There weren't many awful things like what was happening to her right now in Kalie's mind. The sewer got even more disgusting by the deluge of heavy disgusting water. It blindsided everyone in her group, including the other people they went to save.

'Utterly disgusting, blindsided by disgusting shit water of all things. Fucking hell, I am not enjoying this at all.'

She held her breath as the best as she could and feel someone tightening their grip on her hand, which could be Rael's. In the back of Kalie's mind, she was relieved that one of her comrades saved her by holding onto her hand. She didn't want to sigh, though, or it'll allow her to get water in her mouth that was awful tasting. Still, it could be a whole lot worse that would suck, though.

'I don't want to know how that water tastes.'

Kalie had her breath break, which caused a rush of water to enter her mouth. She wanted to get out of the water as quickly as possible, and she pushed upward. Her thoughts were rushing to the time Kalie did go to a YMCA with her parents. Thankfully, she does know how to swim, but in this place, her body was so much more different in certainties. Dawn Sarah Hughes wasn't as good at swimming as Kalie Augustine since the latter has enhancement magic flowing through her body. She kept up with the one who held her hand, thankfully.

Kalie looked over and saw Rael would be the one holding her hand, which gave her a helping hand. Also, she saw the other one that Rael saved too. A reassuring look on her face, but they still have to get out of this hell of water. She was a bit depressed that not many people made it, though.

'Ugh, eww, I will never want to taste that water again. Also, how many baths will I have to take to feel clean again?'

When the water broke, and Kalie could breathe again.

The blonde American girl was ecstatic when Rael helped her up to the stone surface. Kalie saw Graves and Alja at the exact moment as Rael and was happy that they were alive. Other than that, Kalie was so disgusted and couldn't help but cough up the liquid that entered her mouth, which was atrocious. She felt the magic of the healer girl go over her to lessen the nasty effects of the appalling water to be normalized. Kalie would never forget the taste as long as Kalie lived. It's not like she would want to drink shit-tasting water ever.

Kalie heard the healer's voice and couldn't help but kept coughing for a bit. Though, that's when Rael would wave the healer girl off and said I'm fine. "I'm fine too, but I wouldn't want to experience that again in my lifetime." Kalie said. She did wave at Graves and Alja, who were sitting by each other. All the while, Kalie put her left hand to hold onto her right hand because that was a trifling a bit annoying to her.

Jocelyn's Appearance

Jocelyn used to have long hair, which got in the way much of the time. Her hair length was comparable to her mother’s in how unruly it was. She tamed her hair by cutting it shorter and has looked much happier with the size. Only because it is for a reason, her hair gets thinner for the longer it gets. She has to use a specific type of conditioner to revitalize the hair strands on a microscopic level. Her hair usually smells of Lilacs and Buttercups, with a hint of vanilla. Also, there is an air of knowing what to do even if no one else wants to do it; it is why she parties and enjoys life while she can.

Jocelyn wears the Christian cross on her neck, but it keeps up appearances around her parents. In actuality, this Christian Cross transforms into a mysterious religious symbol that has no such history anywhere on Earth. She worships the religion’s symbol because its beliefs coincide with hers. Also, Jocelyn does hear whispers coming from it. Prophecies answer only a select few individuals who wish to follow our will and guide them. As an Emissary of this religion, she wears the Emissary of Precipice Dress specifically for her position in the faith or what she believes is her position from the words of her religious symbol.

Jocelyn wears many different outfits, but the specific one she wears while flying her Space Superiority Interceptor is the X83J-VIEL Pilot Uniform. She wears the standard-issue dress uniform of the Ascendancy of Man’s Military as a Space Superiority Interceptor Pilot. It seems weird, but Jocelyn’s much more comfortable in dresses, or her uniform does have the body language of someone that doesn’t mind anyone as long as they dance with her. Jocelyn is gorgeous and uses de-aging biotech upgrades and Rejuvenating Beauty Biotech to keep her looking like she’s in her early twenties instead of her early thirties.

Jocelyn is one of those types of women that would, in all honesty, chat the light away with anyone that wants to listen, but she does have a specific go-getter attitude. She never shies away from what she looks like but can complement very well. Her commitment to herself is highly in there, and she would love to settle down one day, but today isn’t that day. Jocelyn has a beautiful lovely voice when singing and other such things. Her body language isn’t too fussed at compliments from other women or men, and she quite easily swings both ways.

It’s a bit strange when her sleepwear is conservative and doesn’t show off what she can do or looks like in it. Jocelyn is a unique individual that would instead deal with the dynamics of the day over the night. She talks with children much since she would rather see their day instead of any trauma they feel. However, most of the traumatized children had their families ripped apart by the cruelty of the 11th Fleet.

Her accent is a mix of Italian, West Coast American, and East European. It is hard to pinpoint where exactly her family lived on Earth since they have homes in all the cities on Earth.

Drakkal ‘Auger’ X07E-GUST (Space Superiority Interceptor)

Jocelyn’s Space Superiority Interceptor is the experimental Drakkal Aerospace Engineering Core created for the Ascendency. It makes the other fighter projects created by the TLI Research Institute and the Hadley In-Vector Corporation fail compared to the Auger. Auger can switch out four configurations for different tasks or goals of the pilot or who asked. Alpha is its base configuration since it is the most well-rounded for its primary role as a Space Superiority Interceptor. In terms, all of the Configurations share the vertical takeoff and landing system, capability to shift into a Planetary Superiority Interceptor on a dime. Also, it is equipped with an experimental Interceptor-sized space warper called the X07E-GUST, which boasts better performance than a frigate or cruiser-sized space warper.

Auger is equipped with a stealth system that makes it look like it’s disappearing and reappearing on the radar every few seconds. As if it is skipping through space, but the Drakkal Aerospace Engineering Core didn’t create stealth technology to cloak their Interceptors or other fighters. It’s based on a coat of silverish paint on the hull of the Interceptor that deflects radar markings. The Engineering Core that built the Space Superiority Interceptor has its symbol on one of the wings, with Jocelyn’s Markings underneath the name of her Interceptor. Also, it can be remote-controlled by Jocelyn’s Omnitool. Auger has an extra storage bay to put clothes, personal weapons, and other such things. Some portions of this storage bay allow her to keep food fresher if it stays on its cold side.

There are two ways for the Auger to change its configurations by the pilot inside the Interceptor or outside. Inside there is a switch to change configurations from Alpha to Zeta Configuration. Outside, Jocelyn requires the use of the Drakkal X93E-Gamma Omnitool to change the layout.

Alpha Armament Configuration (First Configuration)

Drakkal Auger X07E-GUST Space Superiority Interceptor’s First Configuration goes through the armaments equipped on it. The weapon systems on the first configuration are two triple wing-mounted laser cannons and two dual gun nose-mounted 45mm Coilguns. Also, as a mixed missile armament of heat seekers and radar-guided missiles, up to six total.

Beta Armament Configuration (Second Configuration)

Drakkal Auger X07E-GUST Space Superiority Interceptor’s Second Configuration goes through the armaments equipped on it. The weapon systems on the second configuration are two twin wing-mounted plasma cannons and two twin cannon nose-mounted 30mm Laser Cannons. Also, it has a mixed missile armament of two rocket pods and radar-guided missiles, up to six in total. Including a single undercarriage anti-capital ship torpedo launcher that carries up to two torpedoes but can only fire one at a time.

Gamma Armament Configuration (Third Configuration)

Drakkal Auger X07E-GUST Space Superiority Interceptor’s Third Configuration goes through the armaments equipped on it. The weapon systems on the third configuration are four single wing-mounted 50mm Coilguns and a singular nose-mounted quad cannon 40mm Plasma Cannon. Also, it has added two plasma 30mm gun pods and two laser 30mm gun pods. It includes a single undercarriage long-ranged drone to detect ships from a long distance properly.

Zeta Armament Configuration (Fourth Configuration)

Drakkal Auger X07E-GUST Space Superiority Interceptor’s Fourth Configuration goes through the armaments equipped on it. The weapon systems on the fourth configuration are two twin quad wing-mounted 30mm Coilguns and a singular nose-mounted triple 30mm Laser Cannon. It also has additional fuel storage for long flights and two heat-seeking missiles. It includes a single undercarriage laser pointer to paint targets for larger ships to target smaller ones.

Life & Hell Seed Katanas copied the Diffuser Sword's Diffuser Field with its ability to create a frontal cone shield and lessened damage from any laser-type weapon. Also, the Precipice Life Seed Katana is lighter to wield only because of its specialized construction.

The Katana's magic only wields two magic spells tied to the two magic schools. It is a sentient blade, but the Life Seed Katana wishes to keep Jocelyn whole.

It is a magic sword with runic symbols that glow demonically because the runes spell out a demon on its blade. The High and World Magics it wields are specifically aimed only to be offensive. It is a cursed blade, which must always be dual-wielded with its sister blade, the Precipice Life Seed Katana. Before it was a Katana, it was in the shape of a Western European Blade, which shapeshifted itself into what it is now is. It copied a single ability from any known Katana weapon when both sibling blades are out, which Jocelyn saw in action. Calvin & Debra, the Dual Charged Laser Pistols

Calvin & Debra’s Pictures - Dual Charged Laser Pistols

Calvin and Debra used to be called Calhoun & Deidre and owned by the renowned Dual-Wield Weapon Specialist Estelle D. Windfall. Jocelyn honored these two weapons by calling them Calvin and Debra and altering their appearance. Debra is customized differently to Calvin in its pleasing aesthetic violet in color and musical notes with the name of the gun placed on the barrel. In contrast, Calvin is painted green with vines and flower imagery with the gun’s name similarly placed on the barrel. Both pistol’s mechanisms allow it to be charged up to three levels from a non-charged laser pulse. These pistols require a cooldown time of anywhere three minutes or three hours between each charged laser burst.

These laser-charged shot levels cause detrimental effects towards people hit by them since the laser beam is more significant in size. In some cases, at three, the final set level is determined to kill another human by disintegration, but Jocelyn only uses the 3rd charged shot as a last resort. Jocelyn uses the first two authorized shot levels are usually used to stun or incapacitate an opponent without killing them for a few minutes up to thirty minutes.

Eye Improvement Biotech

Jocelyn has this biotech upgrade to have perfect 20/20 vision without needing to wear glasses. Before getting this biotech upgrade for her eyes, she must wear glasses or contact lenses to read books and see far away. Also, it can alter her eye color to any color within a particular set spectrum of color, which is the opposite of her natural eye color of sky blue.

Rejuvenating Beauty Biotech

Jocelyn got this biotech upgrade to make her look ten years younger, only because a woman from a wealthy family in the homeworld of the Ascendancy needs to look her best. Also, it revitalizes her skin to be staying silky smooth and removes scars from her heart surgery.

Heart Improvement & Strengthening Biotech

At a young age, Jocelyn was one of those children who frequently was ill and sick, primarily because of her weak heart. Until her parents hired a biotech researcher to give her a new lease on life to do many activities previously, she couldn’t do. It strengthened and improved her heart to be able without getting a cybernetic heart. Therefore, the procedure required surgery to help her heart by adding another synthetic heart valve to her existing heart to help her with blood pumping. Also, there were many other synthetic biotech upgrades to her heart, so she doesn’t feel weak or ill. The combination of this and her other two biotech upgrades helped her become an Ace Interceptor Pilot.

The Drakkal X93E-Gamma Omnitool is a specialized omnitool for the capabilities of controlling the Drakkal X07E-GUST Space Superiority Interceptor remotely. It has everything on the Drakkal X07E-GUST Space Superiority Interceptor and the Drakkal X83J-VIEL Interceptor Pilot Uniform faculty. In terms, it can do diagnostics and other essential things on the Space Superiority Interceptor. Jocelyn can do repairs anywhere following the instructions from the Omnitool. The Drakkal Aerospace Engineer Core within a subset of the Drakkal Series of Space Superiority Interceptors deployment to the frontlines of war, before Ascendancy lost.

Jocelyn can contact the creator of the Drakkal X93E-Gamma, Drakkal X83J-VIEL, and Drakkal X07E-GUST, which is the Drakkal Aerospace Engineer Core that was relocated to a different sector of space in the Ascendancy. They were tasked to deploy a more multi-role type fighter over a specialized Interceptor. The Head Engineer is named Victoria D. Steele of a prominent family that knows Jocelyn’s family who lives on Earth. It is one of the fundamental reasons she joined the pilot core in the Ascendancy of Man. She learned of Victoria D. Steele’s creation of a Space Superiority Interceptor, which would revolutionize warfare. It did, but not many of the Grand Fleets used Fighters, Bombers, or Interceptors minus the 1st Fleet underneath Alexander Kherol.

Her Callsign is Thunder since she’s the only one to pass all the rigorous tests to be a pilot of her friend’s unique designed Space Superiority Interceptor. She even got to the rank of Captain in the Space Forces, only flying a Space Superiority Interceptor. Also, Jocelyn never wanted to fly in anything but an Interceptor commanding a squadron of them to intercept hostile forces. Her view was narrow, but she was great at what she was doing.

The Drakkal Feature Set

The Drakkal X93E-Gamma Omnitool feature set makes it top-of-the-line work based around the Military Structure of the Ascendancy. It has a Symbol of the Drakkal Aerospace Engineering Core in the background, which resembles her birthmark. Branded Features, communication, calculation, and augmented reality navigation with six subset features within. These six subset features are entwined with the user of the Omnitool with navigation to music and religion and set the quality of looking up her combat military data. Jocelyn has access to many recreational games, including chess and checkers but so much more.

There is a database of locations of importance to certain set people, Mars, Draken’vina, Earth, etc. All these worlds have one thing in common, they have traces of On the Precipice Religion, but her access to meet Nikolas, but he retired and is now living on his planet dealing with those Wyverns. Jocelyn is a bit frustrated with Nikolas, but he was one of the first people to notice. She’s from one of those families living on Earth and wondered why she hasn’t returned to her family yet. She told him to mind his own business since she knows his secrets and why he hides them. It caused him to shut up and leave her alone.

Jocelyn doesn’t care if you are a self-righteous honorable guy one minute and the next. You become a vindictive bastard wanting revenge on those who hurt you. She looked up to Nikolas R. Zahrin felt betrayed in learning what she learned on her tour of duty. Nikolas had a chip on his shoulder, and Jocelyn learned the truth of that chip. She only works for herself and is a free agent, to be hired by anyone with a pension to satisfy her needs of piloting her Interceptor.

Galactic Credits

Jocelyn is an heiress to the Rithsworn Family and was an Interceptor Pilot for the Ascendancy. She has 600,000 Galactic Credits, which are split between 300,000 on her and the rest is digital. Her net worth is still nothing compared to the Hadley Family and the Corporate Families on Mars or Earth.

Precipice Prophecy Guidance Religious Symbol

The Precipice Prophecy Guidance Religious Symbol is hidden as a Christian Cross when in the area of others. As an Emissary, when alone with the symbol, Jocelyn sees its proper form of a multitude of geometric third-dimensional shapes, which has a see-through material to see people whose prophecies have touched their lineage. On the Precipice Religion wants to guide these Prophets to Eternal Happiness. However, this guidance is more about alternating the most egregious prophecies out of their texts and turning them to good omens, portents based on birthmarks. It does glow a spectacular purplish silver color when it is near or can sense the presence of a prophet's lineage that rejected it with retaliation or retribution type of action against it or an Emissary. It has kept its secrets from Jocelyn of the reasons for it glowing on the Dragon's Claw during the Ascendancy-Coalition War.

In the center of the multitude of geometric third-dimensional shapes, have a double image of some sort. The first image of this double image is one of the people who have rejected its goals to gain more followers or emissaries. Its second image is far darker since it embodies the Emissary's greatest fears, by which it keeps Jocelyn and all the other Emissaries it retained throughout the ages loyal. As such, it brainwashes them to keep part of their original downtrodden personality intact, if they were morbid or dark or both by flaring their nature by any outside force like loss of a friend, etc. The only way the Emissary can realize they are being brainwashed is by taking it off. It urges you to keep the necklace on so it can keep you loyal to it.

Also, it makes the Emissary want to get the two artifact weapons, which will protect the Emissary from dying. Prophecies surround these two weapons, but they are pseudo-related to the Kaiosken as super-long distant cousins to the Kaiosken. These weapons are sentient and have abilities that will protect the Emissary of the OTP Religion. Also, there are shapes on either side of the Symbol as a Christian Cross or its real form, which symbolize demonic wings and raindrops, symbolizing the rebirth of life.

As such, there is a single message that the symbol tells to its Emissary, Jocelyn. It does have mixed words to give it a darker feel to signify its hold over her. This feels like two voices talking, but its more brainwashing-focused voice is its true voice. While it permeates the lie that the Emissaries are supposed to guide prophets, Jocelyn or none of the previous Emissaries knew this. Obey me, Emissary. May you help others to interpret their prophecies for our religion to grow. Your weaknesses significantly increase my hold over you, Emissary. Joining our faith could have stopped or avoided atrocities if those prophets listened to our Emissary's Words and not kept to their beliefs. That prideful fool destroyed his own family and gave in to a self-filling prophecy of his own making. I wish I could have brainwashed and distorted that child I sensed on the Dragon's Claw. Our Emissary will guide you correctly so you may not misinterpret them.

Drakkal X83J-VIEL Interceptor Pilot Uniform

The Drakkal X83J-VIEL Interceptor Pilot Uniform is specifically for the Space Superiority Interceptor X07E-GUST Pilots. This uniform is skin tight, but it tracks her vital systems and adjusts for increasing G-Forces in Dogfight conditions. Her helmet has many features that make ground-based combatants blush at how insanely prototyped it is. The tracking software of the Space Superiority Interceptor Fighter requires the helmet to keep up with the micro fractional calculations and other such things. Also, it helps Jocelyn track up to six starships at once and which ones are hostile and others that aren’t. She uses her judgment to ensure she doesn’t engage or destroy civilian targets unless they show aggressive action towards her. Another thing about these pilot uniforms is that they can change colors to the pilot’s mood to see if they need to be reevaluated for mental trauma. Jocelyn is the only one of these pilots that didn’t need any reevaluation.

The Tellius Raptor Squadron Photo

The Tellius Raptors was the Squadron’s Name that Jocelyn commanded during the Ascendancy-Coalition War. It was an Ace Squadron with Ace Pilots, but Jocelyn was the only one flying the Drakkal Auger X07E-GUST Space Superiority Interceptor. Her squadron only supported Fleets 1 - 10 and The Dragon’s Brigade Fleet. It is next to her medal of valor and excellence.

The Photo Album

There are many prominent figures in Jocelyn’s life that she admired, incredibly loyal or friends with them all. These were the people responsible for her rise to becoming an ace pilot. Victoria D. Steele, who ran the Drakkal Aerospace Engineering Core, was her first friend. Afterward, her friends grew and grew, including Alexander Kherol, the Grand Admiral of the 1st Fleet. Many others have shaped her into who she is, but she never forgets them no matter how far she is from them. Carver E. Willow will miss her heart since he helped her in many ways over how usual people respect others. He taught her the ropes, and he was honestly a kind and gentle soul that died before the final acts of the Ascendancy-Coalition War. His sister is still alive and carries on his legacy in the 1st Fleet as the Jealous Joker’s communication officer.

Jocelyn admired Nikolas R. Zahrin and his Fleet because of his honor code and lack of discrimination against where you were born or your position in the Ascendancy’s Hierarchy. Also, Jocelyn did duel Nikolas R. Zahrin in a one-on-one duel with her dual-weapon specialty to the master of his sword and lost. However, Nikolas had a chip on his shoulder. Jocelyn learned the real reason why he had that chip on his shoulder and the actual perspective on the Dragon’s Brigade Fleet. Jocelyn’s album holds other people’s faces that she met on Earth or otherwise, which would include Alexander’s second-in-command Kotaro Winterborn.

Precipice Life Seed Magic

Rejuvenation Healing (Change):

As a Rejuvenation Healing spell, it heals only Jocelyn as long as she holds the Precipice Life Seed Katana. Two hours before the Precipice Hell Seed Katana takes from Jocelyn's Lifeforce, she returns to a state previously. Precipice Life Seed Katana will slowly revert Jocelyn's injuries by combat by taking around up to thirty seconds.

Gravitic Arc Slash (World):

This spell affects the Gravity of anyone in a 30-degree arc when Jocelyn slashes the Precipice Life Seed Katana. It has segmented effects; the first effect can increase Gravity by 1.2X Earth's Gravity in a 10-ft radius within the arc, or decrease it by 1.2X Earth's Gravity in a 10-ft radius within the arc, or outright disable Gravity in a 10-ft radius by 15-ft high within the slash's arc. The Gravitic Slash's effects only last up to thirty minutes. Gravity's increase does harm people's bone structure lightly. Also, you can see the Gravitic Arc Slash as a blackish silver energy wave that travels in the sword slash's arc radius.

Precipice Hell Seed Magic

Magical Absorption (High):

Precipice Hell Seed Katana uses Magical Absorption to regain its magical energy. It absorbs magic from three sources involving Jocelyn, where she stands, the air she breathes, and her life force. Lifeforce taken from Jocelyn causes her to become Lightheaded, feel weak, and require a good night's sleep. It cannot kill Jocelyn by taking her Lifeforce. Also, it requires Jocelyn to hold and wield the Precipice Hell Seed Katana for her lifeforce or magical energies to be gathered.

Flame Decimation Slash (World):

The Katana's Blade is covered in hot flames, but it doesn't seem to affect Jocelyn as much. Jocelyn can wield the weapon with only feeling the soothing heat coming off the edge. Some iron and steel metallic objects will be hot to the touch. Anyone hit by this weapon's magic will have 1st Degree Burns to 2nd Degree Burns, but it's easily dodgeable since it only goes in a straight line.

Personality:
Jocelyn has a darker morbid personality, but it flares up from time to time. Only it's when she feels vulnerable such as losing someone she cares for or otherwise. Other than that, she has a quite adjusted personality that is friendly and outright hopeful for the future. Jocelyn didn't have much hope in her system when Jocelyn was younger because most doctors had biased attitudes towards her family. It did help that she gained a religious symbol that told her to keep to hope rather than despair but look to it for guidance in this cruel world of reality. Jocelyn became the Emissary for the On the Precipice Religion, which is ancient and has no clear distinctive origin point near the Sol System. It looks like a Christian Cross, but in reality, it's something more based on prophecies.

Jocelyn wants to spread this faith by any means necessary and wants to make friends and people she would respect, be loyal to, and admire. She isn't a stereotypical woman born on Earth, but Jocelyn is in the minority of Coreworlders. The norm would be hating on where you were born or if you weren't rich or using Cybernetics; Jocelyn doesn't discriminate. It was because her experiences shaped her. She speaks heartwarmingly to the people she has met and misses after they perished in the Ascendancy-Coalition War. Jocelyn is quite happy when the only family that is well hated was wiped out, and she cheered, which was the Jensen Family. She had the displeasure of meeting Berkeley R. Jensen, and his sister was quite fond of butchering civilians, and that family was a stain on the Ascendancy.

All the people she admires are loyal to or respects are in a photo album of hers since it positively affects her life. Jocelyn wouldn't have become one of the top Ace Pilots in the Ascendancy-Coalition War without them all. She fondly remembers Carver E. Willow and is emotional since he affected her the most on the anniversary day of his death. Carver kept pushing her to become great and gave friendly advice to her. Jocelyn does drink on that day but drinks alone only. It would be better not to involve anyone else in her drinking and emotionally affected lifestyle.

Character Traits:
Dual Wielding Weapon Specialist (Katanas & Laser Pistols): Some of the best dual-wielding specialists trained Jocelyn for swords and any form of small arms like pistols. Only It’s because she only has two Katanas and two Laser Pistols in particular. In a sword fight, Jocelyn won’t beat the masters in the art of single sword combat, like Nikolas R. Zahrin and Kotaro Winterborn. After all, Jocelyn challenged Nikolas and Kotaro at different times in the Ascendancy-Coalition War for a friendly duel and lost to them quickly. They were masters in their swordsmanship talents with their devastating swords, the Paragon for Kotaro and the Diffuser Sword for Nikolas.

Ace Interceptor Pilot: Jocelyn is an Ace Pilot underneath the callsign of Thunder. She flies her Space Superiority Interceptor incredibly well. In the Ascendancy-Coalition War, she shot down about up to two thousand enemy fighter pilots and destroyed three frigate-class starships and a single cruiser-class starship. She got the Excellency Medal and the Medal of Valor for her incredible service record. Her aptitude for flying the Space Superiority Interceptor was short of amazing. Jocelyn reached Ace Status in only one-hundred squadron missions; she ended her military career as a Squadron Captain of the Tellius Raptors. The Tellius Raptors was one of those Squadrons you didn’t fuck with since their fierce reputation to help out any fleet in need, excluding the 11th Fleet underneath Berkeley.

Sociable: Jocelyn gives everyone a chance to be themselves around her, no matter if she is a part of high society. She doesn’t even show any disdain or hatred towards Frontier-Born people. Only it’s because it’s better to be friendly and be there for them as a helpful and caring person.

The Emissary of Precipice: Jocelyn is a religious emissary for the On the Precipice Religion. She wants to spread and find the origin point since Jocelyn feels that she’s the only one spreading the faith. It is how she was able to do so much in so little time. As a 33-year-old woman, religion was guiding her to help those who have prophecies among the stars.

Jocelyn’s Childhood life

Jocelyn was born on July 6, 2443, to Joshua and Marsha in the Rithsworn Family. The Rithsworn Family was one of those families eccentric with ideas of religion mixed with music in their lives. Marsha was excited to have a daughter and an heiress to their lifestyle. They learned quickly, Jocelyn had congenital disabilities, which were a weak heart and was born sickly. Jocelyn couldn’t handle vigorous activities as a child, unlike all the other children, and couldn’t even make friends in this state of mind. Also, they all learned that Jocelyn wouldn’t be able to live until her 9th Birthday, but because of this lack of hope in their family, Joshua and Marsha tried everything to keep their daughter happy. Therefore, when Joshua walked into his daughter’s room with a Christian Cross and gave it to her to help her relax and pray for something better or have hope.

When her father left her room, the Religious symbol unfurled itself, showing itself as an unknown religion by calling itself, On the Precipice. Jocelyn heard its words of hope by telling her not to give up and told her there would be a miracle for her religion’s newest generation of Emissary. A Miracle will occur in her future, where she'll be given a second chance in life since most biased medical professionals want her to lose all hope and despair waiting for her death. She doesn't have to despair any longer but looks to the future. All Jocelyn wants to do in her future is become an Ace Interceptor Pilot and make friends along with her journey. It also caused two different wings to appear on the necklace: an angelic wing and a demonic wing. It told Jocelyn to find the Precipice’s Artifact Weapons, the Life Seed and Hell Seed Weapons. Those two weapons pick many forms, and whoever you admire will be the form of the melee weapon in question. However, she didn’t have anyone she admired at this point because she was On the Precipice.

When Jocelyn turned six years old, her family asked for the best biotech researcher, who they got was Johan E. Steele, or Dr. Biotech has his nickname. Joshua and Marsha were grateful for Johan E. Steele’s acceptance of their problem with how bad their daughter was feeling. Jocelyn wanted nothing more than to die three years later. Also, they know of other doctors’ biases against their family, but Johan didn’t have that. Therefore, her parents put Johan to work to fix her congenital disabilities by using his breakthrough surgery on Jocelyn. They wanted to help Jocelyn to get a new lease on life. When the surgery finished, Johan was happy to give the good news to the Rithsworn family, which was that the surgery was successful. Jocelyn means everything to her parents because she’s the only child they have.

Johan came back a week later to give Jocelyn tests instead of going to those biased doctors against the Rithsworn family. Also, Jocelyn met Johan’s daughter Victoria who came to the Rithsworn home. The Rithsworn Family paid well for Johan’s services and asked him if they could give Jocelyn better eyesight by a biotech upgrade. After seeing how much better Jocelyn was feeling, he accepted the task and asked if she wanted a better vision. She wanted better eyesight since it was a good idea for what she wanted to do in the future. Her parents had no idea what she wanted to do since they cared too much about protecting her and their lifestyle.

Jocelyn did meet some new friends besides Victoria when she was older, Alexander and a few others, and they did take a picture. However, she usually was told to go back home before being allowed anywhere by her parents.

Jocelyn's Adulthood

Jocelyn also did leave her parent's home unannounced since her parent's beliefs were weak and the only feeling she had was to fight for her beliefs. She did this when she was 18 years of age, but she did get a great education otherwise in anything she wanted. It does help she has a similar singing voice to her mother, Marsha.

Jocelyn’s most substantial achievement was being the only one that passed the trials for the Drakkal Aerospace Engineering Core’s Experimental Space Superiority Interceptor. She went into the flight school and met some exciting people, like Carver E. Willow, the flight instructor and Ace Pilot of the Jealous Jokers. Her career path in the military would be fighting with her Space Superiority Interceptor the Augur. Jocelyn was a fast learner and never showed any signs of slowing down. It took her to create the Tellius Raptors as a Squadron Captain during the war. However, her flight instructor, before the war, died in the Ascendancy-Coalition War.

She gained an understanding from Estelle D. Windfall and other Dual-Wield Specialists to wield her specific skill set since she bought two specific artifact weapons that morphed into Katana. These Katana cannot be wielded singly and must be wielded in a dual-wield stance. Also, Estelle did give her favorite pistols to her star pupil, who was outright excellent in how much she learned in a short time. It feels like that Jocelyn would be an awesome Ace Pilot.

The Dragon’s Brigade Fleet and Alexander Kherol’s 1st Fleet, the latter was the Fleet she was assigned to as a Pilot in the Ascendancy-Coalition War. The Dragon’s Brigade Fleet was how different it was from the other fleets and honor-bound. However, there was something wrong with how the Dragon’s Brigade Fleet and Nikolas handled themselves. Jocelyn dueled two masters of the sword, but they both were outright overwhelming to her. She learned some valuable information from Nikolas as if he weren’t fighting at his proper skill level as a master, only because of a chip on his shoulder. The other one was Kotaro Winterborn, the 2nd in command to Alexander Kherol, who honestly still shocks her to this day as the friend she met all those years ago. In being a Grand Admiral of one of the strategically best fleets in all of the Ascendancy.

In the pilot seat, Jocelyn was a great skilled pilot and held a great deal of leeway, but she did a single thing before the finishing up of the war that was deemed outrageous. She defended the Dragon’s Brigade Fleet against the 11th Fleet’s Barrages once. By giving Berkeley a scare of his life and causing him to stop firing on Nikolas’s Fleet. It was because as a Tellius Raptor Squadron Captain, that ace squadron was only feared. After all, firing on them would incur the wrath of the 1st Fleet’s Alexander Kherol.

Jocelyn had been discharged with honors for all the service record stuff she has done. Even though she almost caused a friendly fire incident between the 1st Fleet and 11th. She faithfully served the 1st Fleet until some people blamed her for the 11th’s actions on a crucial battle in the war. They were trying to find a scapegoat, but they couldn’t get rid of the Grand Admiral that saved their bacon, so they got rid of the Ace Pilot and Squadron Captain of the Tellius Raptors instead.

Jocelyn wanted to search why her religious symbol glowed on the Dragon’s Claw during that duel with Nikolas. It confused her why, but she will find whoever activated it and learn the truth from it. However, Jocelyn still is loyal to Alexander but despises how idiotic the other Grand Admirals conducted themselves during the final battle at Proxima. Thankfully, the war is over, and she can live her life another day, but Carver’s sister quit the military after his death.

Jocelyn is happy that her friend is still in command. Those other idiots in the Admiralty didn't have the vision or strategic clout that Alexander Kherol has. Therefore, Jocelyn became a mercenary for hire by keeping to contracts that fit her skill set. This allowed her to gain a contract to protect some important people in the Alien Sector, and an organization named Moon Strike approached her to help out their operations. She's only in for it for two things to gain Galactic Credits and to spread her religious beliefs. Though, she does have moments alone where she feels as if she's reliving past events sometimes. It might be a good excursion to reacquaint herself with some of her other friends, which she has been missing for a while now. Only because some of her other friends went into different fields of work in the Ascendancy.

Jessica looked over to her companions, who were defending Carver on this job. Asher responded reasonably enough, about they walked into their territory, or they could be hungry. Reynard responded to her question with a statement that scaring them would be a better response. "It could be better than dealing with them with extreme prejudice. I wouldn't want to fail a bodyguard job because we failed to protect our client." Jessica said with a sigh leaving her. Still, she held an enormous amount of contempt for the Goblins and disdain. They were a pain in the ass.

Jessica kept herself in a guarded position and kept looking at the goblins, but she could hear Tearsy giggling in her head. She takes a mental note in it because it seems like Tearsy is having a blast with her dealing with Goblins. It is a bit annoying, and then Carver suggests giving the goblin's leader a piece of his bar. She didn't like this one bit, but Carver's suggestion is better than being hostile to them. "Alright, I will try it, Carver. It is better to get this over with now than dealing with problems. If this doesn't work, we should get out of here and continue towards our location." Jessica said. She knew she would have to calm down and enter her happy place before she takes the Bar Carver offering.

Jessica took time to calm down and showed a smile over a grimace at the sight of these goblins. She reaches for the Bar Carver is offering, and she gently reaches out to the Goblin leader in no negative way. Before handing the bar, Jessica opened it up for the Goblin leader and gave it to him with no hostile action towards him. After, that Jessica watched Carver show the goblin leader how to eat the bar, but she sighed. 'Tearsy what you want? Why were you laughing at me?' Jessica thought to herself, trying to get Tearsy to respond to her.

Tearsy did respond with a giggle at Jessica and slightly enjoyed how she handled that situation. Jessica usually snaps and attacks goblins on sight, but she didn't probably because Carver is here too. "I am impressed that you didn't snap at them and calmed down. You are usually so reckless and take on a good amount of monsters you shouldn't take on alone. But you do. It's a bit lady-like of you, hehe." Tearsy thought projected into Jessica's head with a bit of teasing tone too. The sword sheath shifts between dimmer and brighter glowing of its aura.

Jessica sighs at Tearsy's compliment of showing a bit of restraint for once in her life towards Goblins. 'Why are you teasing me so much?' Jessica thought to herself, blushing a bit. She didn't enjoy being teased so much by Tearsy, but it felt a bit different how she did tease her. She kept her eyes towards the Goblin Leader but tried to keep her mind off what Tearsy had said. Jessica had wondered if there was a way to get her sword to speak like everyone else, but it would probably be even more embarrassing if everyone could hear her.

Tearsy giggled at Jessica's thought since this is the first time Jessica had this thought and never asked if Tearsy could speak normally. "I think this is the first time you ever asked about this specific thing. I can talk like everyone else, but your lineage through the ages never asked that particular question, hehe. Though, I haven't used it in forever. But it would help if you said, I love you, Tearsy." Tearsy thought projected into Jessica's head. She was grateful to finally be able to speak normally, but that will take a while since there is a lock on that ability. It only requires Jessica to say the magic words of the one thing Jessica tries to avoid.

Jessica gasped slightly in shock that Tearsy can speak normally, but it requires saying four words to activate it. She says I like you, Tearsy, but never said I love you, before to the Sky Tears Sword. Her face turned as a tomato because that is a giant leap to say. 'Uhh, can I say that after this... mission?' Jessica thought in response. She was stunned big time, it seems like all she had to do was think the right questions, and suddenly Tearsy would reveal the correct answers. Tearsy gave out a giggle and an uh-huh in her mind telling her yeah, sure.

Just Another Hero

In the back of Shinon's head, she was in awe at how easy the #4 Hero dodged and countered each move against her. It shows that the malicious hero wasn't to be trifled with, which got her blood pumping a bit more. Shinon kept watching the quickness of her movements as she dodged Aegis's attack, then countered and kicked Keiji into Emiho. She gasped a bit in worry hoping Emiho could avoid the oncoming Keiji. "Emiho, watch out!" Shinon shouted to get Emiho's attention.

Shinon was a bit shocked to get a word out of Snake-Eyes by hearing her say interesting. She noticed that Snake-Eyes pulled out her gun and started firing blindly in her direction. Therefore, Shinon decided to dodge those blind fire shots since they weren't fired blindly as she first thought. She had her concentration split between avoiding and keeping her Tsunami up. It caused her to be caught slightly unaware by being distracted with not noticing Snake-Eyes on the balcony with Yozoru and her.

"Yozoru, are you okay?" Shinon asked Yozoru. There was a sigh of relief to know that Yozoru cushioned her slam against the wall with activating her suit. She didn't like that Snake-Eyes was standing right on top of Yozoru. It didn't help she was grinding her teeth a bit with all the frustration on her face.

"You bitch get off of Yozoru!" Shinon yells a bit angrily. She didn't like being taunted by what she knows already, and it's correct that Villains wouldn't give mercy to people. Also, it didn't help that Snake-Eyes's tone grated on her a bit. "Ugh, we know that they won't give us mercy. It's not like we need a lesson in the middle of a fight, now do we?" Shinon asked Snake-Eyes with an annoyed tone in her voice. She saw Yozoru's chest open up and cheered slightly, and saw Snake-Eyes get off of Yozoru. It calmed her down a bit, but she was still raging like a tsunami was. However, Yozoru's laser beam frequently shocks her a bit, and thankfully, she wasn't close enough to be radiated by it. She was impressed that afterward, Yozoru shoulder tackled Snake-Eyes off the balcony.

Shinon was shocked to see that Snake-Eyes landed perfectly like a cat. The words that came out of Snake-Eyes mouth and the tone was impressed, but Snake-Eyes looked like she was looking for her gun. 'Hmm, I shouldn't underestimate Snake-Eyes, so far she's been kicking our asses already.' Shinon thought to herself, with a bit of insight on her part. She did take battles seriously since her battle rage enjoys a good fight with how potent her Tsunami is.

Shinon heard Yozoru's call to combine their powers, which would be the best chance they could hope to defeat Snake-Eyes. "Roger that Yozoru!" Shinon exclaimed with her battle rage in full swing. Her previous Tsunami did run out of steam since she had to let it go in the fury of dodging. She got in her stance and readied her quirk like, Yozoru was readying hers. "Let's give this bitch what she deserves!" Shinon exclaimed.

There was a certainty in Narvia, and that was she loved Finbarr greatly comparing to all the times she cried and everything else. Narvia was embarrassed that everyone on the ship expected this to happen that Finbarr and Narvia would become an item. Her face was blushing with everyone's insights, and it was too obvious. 'This is so embarrassing.' Narvia thinking to herself while blushing. It included even Nero, who injected his usual grin at what he said about the same thing.

All the conversations around her were interesting, especially what Klein had said, and all she did was smile at everyone. Narvia softly gives a slight gasp, but it was cute enough since he wanted to return to his homeworld. All the while, Narvia intends to reunite with her biological family, but she's happy to be with her new family too. "I hope you do return to your home on Ceres, Klein. I'm trying to stay positive that I will reunite with my family, but it's hard sometimes." Narvia said. Her tone of voice was much more encouraging than usual because of having Finbarr as a boyfriend.

Narvia happily waves at Jude Styles, and he was one of the most unique of the Star Marines. She is cute as can be with her enthusiasm and happy to gain more Star Marine friends. "I am delighted that you can join our group, Jude! Everyone should be treated nicely, no matter what!" Narvia said, delighted. It was only fair since he agreed with Finbarr and her how Klein should be treated.

Narvia looks over to Laurey, who looks like hell, and Avelyn talked about how badly her head badly hurts like someone stuck a fork in it. She thought in her head, but it felt a bit silly and shouldn't be said since it gave her a strange image. 'Uhh, that image is strange. Why do I do that too myself sometimes?' Narvia thought in her head with a weird look on her face.

Narvia saw how Natasha's body language was sluggish by stress and possible blood loss, how she was wobbly a bit. She did follow Natasha to the cockpit, and the captain did talk about not allowing Nero to wreck her ship. They did leave the Galactic Bazaar in a hurry, which was one of those things that happened. When Natasha called out a conference to the Conference room, something different probably would happen. 'I wonder what will happen... I hope nothing bad.' Narvia thought to herself.

There was one thing Narvia noticed before the meeting with Moonstrike One started, which was Nero eating a piece of cake and the look on his face was this is pretty good. However, when the meeting started, her facial features were shocked by what Moonstrike One said. Narvia did hear Finbarr speak up about what was said when Moonstrike One looked over to Flame and Ashton. Her body language showed signs of shock that caused Narvia to look down at the floor. All the money, which they got, vanished without a trace. She couldn’t cry over that since she didn’t know what else she would invest in with all that money. ”T-This sucks, everything gone in an instant.” Narvia said. It didn’t help that tons of innocent people were arrested by the Ascendancy for what Ashton and Flame did. She deeply sighed with an ounce of regret and looked over to Finbarr with a similar look as she does.

Therefore, Maria’s voice was in her head, and it gave her a slight tingling sensation, and she forgot how cool it was talking to Maria. Narvia didn’t think she had anything to hide from Maria nor Avelyn’s mind-reading abilities. She hoped there was nothing wrong with her, though, but she gave a soft sigh. ”Maria, I don’t mind you doing a deep scan on me. It is so lovely you and Alan are back with the other Star Marines, though!” Narvia excitedly said with Maria’s name. She was usually one of the people that enjoys volunteering herself for things.

Narvia looked towards the blonde adult male with teal eyes, and he introduced himself as a part-time first mate. It made her raise an eyebrow. Joey mentioned Abby and the Doctor, but it has been a while since she saw Abby too. ”First question, Joey, how can you be a part-time first mate? I thought it was more of a full-time job than my godfather Nikolas R. Zahrin said about it. I haven’t seen Abby since the mission on Plenty.” Narvia said with a worried tone in her voice about Abby. She stayed in her room, the kitchen, and other areas but never went to the Engine Room.

Narvia overheard what Nero had said about his cake being expensive, and it caused her to giggle at what he said. There was one thing that Nero was good at, and that was saying a particular mannerism only he’s good at since she was trying not to cry by all this bad news. ”Hehe, that’s funny, thanks for that.” Narvia said to Nero. She had her particular smile again, and her giggles are cute as can be. It didn’t take long for her to notice Finbarr saying the oldest saying in the book, meaning life isn’t fair. However, there was a mention of meeting a Kanarusian by the name of Doruva Aoshen. Narvia’s knowledge of the Kanarusians was much more limited than the other Star Marines because the Dragon’s Brigade Fleet only deployed her twice in the war. She heard gossip from some of the Dragon’s Brigade Fleet about the tenacity of the Kanarusians but never once met one in combat before. ” I can’t wait to meet this Doruva Aoshen!” Narvia said a bit excitedly.

Therefore, Joey went on a monologue of portions it reminds her of Nikolas’s monologue, but her godfather’s monologue was more cryptic than anything. She makes mental notes of each thing that Joey had said in his monologue, and it was more to the point than anything. It makes it better than Nikolas’s monologues. Thankfully, it didn’t have cryptic messaging or whatnot in it. ”A-Alright, I will keep that in mind, Joey. I need to stay alive to reunite with my mother and my two older siblings.” Narvia said, keeping what he said to heart. The two-way door of responsibility had a nice ring to it. In addition, Joey would be punishing them with only able to eat rations as long as the Kanarusian, Doruva Aoshen, was onboard. She remembered only once during her first mission in the Dragon’s Brigade Fleet that she had to eat rations and were terrible.

Narvia gave out a small sigh and looked down to the ground, but Joey had good points in what he said. It was a reality check that not everything was so easy that everyone could live without being in a bit of danger. Also, the last thing he said in his punishment monologue was a bit funny in her mind. ”I feel like I’ve been punished my whole life. I miss my mother and older siblings so much. All for what my father chose me to do instead. Still, I would have to ask, Conner Leo Hadley, why?” Narvia questioned slightly. Also, her tone was more depressed than anything. She takes everything in stride, but she wasn’t an ounce angry at Joey for what he had said; it makes so much sense.

When she noticed Joey was leaving the room and telling everyone that the meeting is adjourned with what he said. What happened at the Galactic Bazaar showed many dangerous people out there, from within or without specific organizations. It seems like it would be better to do what he said to stay out of mind and out of sight for a while until the heat cools down. She didn’t say much anything else after what she said otherwise. It didn’t take too long for her to leave the conference room either, and she slowly walked in the opposite direction that Joey was going. She did hear him say that you can go to his room if you want to talk to him. As such, it mostly was because she was a bit troubled in her head and needed to cool her head a bit.

Narvia was walking the length of Xuanzang’s hallway to her quarters, which she stopped right in front of her door. She stopped before opening her room and put her forehead on the wall near her quarters. It brought up all those bad memories, all those missed birthdays, etc., but Narvia felt pretty bad nonetheless. However, Narvia did support her boyfriend, all the other star marines, and the other crew members. She deeply sighs at the whole situation and slowly moves off of the wall with many thoughts in her head. It takes her a few seconds of standing there motionless until she enters her room and sits on her bed and picking up the Seal Plushie she named after Phi. She hugs it, and she has tears coming down her face, and Narvia can’t help these tears for reasons she doesn’t know. ”W-Why did all this have to happen at once? I-I miss you, Phi, Lana, Ashley, and Freya. W-What went through my father’s head to destroy our family unity?” Narvia questioned herself to no one in particular.

~~~=Meanwhile=~~~

Only up to five minutes at most passed, while Narvia was sitting on her bed crying while hugging a plushie. She gasped at losing a bit of time since she remembered that she would allow Maria to deep scan her mind. Therefore, Narvia wipes her eyes off her tears and places the seal plushie hugging back on her bed facing her other seal plushie. She slowly gets up from her bed and sets her white hair tie that she got from her mother on the desk to have her hair straight. All she did was brush her bangs out of the way and put hair ties to make them much easier to allow others to see her eyes.

After all that, Narvia got out of her room and walked to the Infirmary since Maria would be. When she arrived at the Infirmary, she gasped at how Alan looked. He had all those crystals coming out of his body and still out like a light too. She had a bit of shock on her face since she has no idea how or what could have caused those crystals to do that. ”I-I am sorry for not arriving here sooner, Maria.” Narvia said to Maria with a smile on her face. The look on her face was still in shock at how Alan looked, but whenever he does wake up. Narvia wants to tell Alan that she and Finbarr are now dating; hopefully, he will wake up soon.
