Bio

Hello everyone. I'm Dutch, a mother of a 8-year old boy and I love both rp-ing and writing. Since May 2020 I'm one of the contests mods.

I started with writing Dutch stories in 2002, I was already 19 at that time. I joined a writing competition and that got me started. Soon I started to write down all the stories my over-active imagination came up with. I had my first forum rp experience in 2003 on a Dutch fantasy forum. While I continued to write, I stopped rp-ing when the particular rp and forum slowly died. In 2011 my love for rp's rekindled when I joined a site with a forum and I started to RP solely in English since that is the language of the site. This is also when I wrote my first story in English.

I've got a few 1x1 rp's going on this site and a couple more on another site. I've always been a fan of writing competitions and I joined a lot several of the ones that were hosted on this website. Now I get to host them myself and really enjoy that too.

When you come here to check if I'm online, know that even when I show as online I might not be able to respond to RP's. I open this site so that when I have time I can spend some time here, but I don't always end up with the time to do so.

If I haven't replied in a while, feel free to poke me. I don't ghost on purpose, sometimes I just forgetful and if I read your reply and accidentally closed the tab I might forget I was supposed to reply T_T

"I will," Marc promised as picked up the plush from the bench and handed it to her. "I will tell her we had a great time and that you were just like any other person. She will want to know about that." he led the way back to the car; he rather wouldn't but he had to bring her back on time. That was his responsibility after all.
"And I work the late shift tomorrow, I'll start at ten and stay until dinner."

"Maybe they weren't meant to cure any illnesses." Benjamin answered Ari's question. "She seemed so out of it; she didn't even recognise me or Dia. Maybe they fed her some other drugs; something dissociative or something. Some pills can induce psychosis or other mental states you really don't want. I don't know exactly what happened with her or what she got, but it wasn't anything like the stuff they fed me."
He frowned as he continued to walk. "It frightens me," he admitted. "I don't know where they can put something in, I don't even know what they will give. But I can't stop eating out of fear they might spike it."

Mike watched Steph fly away and if he could have he would have sighed in relief, because moments later the door opened. Then he heard the 'what the fuck' coming from outside and he quickly went to the window and saw Steph being captured. Not wanting to stay there he jumped back to his body and opened his eyes. The first thing he noticed he was lying on the ground and he sat up slowly, being helped up by Benjamin who looked concerned "Sorry... she tried to flee, but agents were waiting outside for her as well. I didn't know about them."
"She never had a chance then..." Benjamin said and he cursed.
"Ben, I'm sorry."
Benjamin nodded. "You tried..." he turned to face him. "Where are they taking her?"
"Another base where they examine dangerous creatures."
"Do you know where that is?"
Mike shook his head. "But maybe Stuart does."

Rudrig refilled his glass as Rose talked to him. "I wouldn't allow anyone to kill you, Rose. I do care about you." He drank from the glass as he faced her. "They will take you to another base, where the dangerous creatures are kept and examined. If you cooperate and show you aren't dangerous, you will be released from that place soon."
He nodded to the agents, who gestured with their guns to let Rose know she was supposed to walk with them now.

A team of agents sneaked up to the tree where their target was confirmed. They carred guns with a broad barrel, designed to shoot a net. Having seen how effective it was against this beast, the net would release an electric discharge when it entangled its prey.
One of the agents knelt down and shot the canister with the net at Gaia.
Oh no, not mr Johnson... he deserves it, the bastard.
That should also happen, yes. Let's send some agents to the tree she is hanging in.
Harriet has no idea her team is being captured and poor Rose... And my guys aren't really able to help at this point.

Okay, so, as I was writing the scene between Mike and Benjamin, getting to the point where Mike concluded Benjamin would leave and Benjamin putting a hand on his shoulder, the rest just seemed to follow. I hope you're okay with the direction the RP is heading now. If you don't I can redo the post, that's not a problem.
The two friends sat alongside each other on Benjamin's bed, both silent. Neither tried to break the silence, until Benjamin sighed and rubbed his face. "Have we made the right decision?"

Mike couldn't answer that question.

"I'm useless here," he continued. "No-one needs my particular skills. But Ethan, he feels right at home at this agency. And you have a purpose too. You like learning these rituals, don't you?" He turned to Mike and noticed him nod, but there was something off. "Are you okay?"

Mike shook his head before he turned to face his friend again. "You're going to leave, aren't you? Ethan is going into nightshifts to hunt vampires, you will leave, and because I'm not a fighter none of the agents here respect me; they rather kill demons than sending them home. I'll be alone..."

Benjamin put a hand on Mike's shoulder. "I won't go anywhere yet, okay?"

"You will," Mike said, "because they will capture Steph and I'm here to stop you from going there." Benjamin jumped up from the bed, but Mike grabbed his arm. "And I will stop you because they will kill you if you try to intervene! You said it yourself: you don't have any skills that are an asset to this agency, there is nothing you can do against trained agents. You are expendable to them, and you are not to me."

"We can warn her!"

"They will know it was you, because the only way you can know before they move is because I told you. And I wasn't supposed to tell you this. I know you will hate me for this for the rest of your live, but if you will protect her now, you will be locked up for treatment to get rid of of the succubus charm. I believe you when you say you're not under any spell, but they won't."

Fear, anger, pain, it all battled for a place on his face. Benjamin jerked his arm back. "What about you? You can go to her without anyone seeing it."

"They know what I can do and I don't do solitary isolation any better than you do. You're claustrophobic, I'm autofobic."

"We can't do nothing; I can't live with myself if we just let this happen!"

Mike took in a deep breath and nodded. "I will warn her if you stay here. They can't prove it was me, only suspect." He closed his eyes and his body would have fallen if Benjamin hadn't caught him and gently lowered him. Mike walked through the walls until he was in Steph's room and he went straight to her. Hopefully this would work. He lifted his hand and moved it to Steph's head until he felt a kind of resistance; her aura, her soul, he wasn't sure what it was, but 'touching' a human in this way did allow him to speak to them. He had done so twice before; just hoped it worked the same in Succubi.
Steph, don't say my name and don't react to what I say. But you have to leave, right now. You will be captured if you don't.

Outside her room agents in bullet-proof armour and helmets started to gather...

"It's good you still feel like yourself," Rudrig said. "But are you sure your current feelings of who you are aren't overwritten? You move your new body around as if you always had it. And regardless..." he put his drink down. "A transformation without consent is illegal. Now there is someone higher up who wanted to burn down the spider colony, but I stopped that plan. There is one plan I, unfortunately, couldn't stop. I'm sorry, Rose."

The door opened and five agents entered, all aiming their guns at Rose.
"If you come along peacefully we won't have to hurt you," the leader of the team said.

Andy examined Frosiien's new outfit as she joined well. "Now that looks good on you," he said and he offered his arm, moving the keystone under his other arm. "And I put on a clean t-shirt today, so I'm practically dressed up for the occasion."
The orange t-shirt had a Roggenrola on it, with a dark-blue YOU above it and ROCK underneath it.
He could hear Mitch was upset about something, based on the tone of his voice and the angry stare, but that wasn't really his concern.

Benny and Merlin looked at the exchange from on top of the building and looked at each other.
"I don't think he will care much about what Lugia will say," Merlin sighed.
"By the looks of it, Frosiien doesn't care either. I'm sure that if she did she wouldn't have dressed up like that."
"But really, he's going to an exclusive event and that is what he decided to wear?"
Benny made an amused sound. "He won't pretend to be someone he isn't. What you see is what you get."

Michael his uncle have only attention for Frosiien now, but he couldn't blame him. His attention was mostly on Niccia after all. He quickly checked where his Cyndaquil was and then he spotted him on the back of Soul. Good. He turned to Mindy, who was just finishing up tying a ribbon around Marie's neck and call for Mable, who swiftly joined them. It looked like everyone was ready.

"Shall we go?" Andy asked as he started walking. "It's been a few years since I was here, but the forest is this way and I somewhat remember the path the shrine. Roughly. I have no idea."
Marc had a kind look in his eyes when Sara took his hand and he didn't move. It was nice to sit here like this for a moment. But it was probably time to take her back; dinner would be over at the asylum and patients had be ready for bed at a certain hour. He couldn't stop a small sigh from escaping his lips.
"We should head back," he said as he lifted her hand and kissed it.

"Ari, relax. The pills are to help people with hallucinations. You're not a hallucination. I'm fine, just a little light-headed."
"What was that?" a nurse said as she walked passed.
"I'm a little light-headed," Benjamin repeated. "Which is weird since I hadn't taken my pills."
"Maybe you're tired then," she told him. "You better go to your room."
"I probably will, thank you." Benjamin watched her leave. He didn't think he would get anyone to admit they were willing to force patients to take their pills. He got up and glanced to Ari before leaving, making a gentle gesture with his head to invite her to come with him. They couldn't properly talk here.
Do it. You have until the end of the month.
