Current Despite what Joker 2 would have you believe, the REAL Joker works for Nintendo. Check mate, Batman!

Okay but like seriously though, let's not tell Nintendo about this... About what, you ask? Exactly!

Some games make you feel like a hero, and others make you feel like you're playing a tree in the school play.

Alright fine. I could have images for my projects hosted on-site, but you gotta promise me you won't go snooping in there. There might be spoilers, y'know?

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

Cecilia listened to Ivory, lowering her eyes wistfully. "Oh... right. I guess you don't like large crowds. I understand..." she said before looking up and smiling meagerly. "B-But are you going to stay here the whole time? I don't want you to skip lunch just because the cafeteria's too crowded..." she stated, her hands coming together pensively as she thought to herself. "Well, will it be alright if I make a plate for you? I could bring it to you, if you want?" Cecilia's offer was genuine and she was interested in Ivory's answer. She wouldn't mind bringing her food, and it felt like a better solution than pushing her to do something that she really didn't want to do.

Sorry for running late guys. You two didn't have to wait for me though, even if it did make sense in character.
Cecilia carried Ivory's picture to the ladybug cabin where her own belongings were, the floorboards still letting out their welcoming creaks under her feet as she moved to the wooden nightstand next to her bed. If she could frame her latest gift, she surely would. But on top of the nightstand would have to do for now. Cecilia took one long and wistful look at the drawing, including the well handwritten signature, before digging into the drawer under it for one of her spare notebooks, picking out a modestly small one along with a pencil.

Before she left the cabin, Cecilia wanted to check up on the bruise she got from rock-climbing earlier. But as she warily put her hand to her back where it had been, she couldn't feel any trace of it, not even any kind of lingering pain. And upon inspecting the area through the mirror, there wasn't any sign of it, as though it had never happened. She hadn't the slightest idea of what to make of it, but didn't want to waste any more time. For now, she wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, opting to head for the door.

Practically hopping down the steps, Cecilia couldn't shake the strange feeling that she was being watched, her smile dissipating slightly as she again stopped feet away from her cabin and looked to the trees behind her lodging, finding nothing, unsurprisingly to her.

@deerling
The sensation wouldn't last and Cecilia continued on her way, seeing how crowded the cafeteria was getting and seriously wondering how she'll find anyone among the crowd. Believing the workshop a good place to start, Cecilia was delighted but also kinda surprised to find Ivory sketching by herself. "Ivory? You're... still here? I thought you would be having lunch by now. I'm sorry I'm late..." Cecilia apologized, her expression sincere and contrite.
Viranti

@Darkmoon Angel
Excited with the anticipation of battle, Viranti stormed outside, luckily not hitting anything with his unsheathed sword on his way out. He could hear the loud mechanical inner workings of GX behind him, meaning that Crabby and likely Michele weren't too far behind, a thought that only quickened his pace even more. As the bright glare of the sun dissipated, he caught sight of the gaggle of aggressors, or at least some group of armed individuals with unfamiliar armor that looked an awful lot like people he wouldn't necessarily be jailed for attacking. And in the state he was in now, that was good enough for him. Viranti rushed forward to arc his sword across a couple of mooks to drive them back, just as the purple war machine fired upon some other assassins.

A rather sneaky bandit had maneuvered around Viranti and had slashed at his back to try and bring down the large dragon warrior. "I'm gonna make a nice pair of boots out of you, lizard!"
Leaving a large, nearly claw-like gash across their armors, the dragon's legs tensed up for a follow up attack to finished them off before taking notice of a speedy bandit that had maneuvered behind him. "(Livid Growl) That right!?" The blade came inches away from Viranti's back before a leathery tail brushed his arm to their right. As the bandit reeled to the side, the dragon's left leg, along with his entire body, came around to rest on or near his attacker's head. His foot's claws effectively gripping the head, his leg pulled upward before cruelly stomping and smashing the bandit head-first into the ground (or maybe the courtyard path), dust and heated air pushed away. "Not from where I stand..." he retorted in a low growl before a magical aura enveloped him. "What is this?" he muttered, confused at his new state, but feeling invigorated by it.

"Everyone be careful! Whoever these goons are they're not after the queen!"
He was even more perplexed by this, though kept his attention at the attackers. What could they possibly be after if not the queen? he wondered, though ultimately thinking it unnecessary. Heh, They will all be ashes soon enough anyway
@deerling
I'll be gone for the day soon, but you could already move Ivory ahead for lunch and I'll see where I can catch up sometime tomorrow. However it plays out will be fine, don't worry about me. :)
@deerling
"Oh you do, do you?" Cecilia spoke up, very intrigued. "I always wondered how she sleeps, or more accurately, if she sleeps," she giggled lightly, taking a moment to look around the workshop and seeing that many were finishing up and starting to head off to lunch. "I guess we should get going to lunch. I'd like to meet up with you later, Ivory. I just want to quickly head to my cabin to drop off the picture," Cecilia said, whimsically holding up the picture she drew with both hands. "And like I said, you're welcome to keep the flip-book if you want. Consider it a welcoming present from me. See you later, okay?" Cecilia would happily smile and wave as she and Ivory parted ways for the time being.
@deerling
Cecilia was clearly enjoying the compliments, taking a fair amount of pride that her drawings were far improved compared to the stick figures she drew in her early years. "Th-Thanks, but compared to your picture, my drawings are pretty much simple cartoons. I'd like to say it's because of the small space but..." She wanted to say more about Ivory's use of perspective, realistic style and scenery that was dynamic and part of the scene instead of props, but she felt like they could go on for hours about what they liked about the other's work. "I'm sure you will. People are very nice here; I'm s-sure you've already met Ivy," her voice filled with equal parts mirth and caution.
@deerling
"Really?! I'd love to have it, thank you! I promise I'll take care of it," Cecilia said, receiving the drawing as though it were something prized and delicate. She took a moment to admire it up close. She knew it likely wasn't something that Ivory broke her back over, but she loved it nonetheless. Cecilia set it down on the table, unwilling to even roll it up or fold it for the time being, as she looked up to listen to Ivory. "That's fine. And I wouldn't mind having lunch with you. It isn't everyday I get to learn from someone as talented as you. But I have a feeling you'll make plenty of friends here. Just have to keep an eye out."
@deerling
Cecilia was overjoyed to see Ivory enjoy the flip-book, a wide and grateful smile on her face. She felt compelled to think of a fault to point out in the little book, but didn't want to spoil the moment. "I'm glad you enjoyed it! Hm?" Her eyes immediately drew to Ivory's picture. "Whoa, that's awesome! I wish I could draw like that! And I just love the scenery!" Cecilia playfully came a little closer to try and see Ivory behind the drawing. "You have to teach me sometime," she giggled.
@deerling
Cecilia was relieved when Ivory didn't seem to mind her little flip-book project. She was beginning to think that she should have asked her if she even liked flip-books before going ahead with it. "Fun? It is. A lot of the time it is. Not that I wouldn't like to stay in one place from time to time," she mentioned, finding herself remotely looking at the plant before resuming her work.

@LiegeLord
"Hmm?" she uttered, finding Neric had come to see them. "Hey Neric," she greeted, petting him softly on his head and back after he received the phone from Ivory. After a few playful scratches to his chin, Neric departed, leaving Cecilia to finish up her work.

Cecilia grew more and more silent as she neared completion, sighing in relief that she had finished on time, though she looked uneasy as she held the flip-book in her hand. She hadn't shown any of her sketches to anyone in the past, and this wouldn't be her first choice to start off with. "I-I think I'm done, for now anyway. I'm sorry for not coloring it. Would you like to see?" she sincerely offered. If Ivory accepted, Cecilia would tentatively hand the pack of small papers to her. Holding the top pages with her thumb, the bottom picture would show a lone girl in the middle of a forest clearing, very obviously a small drawing of Ivory. As the pages are flipped over another, there is an illusion of motion. The girl wouldn't move from her spot, but would smile and wave. At the same time, forest animals of different kinds and sizes would emerge from around the clearing and make their way to the girls side: a bear, a family of deer, squirrels, two birds that would perch themselves on her head and shoulder, and of course, three bunnies at her feet. The last page at the top of the stack had Ivory and her family of animals all together and appearing as though they were in a group picture.

"I used to love these when I was a kid. But maybe I should have asked you about making this first. You don't have to keep it if you don't want it," Cecilia said, politely offering to take it back. She was ready for a flood of critiques and perhaps rejection, as most like her would be in this situation.
