Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

I love bulbapedia, I use it for all the things I need to know about Pokémon.
"No country, no metal. Got it." Benjamin grinned as he looked back. "Despite what my instrument is made off, metal is not something I can produce with it, so that's fortunate for you." He went up the stairs, leading the way to his room.
When he entered it he left the door open for Steph and pulled a suitcase from under the bed. He still had no idea what he would play, but he would just improvise something.

Mr. Johnson requested an update from the snipers too, and told them they could stand down again. He had only requested them to protect the agent in case it was needed, but since Gaia had left they had no reason to stay on the roof.
They too reported Gaia had attacked something, even in her docile state she had reacted. They also reported how the agent had approached Gaia when she was in her docile state. Mr. Johnson wasn't sure how he felt about that, maybe it was just the inquisitive nature of the agent, but he would keep an eye on her.

"I think that is one of the things that we can't escape," Benjamin sighed. "I'm not looking forward to mine either." He briefly touched her arm in a comforting gesture. "It will be fine, come tell me how it was when it's done." After flashing a smile he sstepped in the direction of the common room, his mind torn between the files they wanted to see and Artemis having to go to the psychiatrist.
He stopped and turned to look at Artemis again. "If you want I'll accompany you to the psychiatrist's office," he offered. It wasn't like he had anything better to do, and Artemis did seem very nervous about it.
Trevor packed his bag in silence, listening to Noble and Duncan talk. They had a lot of work to do if they wanted to make this work. He groaned, already regretting his decision to go with the new king. At least there would be dwarven ale. When Gnol talked, his bag was packed with food and he swung it on his back.
"How about I smack him every time he doesn't act as a king should?" he offered.
"You'd probably make a fine king yourself," the Hermit teased.
Trevor glared at the hermit. "Say that one more time and I will put a sword through your heart, old man. I am not affiliated with the royal family in any way nor do I wish to be. But I know how a good king should act." He turned to Noble. "As Duncan and Gnol pointed out, you may have been born in a royal family, but you have some things to learn. If you want to survive as a king you better listen."

"Of course," Meria said to rai and she walked to the lake. "Come here, let's get you to the ocean."
The small blue dragon swam to the shore and allowed Meria to pick her up from the water. "We're going to the ocean!" she said to Terasivas.

Mikhal made sure to pack some supplies too and filled up his bowl for a quick second serving of the soup. It was a nice group they had, and they would go to the Dragon Sanctuary. He turned to look at the old dragon.
"I would love to hear your stories when we come back."
The Elder dragon looked at the young bard for a moment. "If I'm still around when you are back, I will talk with you," he promised.
"Thank you," Mikhal said with a small bow and turned to Trevor. "Have a safe journey, my friend."
"You too," Trevor said and he looked over his team. "The dragons and the sorcerer should make up for the lack of swords in your group. Stay out of fights you can't handle."
Mikhal nodded to that and turned back to the group he had joined.

"Good," Rachel said to Seb, before turning to Crreessa. "It will be nice having you. On the way we can help you become a better Rider too." She too filled her bag with supplies and waited for Fiona to finish eating. Her dragon had decided to fill up on the meat now, so they wouldn't need to hunt in the evening.

@CitrusArms That would be cool :) a battle song, a theme song for travelling. You could make all sorts of tunes for yourself.
"We probably don't have to worry about new nurses," Benjamin said, looking in the direction Dia was looking in. "If something shady is going on it will be the long-term staff who are in on it." He did make a mental note about them, new nurses were probably the safest to turn to when they needed help.
He took a deck of cards and shuffled them as he walked to a table. He chose a chair that would allow him the best overview of the room and he started to place the cards in the table according to the official Solitaire setup.

"Why would you want to pay me back for dinner?" Marc asked. "I live alone, I rent a small apartment. Sure the pay isn't that good, but I get more than enough to live from. Why can't spend some on a dinner with a girl I like?" The moment he said it he realised what he had said and he cleared his throat, feeling his cheeks heat up. "So, yeah, don't worry about it, I can pay for us."

"I will!" Penalopy's voice chimed through the air, but she stayed hidden. There wasn't much she enjoyed more than watching humans in their natural habitat doing human things. She was fairly sure she understood humand better than any of the other legendary Pokémon, who stayed away from the human world as much as possible. Such a shame, as there was so much beauty to be found here.

Mindy browsed a rack with small tools and thought about what she could use for her outdoor life. And what things would be useful to Gavin, she wanted to buy something for him, something small. A useful present, as he didn't seem like a guy wanting things without purpose.

The fireball hit the Dunsparce who unrolled as it flew through the air and it crashed into the ground.
"Oh no!" Whitney exclaimed. "Return Dunsparce, and Eevee: Quick Attack that... Pokémon." She realized she didn't know what Pokémon Sparky really was, but it didn't matter. "Come to the field, Tauros!"
As the Eevee started her Quick Attack, the Tauros materialized on the field. "Horn Attack on the Fletchling!"

"What?" Michael said as he saw the Tauros charge to the small Fletchling. "Anthony! Fly away!"
Anthony frantically flapped his wings to get away from the large Pokémon, but after attacking the Eevee he was close to the ground and couldn't get high enough fast enough. When he was hit by the horn he was smacked into the ground.
"Return," he said, aiming the Pokéball at his Fletchling. "You're up Missy. Use your..." he paused as he thought back to the battles he had seen her do, what moves did she know? "Use Bite!"

Saruya used her agility to get to Arisa's side and then used Take Down on her, hitting her with all her strength. It hurt her too, but she had enough strength to take it. She panted, but readied another move. Reversal, a move of which she had learned got stronger the weaker she felt. All she had to do was remain on her paws if Arisa would hit her with an attack and then she'd show that Mighyena what pain really was.

Kim nodded as the two explained how it all worked. It made sense and she was glad for Michael, but that also meant Niccia had some difficult decisions to make. It would still not be easy for both of them.
Suddenly she felt a hand on her head and looked up.
"Such a serious discussion," Andy said with a kind voice, having no idea what they had been talking about, but he recognised the look on his Furret's face. "There is nothing in the headlines about that excavation or that area," he told her, "except for the mention that one of the archaeologists went missing."

@BladeSS4 "It was a pleasure battling with you," Henri said. "I'm sure you'll do well." He walked him to the entrance of the gym, knowing Bakuto wanted to get his Pokémon healed. The Marowak had marched to a door in the arena and had picked taken a broom of his size from it, starting to sweep some of the sand into the pit. "
Don't forget to get some League-approved types if you want to battle in the Rorie League too. Your Absol is strong, but he can only help you get the badges you need. I've seen trainers do great against the gym leaders, but stumble and fall in the League because they relied too much on their ace Pokémon which they couldn't use during the League."
A piece of advice he often gave trainers, the experience had taught him it was better to remind them one time too many, than not at all.
Somehow he wasn't surprised. Andy unlocked the car from a distance and walked to it. "Get in," he said, gesturing to the passenger side and he opened the door on his side.
When seated he waited until his passenger was with him before turning to him. "Fasten your seatbelt," he instructed him, and fastened his own as he said it, to show how it was done.

He put his key in the ignition, but didn't start the car just yet. Where would he take this man? It didn't really matter, this car would allow for a private conversation. "Second star to the right and straight on till morning then?" he asked with a grin, starting his car.
Or, maybe he'd just go see if there was a late night movie in the cinema that would appeal to him, he was certain his guest wouldn't mind.
"Let's go," Benjamin said, leading the way back to the mansion. He too needed a moment to let everything sink in and he could use some music to help him with that. And he was certain it would help Steph too.
He looked around to see if he saw Mike somewhere, but when he didn't he figured his friend had gone inside already.
"What kind of music do you like?" he said as he walked to the door with Steph.

Great, this agent starting to doubt. Maybe she was trained to attack certain creatures, she still is unpredictable. We don't know anything about her and we don't know if or when she turns against us. Observe her, but be careful. Don't let her get too close.
Mr. Johnson hoped the text would be enough. Maybe women were too emotional for these kinds of things. At least she had done valuable research, there was no denying that.

Mike had gone to the library, there he would be able to do his research about the dragon demon. And continue his research about Succibi. Whenever he thought about them he thought about Ben and felt a stab of worry. He wanted to believe Steph was harmless, but the evidence was against her, there wasn't any case in which Succibi didn't prey on men.
For now he put it aside and focussed on the dragon demon.

At the same time Ethan was down in the basement doing some target practice.
