I feel like Solana and Aría are going to get along...uh...interestingly.
Name: Aría Arórásdöttr
Appearance:
Age: 27
Starting Weapon and/or Abilities: Aría sports dual silenced .50 caliber Desert Eagles in matte black on hip holsters and a single 6-inch-blade combat knife that she keeps in a thigh sheath on her right thigh. Not sure if it counts as an ability, but her vision is insane; she can see things that many others can't. Same goes for her hearing, and OH MY EVERYTHING is she flexible.
Pros:
1: Expert Gunslinger - Aría is a master at using her dual pistols. Desert Eagles are NOT easy to use one handed, and she manages to shoot them quickly, accurately and simultaneously, all the while moving quickly around.
2: Parkour - Aría is an expert in parkour and incorporates this heavily into her fighting style, jumping and rolling while firing. This also allows for stealth; she doesn't need to hide from eyes, since where she is, there usually aren't any, e.g. rooftops, alleys, etc.
3: Stamina - Not really sure what else I need to say here. Her stamina is great, a combination of years of running and genetic manipulation.
Cons:
1: Antisocial - Her overly cynical view on the world in general makes her extremely hard to get along with, much less connect with. This leads to her being alone essentially all the time.
2: Stubborn - She is perhaps the most stubborn person you will ever meet. If she's set her mind to it, God help you if you try to change it.
Backstory: Aría was born in a laboratory, experimented and tested on to no end. This is where she developed both her insane sensory perception and her overly negative attitude towards basically everything. One night, during a particularly powerful electrical storm, the energy barriers and alarms went down and using her insane senses and flexibility, Aría managed to escape. They big guys didn't like that; even now, they're still chasing her. She learned parkour to get away, and it's worked so far.
Race: Genetically modified human

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention; her life was begun on Earth and her original family was Icelandic (after all, the laboratory had to have something to work with, and it chose an Icelandic couple named Arórá and Oláfur).
Yis.

Do approve. Save me a seat.
Is this thing still open, or would throwing a new character in muck everything up?

Gyrin, I think you just completely subverted Sylver's post last page about the laws of physics, and I applaud you for it.

Song Of The Void
_______

Having finally finished her job for the day, Runia was returning to her cottage at the forest's edge. As usual, it was a most ordinary walk, uninterrupted by anything. When she arrived, however, she gasped in shock and outrage. Her door was thrown off of its hinges, maybe five feet away from the frame, and the windows were shattered. It had taken an exorbitant amount of money to get enough glass to put over them, and it now lay broken on the ground. Running inside, she surveyed the mess her usually impeccably-kept cottage had become. Furniture knocked over, bed twisted to the side, burn marks on the floor, and one very conspicuous missing object. The stilettos that hung over the mantle were gone. She began looking furiously around the small, two-room cottage, but could find no marks of them. At length, she departed from the half-deconstructed cottage and returned to the village.

No dice. Every person she asked could say nothing about her cottage. She cursed herself for living in such solitude. But why would somebody destroy my home like that? she wondered, and why take the daggers? No answers were forthcoming. She trekked back to her cottage at the end of the day, tired, dirty, disheveled and disappointed. Righting the bed, she threw herself upon it, fully clothed, and stewed angrily for a few minutes before succumbing to sleep.
______
Runia was awakened by a strange sound from very close by. It sounded almost like... "A person." she finished aloud in a very quiet whisper. The sound came again and, mustering up her courage, she sat up quickly and spoke in a loud voice, "Who's there? Why are you in my house?" The noise stopped for a moment.
Fair 'nuff, I s'pose. Use them, just don't overuse them.

Matt sat in his small, dark, grungy apartment, carefully inserting a small weight into a die. He bit the tip of his tongue in concentration; weighting dice tends to take awhile. He perked up slightly as he heard a commotion on the street a few floors below. Shoving his half-empty salt shaker into his pocket, he jogged down the stairs, slamming open the door to the complex just as a man dashed around the corner, barreling towards him at a pretty decent rate. Acting almost without conscious though, Matt shoved his hand into his pocket, stepping quickly to the side as salt flowed out of the shaker, coalescing into almost a screen of granules suspended in front of the man's face. Grinning, Matt waited for the salt to enter his eyes.

He pictured the moment in his head—the expression of surprise, the sudden pain, the inevitable fall—and was so intrenched in his vision that he neglected to notice the other man, this time a black man in a white suit, as he came screeching around the corner with nigh superhuman speed. By the time he noticed him, the man was directly on top of him, leaving him no time to react, so he did the only thing he could.

He braced for impact.
A lot of people are wanting to use guns...I feel like I need to elaborate a bit more on how rare the relics of the past are. Granted, it's possible, and I'll think I'll let these go, but I don't know if I'm going to let anymore go through with guns and whatnot.

Name: Matthew

Last name: Winslow

Nicknames (if any): Matt, Matty, Asshole, Pig

Appearance (Can be written, drawn, or photograph): Both of his eyes are the sickly green of his left eye and he constantly wears that same smug grin.

Age (15-40): 22

Kinetic ability: Halokinesis (He can control salt)

Personality: One kinky motherf***** One can never be quite sure exactly what Matt is thinking about. It makes him dangerous. He's an unpredictable, chauvinistic ass who only really thinks about himself, and there is absolutely no backstory behind it. He's just really, really arrogant and pretty much hates people as a whole. Doesn't necessarily hate women more than men, just thinks of them as inferior beings, less than human.

Profession: Currently unemployed, unless you count "living off of the money of rich ex-girlfriends that he dumped by the side of the road" an occupation.

Any spouse/roommates/children: Heh...nope.

Other interesting information: He is an AMAZING cook, as long as no vinegar is involved. He HATES vinegar.
