Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

Andy listened to the life-events of what was apparently a Laizu, he had never heard about those, but it was interesting to hear nonetheless. The easy way out would be to assume a mental illness, asylums had seen their share of people thinking they were Napoleon, Jesus, a dog, but a delusion would not explain extra-ordinary healing or glowing eyes. And he had definitely witnessed that. Plus, even Napoleon, Jesus and the dog knew what french fries were.

It didn't happen every day he met a lord from another dimension, trapped in a mortal form too. It was intruiging.

"You know what?" he said. "I'm going to assume everything you said to me is true, because honestly, I have no way of verifying that, but I know you're not human. Science, or at least a group of scientists, assume there are multiple dimensions but we have no ways of proving that so it remained a debated theory. So... I wouldn't count on humans to help you get home."

He pulled over and parked the car, it would be easier to talk to the Laizu that way. "First things first though," he continued, "you will need to learn the limits of your prison. You ate, because your body needs nutrients to function. Your body will need sleep as well, I don't know if that is a thing in ehm... Chaazim, but you will need to find a place to sleep where your body won't get cold. Because that is another thing, getting too cold kills us and it can get chilly during the night. And if you want to get anywhere in this world you will need money."
@Frizan @Jorick Is there an estimation on when we can expect the voting thread?

If life is busy I completely understand, but maybe we can get an estimate on a time or a date.
@BladeSS4
Thomas listened the the trainer, smiling at his well-deserved pride for winning the badge, and nodding when he explained in more detail what he had learned. He had heard similar stories before, but he had also seen trainers who didn't begin soon enough building a team suitable for the League. It was good to hear this trainer wouldn't fall into that trap.
"It sounds you will do well in the League," he said. "There are plenty of League-appropriate Pokémon to find, I'm sure you'll find one to your liking."
When he noticed Nurse Joy put some Pokéballs on the counter and look in their direction, he brought to the counter with a couple of sideway nods with his head. "I think your Pokémon are ready."
:o Continue to wriggle! Make yourself taste so bad they don't want to eat you anymore!

(Spider should learn the next time they have to say that wriggling makes them taste good, so they will stop. Unless he has ethical issues with lying XD )
Penalopy revealed herself and waved at the Lycanroc. "Such a cutie," she chimed, then she hugged Fez. "And so are you. You really have to stay close to me, no mean Lycanroc will hurt you ever again."
"Miss Penalopy," James interjected politely, "please hide yourself when we are among humans."
"Booring~" but she turned invisible anyway.

Mindy had found something and went to the cash register to pay for it. She looked around to see if the others were there too, but apparently Gavin was still trying on trousers or something. It didn't matter, he'd find his way here. She got in line to pay for her items.

Michael couldn't blame Missy for her fear, that Tauros suddenly looked mean. As he was about the order a new attack Li hit the rolling Miltank and she flew through the air, into the Tauros. The Tauros got down, but got back up.
"Do your Thunder Fang again!" Michael ordered, figuring the attack had worked once, so it might work again.

"Don't give up, Miltank! Use your captivate!"
Miltank looked at the large Noivern, winked, and multiple pink hearts released from her body, going straight to Li. While the attack wouldn't hurt, if successful it would lower his force.

"Coward," Saruya growled, flames etching around her lips. "Be gone, don't let our paths cross again."
As long as the Mightyena was here she would stand strong, or at least pretend she still had enough energy to fight, but she knew the battle would have been lost if Harry hadn't been around. Or maybe it would have been a tie at best. It hadn't been easy to fight against Arisa, but she wouldn't give the Mightyena the satisfaction of hearing that. She glared at the Mightyena, letting out a Roar to further encourage her to leave the scene, and take that brother with her.

Andy had a small smile and reached out to take Varina back. "Let's go have that coffee," he agreed. "On my way here I saw a place that looked decent." He offered his arm to Frosiien. "Be warned though, they can still serve awful coffee, but the chairs looked comfortable. And it will be my treat, okay?"
Kim got on all fours and went to Mitch, she would follow Andy wherever he went, but since Mitch would be coming along she thought they could perhaps walk together.
Benjamin looked up when Steph asked her question. "Three years... I think. I heard Baker Street on the radio once and I knew I wanted to play that. I guess it won't surprise you it's the first tune I learned to play too."
As if he wanted to prove it, or maybe just because he liked it, he played the characteristic tune.

When it was done he lowered the saxophone again. "Of course I can improvise too and that's why jazz appeals to me," he explained and he sat down next to Steph. "Do you have any creative outlets?"

The sniper who got the video message watched it to the end, then quickly signalled to the others to gather, send the video to their boss with the caption orders? and let the others watch it too.

Mr. Johnsson nodded to Duncan when he recieved the message. "Excuse me," he said as he watched it without sound. He frowned and typed in an order for the snipers. search for her, groups of three, go to channel 6 and remain in contact with each other at all times. I'm appointing Rudrig as supervisor
After that he made sure Rudrig had all the necessary information and then he turned his attention to Duncan and Harriet again. "Thank you for the information, I will read it through. Before I do that, could you summarize the key factors for me? What is his field of expertise? Is he a regular human? Does he have specific abilities?

After getting the order the six snipers split up in two groups and started the search, keeping an eye on any tracks in the ground and an eye on each other. It didn't take long before Rudrig announced he was ready at the control center and had launched a drone to get an overview of the area.

"Right," Andy said as he drove. "So, we can do two things. Either I can pretend you are a medical wonder with selective amnesia, maybe write a paper on it, or a book and turn the book into a movie and we'll be rich in no-time." He stopped to let someone cross a pedestrian crossing and took the moment to glance aside. "Or," he continued as he drove further through the city, "you tell me what is really going on. Because you may not have heard it, but we don't usually heal our fractures in hours and our eyes don't glow." He let out an amused sound. "And you were so out of place in that fastfood restaurant."

I updated the information under the Location and Pokémon hider: I added some Pokémon that can be found on the islands.
@BladeSS4 The old man with his Houndoom walked into the Pokémon Center again, carrying a Spinarak in his arms. He went to the counter and talked briefly with the nurse, who took the Spinarak from him and went into the backroom.
After looking around Thomas noticed the trainer he had talked with earlier and went to him. "How did your gym battle go?" he asked him.

@Salenea@CitrusArms Unrelated to the Oxin, but close to the old Onix trail was a small group of Chuckle were plucking berries from a bush and retreating into their shell to store them there. They seemed to stock up before crawling back towards the rockier area where they lived.
The Aura sensitive subplot was probably meant to just be an amazing subplot. In Star Trek it also happened some amazing things happened, but were never mentioned again, especially TOS was really good at that.

Is there anyone near Mesperit's Pokémon center so that BladeSS4 can interact with someone?
