Name:Tomas Malik
Gender:Cis Male
Age:78
Species:Vampire
Abilities/Magic:Tomas is a standard Vampire, having been one for fifty-two years. As such he has access to most vampiric abilities, save those reserved for elder Vampires. Tomas is stronger, faster, and more durable than a human and can heal much faster. He also has hypnotic powers, being able to control the actions of the weak minded. Tomas has retractable fangs that are sharp enough to pierce through skin and most other materials. Like all other Vampires, Tomas can create a new Vampire by draining all of a human’s blood and then have them drink his blood.
Weaknesses:As a Vampire, Tomas has their standard weaknesses. He requires blood to survive, going into a coma if he does not feed often enough. Also when around a large quantity of blood, Tomas will go into a frenzy, attacking any nearby humans. Tomas is also weakened by sunlight, as it makes him sluggish and prolonged contact with it will make sores appear all over his body, eventually causing his flesh to rot.
Touching anything made of silver will cause Tomas’s body to burn, and anything holy, while wielded by someone who believes in it, will cause Tomas to get dizzy and confused. While Tomas can heal from most wounds, destroying his heart or decapitating him will kill him diffidently.
Skills:Prior to becoming a Vampire, Tomas was a stable boy, caring after the horses of the former Baron of Lunidio. As such, Tomas is great with animals and is an accomplished rider. After becoming a Vampire, Tomas was trained in sword fighting. He is now an accomplished swordsman, and is considered one of the best of the Vampires of Lunidio.
Personality Traits:Gregarious, Predatory, Imaginative, Vindictive, Honest, Distracted
Backstory:Tomas was born to the Malik family, one that was spread all across the Lancer Coast. From a young age, Malik was taken into servitude to the Baron of Lunidio, much like his parents. Tomas was placed in the stables of the Baron, which was located just outside the massive city. It was there that Tomas would form a love of horses.
Tomas would spend all of his childhood in the stables, becoming a favorite servant of the Baron. When Tomas was just a young adult, the plague hit Lunidio, killing his parents and several of his siblings. Now feeling really alone, Tomas would only view the horses as his family.
Around Tomas’s twenty-fifth year, he would be sent by his Baron, alongside some other servants, to acquire a rare breed of horse in another province of Vyra. Tomas would depart Lunidio for the first time, traveling west, deeper into the continent. However, a few weeks into the trek, the group would be attacked by bandits. Tomas would barely survive, fleeing into the wilderness.
Tomas would wander the woods for several days, before finding a mid sized city. Once there, Tomas would find himself homeless, trying to scrounge up enough money to return to Lunidio. After a week of this, Tomas would be taken in by a rich noble. Given a room to stay in, Tomas would have all his needs taken care of.
After a month of living with the noble, the man would reveal his true intentions. He was a Vampire, a creature of legend, who wished to make Tomas one as well. Not given a choice in the matter, Tomas would have his blood drained before being force fed the noble’s blood. It was on that night that Tomas was reborn a Vampire.
The newly turned Tomas would live with the noble for another year, learning all about the ways of the Vampire. However, he would harbor a hatred for the man, as he didn’t give him a choice in becoming a Vampire. Eventually Tomas would have enough and simply left the city.
He would travel the woods for awhile, feeding on travelers and bandits. Eventually Tomas would return to civilization, where he would join his first monster community. Tomas would get along with all the other types of monsters, not really getting the superiority that some other Vampires felt.
Tomas would spend the next few decades either living in a city for a few years or traveling across Vyra. That was until three years ago, when he decided to return to Lunidio, his first time since becoming a Vampire. Tomas would find that all his other siblings were dead or had otherwise left the city. Combined with the fact that there was a new Baron, no one was left to remember Tomas Malik.
So, Tomas would buy a house in Lunidio, claiming to be a horse selling merchant. He would also ingrain himself in the monster community there. He is currently considering leaving his home once more as tensions build among the monsters of Lunidio.
