If you can read that. Then as long as I have time. I'm happy to Roleplay with you. I'm okay with my French, but don't expect a Masters Thesis level of French from me.

I'm also cool with Roleplaying in English though!

Yoshina smiled at the Firetail's response. "Great! I'll be sure to bring my horse then, I'm sure everyone will like what dried fish and rice crackers will taste like." She finished, quickly running towards her horse and untying him from the tree. "Daijobu daijobu." She comforted the stallion. Seemingly agitated at his master's new appearance. "We're just going to be going on a short adventure okay? Nothing out of the ordinary, you've carried me throughout battles before, this will just be a walk in the park."

Some stroking of the horse's mane and carresses later, and Yoshina was already on top of the horse, her covered Naginata on her back and nodded at Shina's instructions. "10 miles south, sooo roughly 3 Ri or less..." She mumbled. "Should be doable in a brisk walk, especially for a force this small. Let's go then!"

Yoshina feels excited. This is probably the first time she's ever gone on adventure in this westerly place, everyone can feel her excitement as she paces the fastest out of the group, constantly motioning everyone to keep up with her as her enthusiasm visibly made her faster in her journey. Yoshina also kept her Naginata under her cloth wrapping, making sure no one sees what her polearm looks like, she didn't mention anything, but one can feel a visible aura of unease just thinking about asking her about her weapon. Still, one soul might or might not be brave enough to ask the Sangakuan Princess about her weapon.

Amanda was busy talking with the police chief when she heard the entire team coming in, Dura and Astfridur included. She heard a litany fo questions from multiple agents, and decided that the time is right to answer all of them.

"All right, settle down, settle down." Amanda motioned the group. "Yes, we are currently going to the second site now, but unfortunately, agents Dura Mor and Astfridur Runmaheim will be going to America for the moment. I've already arranged for transportation to Frankfurt airport using that Elven chaffeur, but yeah. Say your goodbyes, and once you're finished. I'll answer your questions afterwards."

She then hugged both Dura and Astfridur, waving them goodbye before turning towards the rest of the group. Firstly answering Ross's question.

"Yep." Amanda promptly replied to Ross. "I think that we can go now. I've just talked to the Police Chief about the whole thing. And he told me that he's going to clean up and hand it over to the Municipal government once all is clear. Just electronically submitted a report while talking to him as well, so no need for paperwork on your side once we leave here."

Amanda then turns towards Avi. "Hey! Good to see you back, was wondering where you were all this time, but yeah, pretty sure everyone's prepared." She said, looking at the rest of the group and only nodding. "Let's just leave this place and go to the place mentioned by the manifest."

...

The ride was uneventful, Amanda looking more interested in the views of the German countryside than she was driving. Much to the concern and worry of the crew. Thankfully for them she was an Android, and her computational abilities already makes up for the very concerning. They thankfully reached the compound though.

And it's a total mess.

"Jezz, just what are they thinking?" Amanda thought, opening the door to the house before her reflexes quickly registered what was happening and she grabbed a flown arrow bolt right on time. She was startled, but her shock quickly turned into disappointment as she looked at the team, and her eyes switched to her scanning mode. "Okay, this is a hot mess." She mentioned. "Land-mines, bobby trapped crossbows and guns, grenade traps, trap doors leading to metal spikes. It seems like someone has something to hide here."

I detected three rooms, each of them incredibly protected, you guys have any ideas on how we should disable these? I am not walking there myself and getting purposefully shot again by the way." She finished, visibly concerned with the entire situation. "If those rooms at the top of this two story house is that heavily bobby trapped, then that means they're guarding something damn valuable. Hence my initial apprehension."

"I did mention that gangers are working with this criminal syndicate right? Not surprised by the weapons at all. That Crossbow's must be damn expensive. Look at that thing, carbon fiber frame and composite materials all around. Must cost a little fortune getting this thing set up like that."

Yoshina, still wearing her maid outfit. Decided that the urgency of the situation warranted that she don't change and quickly convened with the group. I guess I'll have to be a combat maid then Yoshina thought. It's not the weirdest thing I have ever done, but I certainly won't be telling this to my brother or my retinue when I return to Sangaku. She was further relieved when Minnow quickly issued her approval for the quest, that's one hurdle overcame. Now, comes the really, really interesting part.

The description of the person in question. And when Shina described him, a quick mental image of a grizzled old soldier popped into her mind, she's sure that this is the closest she can get to picturing the guy without actually meeting him. This is important if she was to not kill him accidentally, combat can become pretty messy. "Well, I have no other questions regarding him, I'll just wait until you give the signal and we can depart immediately."

And then, as usual, the dragon and the privateer got into a commotion, Yoshina decided that she has expended more than enough energy dealing conflicts between the dragon and literally anyone, and stood silent, silently watching as the commotion goes by, with Shina returning and having brought up all her gear. Yoshina quickly went into the tavern, grabbed her Naginata, and went back into the group. "So I do have a horse bringing my belongings, how long will the journey into this person's last known location be? I have provisions that can last for weeks should this adventure be long enough."

@RedPandaGamer@Searat@Goldeagle1221

Yoshina could only agree at the other elf trying to dissuade the Dark Elf Woman. "Please listen to reason Minnow." She pleaded. "I have fought dragons before, and they are not particularly fun endeavors, trust me. I should know, I've fought too many battles for someone as young as me."

Yoshina then proceeded to take up Minnow on her offer. She needed a place to stay and income, and 1 silver doesn't sound all that bad. "Sure, but I'm pretty sure the patrons won't be too pleased with me wearing this outfit." She outlined her current clothes. "This is suited for more of a rough and tumble adventurer rather than a barmaid or waitress. I'm sure that you have something lined up in the back."

She went towards the back of the tavern, and, much to her surprise, and embarrassment. She unearthed a particular piece of clothing she least desired. "Oh of fucking course." She muttered, bringing the outfit towards the front, confronting Minnow with the piece of clothing.

"Are you serious?" She said, showing the black and white dress with the frills and all the accessories associated with it. "You could've just said it out front you know? I know a maid outfit when I see them and... ugh!" Before Minnow could even reply, Yoshina went back to the tavern and promptly changed her outfit. Visibly blushing, and completely embarrassed, she returned back to the front of the bar. "I hope you're happy Minnow, I'm very sure your customers would be very pleased seeing me in a-"

She didn't managed to finish her sentence, and her eyes widened up when Shina and the group burst in and see her in the new outfit. A shocking change from her more practical clothes. Yoshina could just curl up and die from the embarrassment alone. Being visibly seen in this new outfit, an outfit incompatible with her personality at all..

She really wanted to just curl up, a Princess should not be wearing this kind of clothing, let alone be seen in public in a servant's outfit, and yet, she couldn't say no to a quest offer. Putting her embarrassment aside, she volunteered. "Yeah, sure. I can go, only if Minnow would allow me to go though." She eyed Minnow, her eyes practically pleading to the dark elf to let her go just for this once.

"....Eh?"

Serving? As in, a waitress?

As in the women who she was served food to during her many times visiting an Izakaya in Yoshika? Or during her time visiting Hinoki's red light district? Or maybe that time when she was staying at an onsen in Shomita and she was greeted by waitresses that are more than willing to do every 'request' she made?

Even when it was a joke?

Well, at least there was cooking. But her time spent traveling was more about learning the customs of the people of various lands, in terms of food... well, she preferred eating the food compared to being served food. So the only types of cuisine she know of is...

Sangakuan. Heavy on Rice and specific types of meats and vegetables native to her islands.

"Umm. I don't know about serving... I don't think I want lecherous eyes peering at me or something." Yoshina hesitated. "I can cook, but only Sangakuan cuisine, but... Ah screw it! I'm okay with serving, is there some special outfit I need to wear or something?"

Yoshina was already regretting her decision to be a waitress, she is not someone you would typically think of as having features desirable for a waitress. She's not patient, she's not demure, and she is definitely not cheery. All her stories usually involve intrigues at the court or some sort of battle where she distinguished herself, not exactly something patrons would like to hear. But nonetheless, a promise is a promise.

Her conversation with Minnow though was interrupted by the sudden transformation of Farrah, the fainting of the mage, and the Night Elf suddenly grabbing a broom out of all weapons, when all was said and done. She could only shake her head as the two Elves were visibly scared and thinking in a panicky manner, not something she was happy in seeing.

"Hey, don't worry about that dragon." She responded to both the Elf Academician and Bartender. "Probably just went and stretch her wings or something, just don't bother her and it should be alright. I have talked to her, and she is not someone that wants to destroy the village, so please, don't provoke the dragon if you don't have to. Alright?"

"Oh, right!" She turned finally to Minnow. "Do you have a room where I can stay for the night? I just came here and I don't have any lodgings for the day. I have some baggage from my horse that needed unloading."

The revelation from Faye about the portal's origin was highly concerning for Amanda. Minsk? Belarus? This investigation looks to be significantly expanding in scope, and Amanda feels like this is unraveling a thread one by one from a ball of yarn, you don't know how long it'll take you, but you know this is going to take a while. Well, no matter, Amanda can schedule a short flight to Minsk by the week, and it she can also coordinate with the local Minsk office once this day's finished.

And it's looking like it's almost finished already. Shutting her eye projectors down, Amanda did not expect to hear two sudden notifications in her internal comms systems.

It only reads:
Agents Astfridur and Dura will be reassigned to two separate cases in America.
Priority: Urgent.
Case Type: Auxiliary, Criminal Investigation.
Estimated Time for task completion: Unknown.

Note: Sorry for this, but all the agents in North America's busy doing some other stuff, and this is just some busy work where I need both agents in hand, I'm pretty sure you have the case in hand with all your current agents. Just call me in case you need more agents or something.

-Vicky

Dammit! Well, if the head honcho in Philly okayed the transfer, then Amanda doesn't have much to go for recourse does it?

Damn Vicky, here I am, thinking that we're best buds and all. And then here you are, taking 2 of my team members away like that. Amanda thought.

She had a... complicated relationship with Vicky. More like a friendly rivalry with each other, Vicky, or Victoria Miles, or Unit 4C. Was another Female Android Unit that survived the assault, and also currently a rising star Android Agent within the OMR. A specialist in combat strategies and firefights, she and Amanda had frequently clashed with each other, and it sort of became a running theme in OMR's North America Branch of these two Androids and their rivalry.

And it seems like Vicky just undercut her yet again...

"Yeah, gals. I have some bad news." She summoned Morgana, Faye and Micheal. "Oh, good job summoning Ross Crane. It's a pretty creative solution, but I don't know if Ross will respond though, might wanna check him out for real this time."

"But anyway, it seems that Agents Astfridur and Dura will be reassigned to a case in America. There's probably some internal wrangling going on, but unfortunately I can't appeal the decision. Yeah, I have to let them go sadly."

"BUT! I do have some good news though." She continued, hoping that the next fact will cheer them up. "I have this." She unfurled a manifest from her skirt pocket. "A transport manifest where all recent deliveries are noted. The most recent one? A house just outside of Frankfurt, literally a 10 minute drive from this local area. We could potentially encounter enemies though, so I suggest that you prepare to fight some baddies. I mean, if nobody's interested in further investigating the site, I can go by myself, but I don't think that'll be optimal since I lack sufficient magical aptitude."

"So uhh, yeah. Say goodbye to Astfridur and Dura, but let's go and investigate this site!" She cheered.

Yeah, even she knows that Astfridur and Dura going is an unquestionable loss for the team. The few cases she heard where such a thing has happened usually takes a longer time to finish, and with a reduced morale from the team overall. She has to consult the local Frankfurt database on how to improve the team's morale once all the business of the day's finished.

Seeing the conversation finishing, Yoshina finally managed to gather a glimpse of the social fabric within this town. Seems like a very close knit community, and yet, unlike most small communities, it manages to be very dynamic and open-minded at the same time. The way they immediately opened up to Yoshina, and the interaction between the Half-Elf and bartender seems enough for her to know that this small town would be a most excellent base of operations during her travels to this land.

Now, back to current issues. "Hey uhh, so about that job?" Yoshina asked the Night Elf? "What am I supposed to do? Is it some artifact recovery? Slaying some ravaging beasts? Or perhaps something I didn't even consider?" She curiously waited for an answer from the barkeep, putting her Naginata to good use is something she always enjoyed, despite not enjoying the act of killing other humans and sentient beings.

@RedPandaGamer@Goldeagle1221@Searat

"Finally!" She nearly screamed. Happy at the serving of food in front of her, the infamous Croogal Eggs and Zaft Soup, she's been waiting for seemingly eternity to had her hands over these foods, and happily enough, they did not disappoint. Now, most Sangakuans would be revolted at the sight of pickled green eggs and an orangish creamy soup that deserves more to be a condiment than a dish. But, combined with the good bread on the side, Yoshina ate her fill quickly and ravenously. Quickly finishing her breakfast and happy at a good meal.

"Omoshiroi-nee." She spoke, her face clearly satisfied with a good breakfast, stomach filled, and now recharged. She looks like a person that can tackle all the happenings in this little village. Nothing speaks peace than a content village with a happy populace. And just as she was about to hear the Elf's offer, another commotion suddenly occured. She turned her head only to see a someone just finished using a magic spell, and inviting the ire of the innkeeper and the attention of the fire-tailed woman.

Yeah, I'm going to sit this one out. Let's have them bicker among themselves.

And with that, Yoshina went back to her usual mannerisms. Observing as the Innkeeper and Mage started bickering, it's not like she can leave anyway, she's got a job lined up, and the Innkeeper hasn't told her what are the jobs parameters are.

@RedPandaGamer@Goldeagle1221

A firetail, so that's what they call themselves here. Admittedly Yoshina was ignorant of the customs of the people in this land, but alright then. Perhaps calling these people firetails is appropriate for the situation.

Man, all that discussion is making her even more hungry, and, staring at the Pig person, very busy and still looking at the menu. Yoshina decided to take the initiative. "Umm, madam? Can I get the croogal eggs and Zaft soup please? Oh, and perhaps any tea you have available" She asked the night elf. "I've been hearing people praising those two foods ever since I entered this village, might as well get some myself." She then proceeded to take some gemstones from her purse and give it to her. "I assume that these gemstones would be more than sufficient? I have coins, but they're Sangakuan mintage and probably not applicable here."

Turning her head back to the firetail, and hearing her offer. Yoshina smiled at her offer. "Yes, that would be great, but unfortunately I don't have any coins of the local mintage that I can pay you for. I need to do some jobs that might earn me some local coin, perhaps help an errand or two. I might need to ask people around the tavern though, perhaps you know some jobs I can take?"

@Forsythe@RedPandaGamer

Yoshina saw the dragon woman rapidly order a ton of food, and the Tanuki-Onna sitting right besides her. It has been a rapid escalation of tensions followed by a fast deescalation, definitely a time for increased stress for her, and Yoshina secretly thinks this adventuring business might be bad for her long term health, but all's well that ends well. "Well, we got that sorted out." She whispered to herself, now comfortably hanging out with the Tanuki and the Dragon.

She also noticed that the dragon called herself Ashwing, a very aggressive name for undoubtedly a very aggressive creature, "My name is Yoshina Shizue, of house Shizue." She introduced herself to the duo. "Currently princess of the reigning family in Sangaku, and traveling in these lands to spread peace."

Her explanation was cut short however, when the Tanuki-Onna suddenly brought up about her family's death and the circumstances that brought her here. "I am very sorry for your loss. Losing family and friends like that can be a very tough experience even for the most coldhearted of persons."

She then put her hand besides the Raccoon woman's shoulders. Seemingly trying to comfort her even more "What's your name?" She asked. "I don't know what your name is, and I'm pretty sure you won't like being called Tanuki-Onna over and over. I also might need of your smithing services should my weapon break or deform during my adventures here, so a name for me to remember would be nice."
