After Mabel landed she put the little ones down and examined every inch of the rooftop, but there weren't any other Pokémon there. That was good. She sat down and looked at the other two. "You look good," she said to Charcoal. "Blaze will be surprised when he sees you again."
Penalopy waited in the alley for the others to come, sitting on a garbage container. The girl was first to enter, followed by the adorable Gavin.
"Meloetta," Mindy said as she carefully approached the Legendary. "I can't believe it."
"Melo?" Penalopy said, pretending for a moment she couldn't speak the language, although she was one of the few legendaries that didn't need a human form to speak their language. She looked perfectly happy when she waved at Gavin.
"She's been really excited ever since she spotted Gavin," James said. "I'm sure she will calm down after she talked with him."
"Pfft, Whahahaha!" Bear almost doubled over as he laughed. "I want to see that! Quick, someone pour water over Missy! I want to see her as a little fluffy furball!"
"We're not going to do that," Michael said.
"Remember when Andy used the hairdryer to dry you?" Benny asked.
"Shut up!"
"You fluffed up pretty well yourself," Benny teased, flying a little higher to avoid the jumping Bear from grabbing him.
Andy looked at the woman, he had no idea what she was talking about, but that didn't matter. "I did manage to get up this morning," he stated with a grin, "quite an accomplishment if I say so myself." He put a hand in his side. "But as flattering as it is, I'm not that young. I mean, I know I still look the part," he added with confidence in his voice.
