Anyway, what can I say about myself? I like long walks on the beach, but don't like the beach much. I love spicy food even though I can't handle my spice. Oh! I tried juicy pork dumpling and holy shit my taste buds were having an orgasm.

Call me Manzanilla or Fer, whichever is fine! I own a photography studio in LA and work as a full-time photographer
and editor. I love my job and the creative outlet it gives me. A few things about me: I love afternoon tea. My favorite
flavors of tea are chamomile, lavender Earl Grey and black tea with milk. I love dressing up all pretty and having tea
with my friends or by myself. I have three cats, two boys and a girl. The girl stays at the store since she loves
interacting with people and is the official cat and roach hunter of the store and is currently the employee of the
month for the next few years.

Currently taking it easy.

Monserad laughed, watching Molly practically jump off her skateboard to kiss her. She had wrapped her free arm around the other girl and brought her closer together. Fitted perfectly against each other, like two puzzle pieces. She enjoyed the soft lips over her own, lingering there against Molly's lips for another second before she pulled back. A soft smile that reached her eyes graced her features, kissing Molly's cheek as she handed over the iced coffee.

"You know you can always count on me for your caffeine fix, babe." Monse slipped a hand around Molly's waist, pulling her closer against her side. She had missed seeing her girlfriend every day. Hanging out during lunch, walking around the halls, and sneaking to the back of the library to make out. Those little instances made her time in Delbrook worth it and enjoyable.

Monse didn't mind taking tests and listening to what she already knew in class when Molly was there.

Hell, Monse would even do some homework for Molly.

"I could use some food; I didn't eat much before coming here." And if she didn't eat soon, she'd get grumpy, alongside some of the side effects of her meds when she took them on an empty stomach.

"How about some crapes with Nutella? Or some pan dulce - fuck I want a concha now." Her stomach protested loudly at the thought of sweet bread or fried bread with some cafe de olla.

She hummed their way back to the cabins, hands swinging between them as Beau and Tati walked side by side. Dirt kicked up a bit with every step, like little tiny clouds surrounding their feet. Tatiana's mood seemed to have lifted after talking with Beau; he always managed to lighten up her mood, even just a tiny bit. The boy was like a beacon of annoying little lights forcing you to be happy one way or another. Some might think it could get annoying, but he was a source of happiness and a sense of home to Tatiana.

"Hey, wanna sneak out tonight? Finally got some mugwort and skullcap." Tati looked to Beau, an easy smile on her lips. "Wanna see what would happen if we mix it with weed? Think Kareem could give me some?" Tatiana was a bit of an experimentalist when it came to mixing herbs. While her grandmother had taught her well about healing herbs, she was more interested in the results they gave when it was smoked.

So far, her favorite mix was chamomille, lavender, and passionflower. Lavender worked wonders.

"Hmm? Sure..." Beau had been a bit distracted since they left the bleachers. Tati was right; he should just get it over with. Just talk to Imani, clear the air, and move on. Dwelling on it for any longer wasn't going to solve his feelings. It wasn't going to make everything they had gone through together just magically disappear, but at least he would get some closure. Finally.

He could feel Tati's eyes trained on him, so when he finally snapped out of his little trance, he shot her a quick smile- squeezing her hand in his. "Honestly, I doubt he would want to see me. Last time we saw each other, I had my pants around my ankles with that one Apollo boy." Kareem, being the big idiot he was, had just stood there staring at them until the other boy had said something. Since then, Kareem had been avoiding Beau, and he hadn't had a chance to apologize for that ordeal.

Tatiana snorted before breaking into laughter. "Completely forgot about that!" Poor Kareem, to have witnessed something like that, Tatiana thought as she continued to laugh. She wasn't surprised, especially when Beau was just one step behind Brandon. And the boy complained about the latter.

"Seriously, you have to be extra careful, Beau." She looked at him, wiping the corner of her eyes with her free hand. "Learn from me. Never been caught once." She brushed some of her curls behind her shoulder.

"Learn from you?" Beau rolled his eyes at her. "Ma'am, did you not tell me that Kyrin caught you and Cee last week?"

"Wha- that doesn't count! He probably doesn't even remember." Tatiana rolled her eyes, looking away from the boy next to her and towards their path ahead. "And you, don't go around telling people shit. And besides, at this point, you'll dethrone Brandon as being the camp's man whore."

Her eyes spotted a green-haired boy she hadn't seen in a while looking their way. So he was back. A smile spread over her features as she glanced at Beau. "You gotta get your act together, babes. Talk to Imani."

"I told you it's gonna be difficult. She doesn't even want to talk to me." Beau sighed, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand. "But I think I'm ready." Their time apart had given him time to think, but it also didn't help that they lived in the same camp. He had considered applying for a transfer to the Roman camp, but he'd miss his brothers and sisters too much. And not to mention the many friends he had made over the past years at camp. All of the thrown away over a messy breakup he couldn't seem to get over? It wasn't worth it enough.

"Well, you should. Because I know someone, besides your Apollo boy, that might be interested." Tatiana had finally noticed a certain green-haired boy staring their way ever since they had arrived. While Tatiana didn't talk much to people outside the small circle she had formed that consisted of her siblings and Beau, she was an observant girl. She saw things, things that she liked to keep quiet about until the right opportunity arose.

"Seriously, this person is soooo much better. I don't even know that Apollo's kid name!" She had never bothered to ask, but then again, Beau had never bothered to mention his name.

"Lance." Beau looked at Tatiana then around them, trying to spot who she was talking about. Of course, he didn't have to because he already knew. "His name is Lance, and uh, it's nothing serious." He finally spotted Kep looking their way before snapping his head back to the girl next to him after he finally processed what she had said about it.

He was not a man whore.

"Excuse me, I am not a man whore. I am simply a whore."

"Same thing, dude."

"A whore with standards."

"Very low ones, it seems." She rolled her eyes, pulling him along towards Kep that was practically staring at Beau. Seriously, life in this camp would be so much easy if people just talked. Use words! Beau wouldn't be in a six-month heartbreak if he would just clear things up with Imani. Just be directβ€”no need to beat around the bush and dwell on things for so long.

It just stresses you out.

Maybe Tatiana could start selling some lavender blunts laced with weed. Those things would sell like crazy.

"Hey! That is so rude!" Beau glared at Tati for a second before realizing he was being dragged towards Kep. He had to swallow his next words just as they stopped in front of the green-haired boy.

"Welcome back, Kep." Beau pulled his hand away from Tatiana's and brought it up to his neck, smiling at the boy in front of him.

"Nice to see you, Kep." Tatiana crossed her arms over her chest, glancing over at Beau for a second before turning her attention back to Kep. "I'll let you both talk," she winked at him before turning to kiss Beau on the cheek. "See ya later, Beau. Don't forget around the weed for later." She patted his shoulder and shot Kep a wink before turning on her heels and walked away from the pair.

"Don't mind her." Beau let out a small nervous laugh before stepping next to Kep and wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "Glad to finally see you back! How was it out there? Enjoyed all the nature-y stuff?" He wanted to hear all about Kep's adventure. Beau had never been much of a listener, but something about the way that Kep talk made him fall into a sort of trance that just kept Beau's mouth shut, and he was able to actually listen.

"Maybe I should go with you next time. Get away from camp for a few days, my sister some peace and quiet. And so I could get away from Tati's herb testing on me." Beau made a face at the last part. The last time Tati had convinced him to try a new potion of hers, Valeria had to reverse the side effects. The side effects being not being able to talk.

And Beau loved to talk. It had been a nightmare.

When someone rushes you and they still don't have their characters ready, anyway, let me know if anything needs changing!

New school year.

New classes.

Same faces.

Same bullshit.

Monserad had woken up early, not that she got much sleep anyway. She had stayed up most of the night thinking about the last year in Delbrook. The first few years had been the same as the first. Wake up, get ready, go to school, and sometimes go out with friends. Of course, thanks to Molly, her routine changed here and there; those rare moments she had with Molly were enough to make the boring routine days worth it. That girl had changed Monse's boring life since day one. Something about the way Molly smiled at her across the school halls or the little excited flare in her eyes when she'd land a trick. Or how she'd play with Monse's curls when they got high.

The little kisses over her freckles, all of it made her days at Delbrook worth it.

"Lupe! You're going to be late for school." The voice of Doctor Luz reached Monse's room, making the girl snap out of her thoughts. With a roll of her eyes and a groan, she pulled off the silk bonnet from her head. The curls fell over her forehead before Monse got to work with them, spraying some leave-in conditioner all over her head before combing it with her fingers.

She worked quickly as she heard her mother's footsteps approach her room. By the time Doctor Luz opened the door, Mose was already up on her feet, gathering her tablet, a notebook, and a few pens.

"Hurry up, your father has to leave in five." Doctor Luz leaned against the door frame, her dark gaze scanning the mess that was Monse's room. "Don't forget your meds. Eat something before you go." And like that, Doctor Luz Pascual was gone.

Monse stared at the bottle of pills in her nightstand, glaring at it as if her eyes could drill holes in it. Another second passed before she sighed and popped a pill in her mouth and swallowing it dry. Her phone rang with the notification from Molly's text. Monse smiled, forgetting about her meds as she sent a quick text back.

πŸ’– Molly πŸ’– :
- Sup bb
- laevign in5
- leaving
- 5
Me :
- morning babe, see you at school 😘
- gonna get you an iced coffee <3

Monse stopped by her local donut show for an organic bagel with vegan cream cheese, an iced matcha latte, and an iced coffee for Molly. She thanked the elderly Asian woman behind the counter and raced to the pink Telsa parked outside. Ten more minutes, and Monse was finally back to Delbrook.

Disappointed.

That is what Monse was when she realized that the seating chart had been changed from last year, and she was as far away from Molly as she could get. At least she was near Sasha, the newest friend she had made over the summer break. Now Miss Goldman would have to deal with their constant texts and passing of notes. It might drive the woman mad enough to change their seats and sit them together.

Homeroom on the first day was always the best. Short and sweet. She had sat down throughout the pledge, rolling her eyes at anyone who looked her away. Pledge to this country? Please.

When it was all over, and they were dismissed, she hurried up and gathered her bag, and got in line with the rest of the students in the class. She had been pushed to the back of the line, leaving Molly towards the front. By the time they arrived at the field, she had lost Molly amongst the sea of students.

It took her about three minutes to finally spot Molly rolling around on her board just a few feet away. With Molly's iced coffee, she pushed past the people and approached the other girl with a grin on her face.

"Looking for someone, babe?" Monse walked up to her, pulling her down just a bit to plant a quick kiss on Molly's lips before pushing the iced coffee towards her. "Still cold."

After both Katherine and Swayer had left, Kareem was left alone to do the chores in the greenhouse. Again. He didn't mind; he liked the quietness and stillness of the greenhouse. Something about being surrounded by plants, dirt, and hard work gave him some peace of mind. He was glad he hadn't been called to the Big House, unlike poor Sawyer.

Probably some search and rescue.

Kareem had never been to one partly because he didn't like going out of the camp much. And because he didn't feel useful in his permanent condition. Kareem liked to act like the missing arm didn't bother him when it did. Very much so. It wasn't that he didn't feel complete, that wasn't it. It just felt... different. After recovering fully from his little run-in with that asshole of a scorpion. Now scorpions were something that Kareem didn't fuck with at all. He could still remember the sudden burning pain when the stinger penetrated his skin and boiled his blood all the way up his arm- and then nothing. The next thing he remembered was the hospital and his arm was gone.

The phantom pain was a bitch to deal with. There were days when he couldn't do much but lay in bed. Those nights were the worst. Katherine had tried to help Tatiana and Vivian as well, but nothing they did much to sedate the pain. Other days it wasn't even the pain, it was just an itch he couldn't scratch on his left hand. Other times it was the left thumb.

He rubbed the stump after he put down the water hose. Sometimes there was not much you could do, and that was fine.

Kareem perked up when he heard his name being called behind him. He turned back, looking around until he spotted Remus. He gave the boy an easy smile, waving with his right hand.

"Hey, Rem! Didn't know you " Last Kareem remembered Remus had been out retrieving a new camper- as there she was. "Oh, hello there!" His smiled widen, feeling the familiar energy that surrounded her. A new half-sister? Half-cousin?

Either way, now he wouldn't have to do the field chores alone.
