Late Afternoon
Streets of Mantleville
Interacting with: @Massasauga Rebecca @CitrusArms Yumeiko

There was something in her eyes.

There were, specifically, more eyes in her eyes.

Still, for all that, Velvet remained fairly unfazed by the whole thing. She'd seen plenty of Things Not Meant To Be Seen in her long life. She basically was a Thing Not Meant To Be Seen, if of a rather different sort. So as she stared into the void behind Wolverine Girl's soul, her eyebrows popped up, but the only other reaction was a tacit nod.

"Ooookay, gotcha. Terrible things beyond the ken of man that are beyond my pay grade so you'll have to kill me if I find out, trademark, copyright. I'll refrain from asking further."

But, more to the point, a copy of Yumeiko, made of magic? Seriously. How powerful were those two women? First Miyuki, now this? It wasn't a show of magical prowess in the heat of battle, but creating a magical copy of yourself that was entirely sapient? Velvet wasn't exactly educated on the topic, not really. She couldn't use magic herself. But it was something that she'd never seen before, so obviously that shit wasn't easy.

"'Kay, a hibachi joint? I don't eat out super often, so I don't know any off the top of my head, but..." She pulled out her smartphone, praise modern technology, and tapped in hibachi, then gave a low hmmm. "Lucky us and lucky Miyuki, looks like there's one only about ten minutes walk." She stared down the sidewalk, the advanced hour had the building shadows almost entirely blotting out the sun.

A few more taps on the screen, and she tossed the dialed phone to the copy of Yumeiko. "You know what she likes, and I don't want her mad at me any more than she is, damn that woman can be spooky, so you talk to 'em. I can pay. We can explore as we go." She looked up at Wolverine Woman. "Name's Velvet, by the way. Velvet Coventry."
Okay, few things cleaned up. 1, Mikako's home location established, Old Kitaguchi. 2, her relationships with Junko and Ryuuichi written in.
Oh shoot, I totally forgot to add stuff about Junko and Ryuu to my sheet.
First batch of Yukata sketches! I wanna do one for every character so send me your preferred patterns!

The summer festival arc is going to be so ridiculous, I can't wait.
Oh my actual god I love him so much. I can feel the chemistry between him and Mikako, it's wonderful and I love it.
"I'm not short! You're all just really tall for some reason!"
Ooh, that's a fun setting. What part of Japan, out of curiosity? Are we gonna get destroyed with snow in the winter? Is summer going to be oppressively hot? The DEETS, man!

I think we're just waiting on Ryuu now, right?
I'm fine with Mikako being less athletic than Haru, she does a bit of kendo club for fun and she's got a bit of endurance from running around a lot but i would not call her an athlete. I think just by virtue of being a guy he's probably moreso.

Also, side note, Mikako just casually the one short friend lmao
Ooh, so Junko's group views Mikako as not caring, but coddling, I can totally imagine antagonism and even a kind of contempt there at the start. And I bet money that there are at least a few people who don't buy Mikako's personality to begin with, think she's putting on a nice girl face just for popularity and validation.

Also, osoto-gari is for nerds. Harai-goshi or bust.
