Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

I am hashing out the finer details in a Guild-side PM with the GM. Once I feel it complete enough, I could message you in a manner of your choosing, if you wish. Here or through Discord.
I'd say that the majority of his secret backstory is complete and has been shown to the GM, give or take some details. I can hold off moving it forward until such specifics are settled.

I'm so interested, I'll definitely work on CS's in earnest in the coming week.

Thank you for the offer. I've just been thinking up of concepts in my spare time, one that I've fallen in love with, though they're on the younger side, young enough that they'll probably count as a dependent to another villager. From there, I thought about making that villager as well, I suppose as a backup if you would allow multiple characters and no other player is willing to facilitate. I hope that makes sense.

By now I just have names and character portraits. I'm unsure if I'll proceed further than that, and I'm of course content to wait until the work is further along to the point that I'd have more to work with towards a full CS. There is no hurry after all, certainly not if you have other matters to attend to.
@DocRock@Jerkchicken That sounds like quite the generous offer, you two. The only reservation I have stem from myself not knowing enough about the majority of the RF franchise to offer much help in development, and I wouldn't want to distract the two of you when it comes to your DM discussion. Perhaps the discord link would be preferable, if only because I imagine one of you would have ended up creating one eventually. I could use more experience with the platform anyway. Thank you.

Maybe I'll start giving thought to the character I'll play, at least as far as general stuff (no need for a CS template so soon). It's not as though I'm counting my eggs before they hatch. I'd just like the diversion and I reckon I'd wind up making a character for an RF roleplay anyway.
@DocRock I have given thought to getting back on in some way, though nowadays it takes more effort to make the time. I just wanted to show my interest, in case you guys should refer back to this thread months and months down the line and call back on anyone that showed such interest. Course, that's assuming you don't update this thread with your progress, though I surely wouldn't ask such a course of action from you. I at least have a fair idea of how hard the follow through of a project can be.

Honestly though, I played the first few RF titles when I was still experimenting to find the sort of games that most appealed to me. It seems that I do not have the knack or patience for farm simulators as I could have, but the approachable fantasy backdrop appealed to me, and the RPG action element didn't hurt either.
