't stuck in space...again.

Ed hoped that they might be alright since Mr. Punchable hadn't been hostile. He did keep the tiny shield he carried for his spell craft in his hand, ready to cast if someone did decide to be hostile. He then started down the path opposite of Bethany, Annie, Mira, and Neil.

When Perry asked for juicy stories, he smiled a bit, "What sort of stories do you mean?"

MZ-33, Protocol Droid
29 pts (Light-Side)

Emzie looked down at the BD unit. "Bwooep." They responded in kind. Emzie continued on in Droidspeak, "Have you been kept busy?" A droid with a purpose was a happy droid. Not that the BD unit probably had anything resembling emotions. Emzie liked to believe they didn't, but even that was an emotion they ignored. They had more than most. Emzie had opinions. Though, they kept those mostly to themselves and occasionally Raynor. Such opinions included ones about the mission Raynor had been assigned.

Emzie had, of course, read the documentation about the situation. They knew the droid couldn't have done that on its own. Even Emzie couldn't do that on their own. And their programming had room for firing a blaster at actual flesh and blood types. All cases basically required them to be attacking one of Emzie's charges. Not to forget that Raynor had made a point of quietly teaching Emzie how to use a lightsaber.

"I'm really tired. But I'd rather put as much distance between us and those horses as possible. I've had to do longer treks." Andy had traveled a lot on foot in her few years. So yes, she was tired. But she also knew how to keep going. Especially on a full stomach. Food was a must if you were going without sleep.

Andy also wanted to be somewhere relatively safe. The house had felt safe enough, but that hadn't turned out well. And she had no desire to sleep out in the open here. It was a good thing they had already agreed to help Damon out. He didn't have a house to go back to now. It'd be overrun by flesh-eating horses.

Location: Hotel
Skills: Mist Control

"Bring those in. We'll have to figure out what to do with them. I'm going to try to repair the door." Niah sheathed her sword. She supposed it wasn't really repairing the door but making it look like it was repaired. What mattered was that it lasted until they were long gone. Thankfully their names weren't really down for the room, and it wasn't like they'd be able to hunt them down. As long as none of them decided to come back to this particular hotel again, it hopefully wouldn't be an issue.

Niah pulled up the image of the undamaged door in her mind. Comparing it with what the ones down the hall looked like too. She pulled at the Mist and felt it coalesce around the door. It looked undamaged. She wouldn't say good as new. But it was serviceable.

"Alright, was it time for my shift? Or can I sleep a bit longer?" She asked the other two. Using the Mist had tired her out a bit. The fight had woken her up, though. She could do either at this point.

Skills: Enhanced Reflexes (Passive)

"Too bad you didn't like break her nose or something. She had a very punchable face." Andy sighed a little whimsically at the idea. "Anyway, it's this thing apparently called the Framework. You can go into it and like have mock fights at full power without risking actual damage."

Andy explained as they started walking toward the gym. "There was another kid there, a senior, installing Mario Kart. I love Mario Kart. I haven't played it in ages." An understatement. It had been a few years for her, but time was silly. She knew it might not be a good idea to bring up that she played it on the Wii.
