Bio

Not born in a log cabin, I came into the RPing venture around 2009 and quickly joined about twenty roleplays more than I should have at the time. I've been around the internet in that time span, participated in and run RPs on multiple forums, and brushed shoulders with a wide variety of players and characters. Getting to work with new people has always been part of the allure of the experience.

My interests in RPing are pretty diverse, and not genre-specific; if there's room at the table and I can think of a dish to serve, I'll cook something up for just about any meal. If you know what I mean.

@Wayward I really like the character, through I am @Double on the dual wielding perhaps her power simply causes the Keyblade to change into a different form or such. I am a really big fan of the character already and would like to have it along so I'll work with you to get it in.

I see. The concept I was going for was a two halves of a whole scenario, stemming from a situation that yielded a physical split between her Light and Darkness. Would it be a fair trade off to say that her potential is in being able to go from one half at time to eventually summoning the conjoined form as depicted? A rejoining of the twother halves.
Alright. I should have a character up within the next two to three days.

EDIT: I guess I lied. Here is a character sheet. @Apollosarcher. I do hope this works. Been wanting to use this character concept for a while now. I can provide details.

Heart Type: Heart of the Wise

Bio: The Keyblade Wars resonated powerfully across many worlds, lending to a slew of inter-related residual conflicts. In few places was the wrath of such conflicts as widespread, long-lasting and cut-throat as in China. The “Land of Dragons,” impacted harshly by the great wars of the Keybearers, broke into complete chaos, which lasted even after the breaking of the X-Blade. The wars would rage on with the fall of imperial order, with dozens of factions vying for control of the land; no one authority could hold its rule for very long before another made to usurp its power.

It was among the ferocity of changing authorities that Shalin was born. It was amid the violence and bloodshed that she was raised. The daughter of a lowly conscript in a village at the crossroads of the land, and thus at the epicenter of conflict. Between battles and constant military occupation, it was a miraculous feat for a girl so young to thrive as well as Shalin did. She would help the family as best she could, mostly with household work, and assisting her father as he prepared for his departures to various battle.

However, it would be in the heart of an attack on her village that her own destiny would be forged.

Shalin’s father was gone at the time; his company had been summoned to the defense of the imperial city. It was during this absence, with the town’s defenses minimal and unsuspecting, that a band of mercenary warriors attacked the village. The attack pending on the horizon, the villages remaining troops called to action all able-bodied men to its defense. The result was a bloodbath and a bonfire as people were slain and the village burned to ashes. The townsfolk fought valiantly, but proved no match; the soldiers redirected their efforts to ensuring the villagers’ safety as they retreated.

Enter Sun Yuande. A monk. A Keybearer. A veteran warrior of the Keyblade Wars. In a stroke of fortune, he was passing by the village at the time of its turmoil and rushed to its defense. He arrived to find himself too little too late, and most of the lives had been lost, and he found few combatants remaining. What he did find was a young girl, no more than ten years old, desperately fending off a trio of mercenaries with an all-too familiar weapon: a Keyblade, reminiscent of the notions of Yin and Yang. Immediately taking an interest in the girl, Yuande rushed to her aid, defeating the mercenaries.

“And by what name do you go, young girl?” he asked kindly to the cowering child, who still held her Keyblades up at the defensive.

“T-Ta Sha-Shalin,” the young girl said.

The rest fell swiftly onto the unwritten pages of history. Ta Shalin, at ten years old, became an apprentice to Sun Yuande. Under his tutelage she learned that her new weapon was a Keybalde. Under Yuande she also learned arts of magic, and combat. She followed Yuande faithfully for nearly seven years, until the fateful on which age and injury caught up with old master, calling him to the end of his days. Before his passing, however, he instructed Shalin to “seek a master who could complete the ‘unique’ training she would need to truly master her Keyblade practices.” He informed her of a planned gathering of Keyblade warriors to take place on a distant, world, and gifted her with what he called a “Star Shard,” which would allow her to travel to other worlds, and note that she was instructed was only for her new master’s eyes.

Believing that she would find a master that could complete her training at the gathering, she departed for Twilight Town...

@Wayward Yes and Yes!

Just for biographical purpose, where is this relative to the game timeline?
1. Is this still running?

2. Are new characters/players being accepted?
"Alright!" Once again, Sara assumed a horse stance. This time, her right hand was help up, level with her eyes. Fighting the wild side of her mind, she focused on the flow of her energy, centering it into the palm of her hand. When she could feel that it was ready to release, she drew the hand back as though winding up for a punch.

"We need to be moving on to the next activity you two." The housekeeper called out.

"Awe Dammit!" Her face pouted. Angrily, she threw her right hand off to the side, releasing the pent-up energy, which dispersed relatively harmlessly onto the specially crafted floor. Head hunched between her shoulders and eyes narrowed, she sulked back to the group, leaving Leo to explain his power.
I guess everyone will have to learn Sara's other ability the hard way. :P
“Yes. I would be Zena.” Zena spoke to Johnny, but her eyes remained on the alert, peering the room over for several seconds before meeting with his. But hers only met his for a short while before turning their attention to the huddled form under a mass of blankets. She pointed and was about to ask of the obvious person beneath the covers when Johnny himself moved that way and revealed a frightened girl hidden under their sanctuary.

“I see,” she said, flatly. She stepped further into the room, making space for the last team member to arrive. It wasn’t a moment too soon either; mere seconds after she began striding towards an empty bed, a fourth person made his way into the doorway. “Pleasure,” she said in a dry tone to Kenneth; she threw her gaze around the room, extending her ‘formal’ introduction to the other two. “Zena Lavinia,” she added, pointing towards herself. Half-engaged with the others, she began situating herself and her belongings.
"If you say so." Leo said before catching the disc and then walking towards Sara. "Just to be clear, I'll just toss this thing?" He asked, gesturing to the disc in his hand. He didn't want to embarrass himself by making the wrong move just because he didn't understand Sara's instruction.

@Wayward

"No." Sara whipped her hair back, and threw Leo a disgusting glance, as though had just gravely insulted her. "I didn't say 'toss,'" she explained with great emphasis. "I said throw. When I say 'pull' I want you to chuck that thing across the gym. Got it?"
Somewhere amid the noise and haste of the packed auditorium, a purple-haired girl stood in a silent observation. Matching eyes scanned over the droves of new students as they huddled had massed together. Their bearer held herself with a casual and discrete presence, practically unnoticed by passerby beyond the passing glance.

Not a single person that passed was missed by these eyes; nor did their owner dismiss them as they did.
Occasionally stirring to flip her purple-hued hair out of her eyes’ ways, Zena Levinia stood in solemn, ritual scrutiny of her soon-to-be classmates. Each face was committed to memory with little fault. Every weapon that she could make out, however mundane they seemed, were analyzed to the best of her ability. With as much effort, she endeavored to take in as much of the otherwise ambient chorus for the conversations as possible, hoping to glean some understanding of Semblances and other attributes.

She broke away from her calculating only when the instructors made their entrances. “Hmmm…” was all the noise that escaped her, a nod of approval at the sight of Yang Xiao Long’s lively entrance. So the legend returns,” she thought. “This will be more interesting than father said.” Casting the stray thought of home aside, she glanced at the massive screen overlooking the auditorium. Upon it, the faces of the new teams of Beacon displayed as they were announced. “So, Team JAKZ? And I’m answerable to this Johnny fellow.”

Her eyes cut through the clusters of other students as they departed, catching at least glimpses of her new teammates. “Alright.” She nodded in approval. Deciding that she’d best not be late, she hurried to her assigned dorm. Pulling the door open, she entered the room to find that two members, leader included, were already making themselves comfortable. “I see most of us are already here.”
Didn't realize we had started. I should be able to post tomorrow.
