Hello there,

I've been forum RPing for about 13 years; got started on lavendereyes.net, which was a Forgotten Realms/Drizzt Do'Urden fansite, before moving to the old roleplayerguild.com! I've also dabbled in RPing in a few MMO's like Champions Online, SWTOR, and WoW but forum adventures are definitely my preference. I like just about any kind of RP in high-casual and advanced, based on whatever mood I'm feeling (typically high-fantasy, sci-fi, and/or certain fandoms). I love writing and do think of RPing as a way to develop my character and scene writing skills, which basically means I'm always looking for realistic and fluid ways for my characters to learn, grow, and develop over the course of an adventure. I don't ship my characters but do occasionally allow them to fall into a relationship, if they are naturally guided in that direction.

Analyst
Studying certain types of enemies during and after combat grants the player [Insight] into their behaviors, patters, and weaknesses. The player may cast [Analyze] on appropriate enemies to acquire [Analysis Points]. After earning a certain number of points vs a specific type of enemy, the analyst permanently gains [Insight] against that type. [Insight] stacks up to three times depending on the number of [Analysis Points]: 3pts = one stack, 30pts = two stacks, and 60pts = three stacks.

[Analyze] - the analyst attempts to earn [Analysis Points] against the target. Grants 2 points when successfully cast on a living enemy and 1 point when cast on enemy corpses. Can only be cast on an enemy once.
Casting Duration: 5sec

[Insight] - the player has extensive knowledge on an enemy and is granted bonuses to hit and damage. May also make the player aware of special moves, attacks, and weaknesses.

Tier 1 - Beast Analysis - The analyst can record all things related to beasts natural to NTO.
Tier 2 - [Share Knowledge] - The analyst has learned how to physically record data in a way that grants [Insight] to other players.
Duration: 1 hour.
Tier 3 - Monster Analysis - The analyst can record all things related to NTO's monsters and magical creatures.
Tier 4 - Leader of the Hunt - [Passive] The analyst shares his stacks of [Insight] with all party members within 100yds.
Tier 5 - Humanoid Analysis - The analyst can now record humanoid enemies, including player characters. (PC's must be analyzed individually but can be [Analyze]d multiple times.)
Tier 6 - Legendary Beings Analysis - The analyst can gain [Insight] on bosses and legendary monsters.
We sure to have a lot of mages...

Hey, I'm thinking of a subclass that logs, draws, and catalogues monsters (giving particular bonuses after encountering the same creature multiple times). Any idea on what that would be called?

Appearance: Victoria stands at an even 6’ and weighs roughly 160lbs. Her hair is a fiery red and never overly stylized; typically cut short so that it falls just past her ears. Years of difficult sports training have left her limbs strong and limber: a versatile athletic build which she carries with comfortable ease. This manner of body language along with her elegantly sculpted features; a smooth jawline, gently sloping nose, slightly arched and well-manicured eyebrows, and a thin mouth; and striking green eyes gives her a positively regal aura which her mood of calm determination hardly dispels. Personality: Victoria is often calm and collected, a natural leader who does everything she can to conquer problems with logic and precision. She has a very mature grasp on her emotions and will rarely be caught in an outburst, though this can sometimes leave an impression of coldness with those she’s just met. While often having responsibility thrust upon her, as opposed to taking it herself, she has grown very accustomed to being the one making suggestions in the social groups she spends time with and simply hates long instances of indecision. She is friendly and caring, highly protective of those she considers friends or comrades, but has a hard time opening up as it makes her feel like she’s relinquishing control. This can lead her to be burdened by many problems and responsibilities, even those that aren't her own, up to her breaking point.

History: Victoria was born and raised in Pennsylvania, USA but moved to Yokohama, Japan when she was 13 years old. Her dad was in the military, a well decorated general who imparted in his children a will to strive ever onward and upward as leaders and warriors. She was never really interested in video-games before being trapped in Soul Story, she borrowed her younger brother's copy when she came home from university to visit, but has managed to throw herself in wholeheartedly while gaining a good understanding of the game mechanics after the initial shock passed. This does mean, however, that she is rather lacking on the finer points of social etiquette and gamer jargon often saturating MMO-culture. Nearly 15 years of intense basketball training and being a starter for one of the US's strongest women's basketball teams with very high WNBA prospects has given her a very sharp mind and tactical insight that allows her to quickly analyze all sorts of enemies and battlefields.

Sub-Class(es): [You can have up to two, the second one unlocked upon reaching level 50. These are more like complimentary-production like things, like Blacksmith or Chef. Similar to the main class, a Sub-Class also is divided in 6 tiers, however, sub-classses don't have sub-tiers.]

Sub-Class(es) Mastery Level: 0 - 1000 [You can reach 700 here, obviously, those 700 distributed between your two if you have two. For every 50, you get access to a new form of that. Like, if you have Blacksmithery, at 50, you get Iron Forging, at 100, Steel forging, and so on. I will inform you every time you reach 50.]

I'd be down, Thundercat. Victoria is playing a defensive tank class so it would make sense that she'd have paired up with someone to survive the initial few months.
