Talking in riddles is fun. Putting them to poem is better. Presentation is the key.
Bio
Why does anyone care No one really looks at this part Its all just pointless.
I have made a edit to the CS with some of the characters that have been submitted, I am willing to work with what you have presented, but please refer to this for future creations.
What this story is looking for is new start villains or heros. People who have either recently discovered their powers/made their way into the underground, or that have recently come out from under their mentor to start their own adventures and path.
Added section- Weaknesses
The type of characters this stroy would be looking for is people that would fit into the Teen Titans setting, not people who could be League contenders. Characters that could fill the role of the Titans alone wouldn't really fit into the "new team mentoring" frame work that this game will follow, like wise with characters not hero aligned being able to cause major shake up to criminal syndicates at play. I would like this to be a story that sees character grow into their potential as they find their way, instead of starting at the top of their game. Think of this like a lvl 2 adventure: you know that you can do, but you aren't sure how well you can do it all the time and don't have a perfect grasp on the extent of what you can accomplish.
@Restalaan Your story crafting would be largely of your own choices, and as you go though your crafting you may get the attention of other groups in the mix of things. I would be keeping in contact with neutral characters if they get close to things of importance or they would run into some other characters I am keeping track of behind the scenes. I will always keep you in the loop of what your character would logically know, or be told about with collaborations. There will be a number of underground contacts that can be reached for different means.
@Restalaan Yes, when characters that are within the Teen Titans are not on a mission or assignment, they are free to follow leads from previous encounters, look into different areas of the city to dig up whatever they might find, or even just hit the town.
@Dragonfly 9 That is completely okay, I don't plan on making this a fast moving RP I have an overnight work schedule and not always am I in the frame-of-mind to make a post when I get off work.\
Years of playing cat and mouse with Slade had finally come to a breaking point for the Titans when a series of leads got them into a position to head off and confront the criminal master mind. The resulting fight caught Slade on a back step, seeing that the team had the advantage he chose to turn and burn, leaving much of his assets unprotected. Taking advantage of what they were able to gather from Slade's hideout before it was destroyed by the fight, the Titans began to systematically track down and apprehend Slade's known associates. This would have a domino effect of finding more and more evidence linking to some higher level crime rings. For the next few years the Titans carefully used this fortuitous line of information to aid authorities around the country to set up and execute several searches and arrests on long standing criminal heads, and raids on properties used as safehouses. Things had finally come around in a big way for the team and this put into perspective how much the team was lacking in terms of reach and aid.
Though some leads came up cold, they made sure as many loose ends were tied up as they could, and got with the JLA to turn over some leads that were a little beyond their scope. After the cleanup was through the Titans decided to expanding their team to help handle covert and ground level operations so the JLA would have more time to look at the bigger picture. This was an exciting time for the Titans where they found that the spotlight put on them helped other meta humans to be comfortable coming forward with their powers and even form teams of their own. Some years of trying to aid these teams from Jump City showed the Titans that while being together was nice, they were going to have to split up to give proper aid and training with the meta humans that were cropping up. This gave rise to many new teams that, paired with the recent destabilization of the criminal underworld, saw a significant drop in active crimes.
For several years there was a sort of peace, not a lot was going on that warranted full teams to mobilize, but Robin could tell something was brewing. While it was a huge win to clean up a large set of criminals like they did, it created a power vacuum that lesser groups or other branches will be looking to take advantage of to get a leg up on their competition. Slowly he could see the darkness creeping back in around Jump City, old names being whispered, properties being renovated and reopened. They were signs of the beginning that showed they were coming full circle once more.

Hey everyone! This is a rebooting of the previous Teen Titans roleplay that I had a while back. I plan to have a story that unfolds around the players' actions, but their inaction will also have consequences should they choose to not act on events happening around Jump City. As time goes on the city changes and more leads and stories will pop up. With how the story is designed there are a few cannon characters unavailable for players as they are for main or side story hooks. Once we get the story started the progression through it will be paced with how the characters interact with each other and the hooks that are out. I plan to allow for a good amount of downtime between major events to let characters explore the city independent of the story. During this time investigations can be followed up on, independent stories can be explored, and many other things and later on new places to be found. Aside from telling this story with you all, I most of all look forward to the stories you all will write with your characters.
Guidelines -General Role Playing Rules Apply -OC with ties to greater characters must be explained and approved -No Energy Absorption -No Time Manipulation -No Physics Manipulation
This is by no means a hard line sheet. If there is something you want to add, just put it in and let me know. You can also style it how you want. What this story is looking for is new start villains or heros. People who have either recently discovered their powers/made their way into the underground, or that have recently come out from under their mentor to start their own adventures and path.
PLEASE PM ME YOUR CHARACTER BEFORE POSTING THEM Name: Alias: Image/Description: Age: Gender: Race:(Human, Atlantian, Newgod, Martian, ect...) Alignment:(Hero, Neutral, Villain) Mentor:(If they had one) Skills/Meta Abilities: Weaknesses: Personality: Likes: Dislikes: Backstory:(I love a good character as much as the next, but please keep in mind that a good character comes from the stories not yet told.)
HERO You are a role model to the people around you, and are expected to do good and help when in costume. While you are not obligated to always help out, not doing so will effect your image in the eyes of the public.
NEUTRAL Your character is seen as more of a loose cannon to heros, and they may not always be happy to see you in the area. You may be reckless and and carefree in your attempts to help/or hinder, but the public may still look up to you. The police or heros will likely try to confront you when the chance arises.
VILLAIN If you make your character a villain it will make normal play rather difficult without a hidden identity as you will be wanted and the titans will come after you when you show up. You have to be careful with who you are seen with and by whom you are seen in daylight, and take care not to be found out.
If you are familiar with alignments, this won't be anything new to you, but for those who aren't let me give you a basic run down. Choosing your character alignment is choosing where your character's drives and views of the world come from. - A hero character will always want to make the world a better place and have a drive to do so. They will uphold law and order in a manner that is best for everyone around them, and try to always do the right thing. - A neutral character may have a more lax attitude towards doing good, maybe only is certain situations, maybe only if not doing something effects them directly, maybe only if it benefits them, and maybe only if they are around and feel like doing something. - A villain is a character that has a nefarious goal to their actions and plans, they want to make the world see things a curtain way, harm a person or persons, control some aspect of territory or black-market trade for their own gain.
History leading to the start of the story.
Formation of the team through Robin identifying, finding, and helping Cyborg, Beastboy, and Raven.
Introduction of Starfire, and the defense of Jump City from the attacking fleet that pursued her, leading to the creation of Titans’ Tower from a crashed frigate.
Intro Hive Five encounter where they showed the Titan’s there is more than just street crime they have to be ready for, and that there are high powers looking their way.
The Titan’s become comfortable with their position as they successfully put away many heavy hitting street villains and mob bosses throughout Jump City.
Slade makes his first move against the Titan’s showing them that they have become lax in their comfort. Slade was able to easily divide and conquer the Titan’s after Robin broke the trust of his team and made a false persona to work for Slade to try and get close to him.
After a long game of cat and mouse with Slade a final confrontation with the team showed that he was more than capable of taking on the Titan’s alone, but an unforeseen hitch in Slade’s plan lead to him having to withdraw from the fight subsequently destroying his base of operations, and sparking large scale conflict from groups he was allied with for assets he had left behind.
To combat these conflicts the Titans enlisted heros they had met along their travels and missions to help quell the unrest from other cities.
Working on revamping the story notes, and putting things in place. Not sure when I will have anything up, but I will let you know here when I get a new thread started.
