Serena smiled and said “go ahead dear” Drake nodded and walked thru. Serena said “we need to talk over there love…” then she went thru holding onto Fias hand so they didn’t lose each other.

John sighed and the portal closed and he too a step back, shaking in her grip. “It will be fine…has to be fine…”

The others came thru and Drake looked around. “Club won’t be open yet. We should check there anyway to see if Luci is home or not…” Serena nodded and started walking ahead.

Ana saw his gaze and said “it’s reacting to me…and to the magic around us. We just have to keep this from turning into a nightmare”

Ana saw the hound and said “seems she has the scent now”

Bane nodded and said “rest well my pharaoh…I shall watch over my shadow for the time being”

The scene seemed to fade as the present Bane looked at Yami. “It seems we have more answers now…but I think we should stop here…you don’t look like your okay right now” he saw how pale Yami looked.

Bane nodded and said “I will aid in that. Now that I can sense again, I can handle that mess. She was handling the gate alone…she couldn’t alert me in her state” he rested a hand on Zharas head and said “she’s the strongest shadow I’ve ever had…”

Zhara tried to get up, not wanting him to go and held out her hand partly. “Atem…I…” then she lowered her hand and her head, shaking as he vanished. “I don’t want to be alone…”

Bane was watching when Atem came out and asked “how did it go?”

Dante nodded and the pair headed to the stairs and made it up higher to get a better look around. Dante paused to look and muttered “come on…show us before something and happens for once…”

Ana looked towards the back of the room and said “I have it towards the back…where the stage is…” she started her way there, her book glowing next to her dress.

Zhara smiled at him weakly and said “no I will be alright now. My soul just needs time to repair itself…” she rested a hand on his cheek and said “thank you for coming for me…it means a lot”

Zhara held her hand out as well and the gate flashed gold and the gate seemed to seal with a gold light. The sounds of the monsters went quiet as the glowing faded and Zhara weakly. “It’s done…it’s finally quiet…” she held her head, looking shaky.

Zhara listened to him then she closed her eyes to his kiss. She felt a warmth from that kiss. One the spread thru her and she opened her eyes again, the fire back in them. “Let’s do this…together my pharaoh…” she tried to stand up, her soul shaking in his arms.

Zhara looked at him, the tears starting to run down her cheeks as she lowered her gaze a moment then said “if you wish it…then it shall be done my pharaoh…I’m sorry I’m failing you again…”
