So, how is this planned to be kicked off? It seems from the intro to be centered around Konoha Academy students.
Are we starting on graduation day? Or earlier? Maybe even after?
Should we be discussing amongst ourselves who ends up on what Genin teams, or will that be assigned by the GM?

If what was said above was too long for you, Bright Ops'Clan is a clan of Ninja Cyborgs immune to Genjutsu as long as they replace their eyes.

A sect of them created war machines that were powered by tortured Summons during the Third Great Ninja War and were stopped by their clan members but they are now evil and rogue.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Ren is a courageous and compassionate soul, quick to try diplomacy first but also just as quick to resolve things with violence. He despises war yet knows that the best way to deter conflict is to have an edge over one's enemies, or alternatively, convert them to friends by defeating them and being magnanimous in victory to those who would accept it. Generous to everyone with his time and resources, Ren is nevertheless torn between the humble goal of serving Konoha with his friends (and maybe a boyfriend or girlfriend), or pursuing what he sees as a noble goal: Peace between the Hidden Villages and the various countries of the world.

Or should he just retire once he is old has enough savings and takes up farming?

Born to refugees from Uzu, Ren was destined for the Ninja life from an early age. His parents loved him, but also placed expectations on him, expectations he mistook for what he himself wanted. But as he joined the Academy, Ren felt something empty inside him, something that could not be filled with food, training, and even books - Both fiction and nonfiction. All he knew was that despite his generosity winning him friends, his willingness to protect people from bullies gave him a place in classroom politics, and also that there was a void inside him that was just on the verge of being filled but was not.

Then one day, he realized he liked another boy from his class. Then twenty-four hours later, that boy was tricked into helping a would-be defector set fire to several buildings (no one died, though). He would later learn that the other kid was dead, having been whisked off by the ANBU to be tortured and summarily executed as he begged for his life. But Ren didn't blame Konohagure for this; not yet. No, what he blamed was the power-hunger of the other villages and some of Konoha's own people. Even then, he believed that the Will of Fire was the best way of life for himself. Even then, he didn't dare dream of a shortcut to peace.

What he did dream of, however, was finding friends and another boy (or girl) and having as quiet a life as a shinobi can have...

Wind and Water.

A B I L I T I E S

Fuinjutsu/Sealing Techniques - Ren is good at the family trade of Sealing; able to create seals, modify and repair them, and even break a few basic ones.

Wind Release Jutsu - Can create and control gusts of wind that are strong enough to knock down a single person and break windows.

Water Release Jutsu - Can act as his own water gun by creating sprays and globes of water while moving a few kilograms of water from existing sources.

Normal Ninja Package - Every basic Ninja ability that Ren should know, including kunai throwing, basic taijutsu, basic first aid and medical jutsu, substitution techniques, and transformation jutsu, is included here.

"Captain," Alvin said as the mechbay door burst open to reveal a Hunchback, a large, unwieldy mech that nevertheless had the firepower to take on an entire lance in favorable circumstances. He pulled out the flamer he hated using and powered it up anyway, before confirming his intentions with his next words.

"It seems the Pirates are not going to take the opportunity before them to surrender. Despite my words earlier, I will be pulling my weight and using the flamer; what is the enemy thinking, sending infantry against mechs?"

Alvin detested burning people to ash, but he set several clusters of jetpack-using daredevils (?) on fire with a single sweep anyway; war itself was detestable but the nature of Humans made it so that they had to fight even when it was not in their best interests. Even as the glow of enemies who had been turned into crude blowtorches faded into the cold skies, the youth was already shooting a laser into the VTOL swarm, a laser that missed due to bad aim at the last moment, before firing at the Hunchback's left leg and finally scoring a hit. His next words were, "Sorry for getting distracted by the VTOLs and Infantry; on the plus side, I did score a hit."

With a cold smile, the young man then playfully stepped his machine aside to allow Fuka a clearer shot at the large, unwieldy enemy mech, knowing full well that despite their differences, the Dragon had the heavy firepower to make bringing down their foe a reality. Huh, would you look at that; I ran out of things to do except to watch as Fuka does what she does best; shoot straight with a crippled mech.

He had mixed feelings about the sole female pilot in the group, leaning towards a desire to make her acknowledge him by showing undeniable proof he had improved. Let her underestimate him once more as he snuck his way to improved skills and progress - He will prove himself strong.

Crane Summoning Jutsu - When given the chance to choose a Summoned Beast to contract, Ren chose the elegant and graceful crane birds as his contractors; with his blood and a scroll, Ren can summon up to a half-dozen Cranes that can fly, use medical jutsu, and taijutsu, allowing him a versatile range of skillsets.

Fuinjutsu/Sealing Techniques - Ren is good at the family trade of Sealing; able to create seals, modify and repair them, and even break them. He is proficient enough that if political circumstances permit it, he can undo the Hyuga Family's 'Caged Bird Seal' with minimal effort.

Wind Release Jutsu - Can create and control gale-force gusts of wind.

Water Release Jutsu - Can act as his own water cannon by creating sprays and globes of water, as well as control existing water sources.

Normal Ninja Package - Every basic Ninja ability that Ren should know, including kunai throwing, basic taijutsu, basic first aid and medical jutsu, substitution techniques and transformation jutsu, is included here.
