So to ask the question. Can I add Saudi-Arabia to my nation without doing anything or do I have to write IC about acquiring the territory?

O well, if the gm agrees with it I will add saudi-arabia to my empire in an Anschluss like scenario. Afterall, my ggovernment could use a success after giving in to Christian demands :)

Two reasons. First of all I did not want to create a super large nation. Second reason is that I have in game ideas to aquire saudi-arabia. But with 4 nations declaring war on me I did not had the opertunity to start influencing SA :)

As far as I am aware of the peace conference has not yet been started. Furthermore the terms should be discussed and roleplayed out in IC. Surely someone is free to propose these terms and then we can all discuss them :)

A message to all the world and all its leaders.

The Caliphate greatly condemns the actions done of followers of the Islamic fate. However the world must come to the realization that the declaration of an unprovoked and unjustified holy war against the Caliphate of Istanbul by the Catholic Mexican Empire has violently ripped open the old wounds between practitioners of different fates. The actions and choice of words by the Mexican Empire has once again ignited religious violence across the world as followers of Islam feel threatened by such actions. I want to remind the world that prior to the declaration of a holy war against the largest Islamic state religious violence and terrorism was at an all time low.

The Caliph will once more state his devotion to keep the world peace. The Caliph condemns all actions done by extremists and calls upon all Muslim world wide to remain peaceful and not commit acts of terrorism.

Furthermore the Caliph announces that he will go to the peace conference himself. He would like that the Mexican Empire and the USAE are willing to demonstrate a similar devotion to keeping the world peace and willingness to reach a peaceful conclusion of this pointless, extremely dangerous and unjustified conflict. A show of goodwill by the USAE would be to cease all military actions in Iran and sign an intimidate ceasefire agreement with that country. From the Mexican Empire the Caliphate demands that they also show their commitment to deescalation by withdrawing their naval presence in the mediterranean.

The Caliph wants to state once more that it condemns all aggressive actions taken by Muslims and christians alike world wide. The Caliph also condemns the violation of Iran's integrity by forces of the USAE. The Caliph hopes that the world will rally behind peace and that the world will finely start to move away from endless conflict between nations.

Hamburg Peace Conference Terms

1. The Caliphate of Istanbul must cease any sponsorship of terrorism or terrorism-related activities.
2. The Caliphate of Istanbul must allow the practice of other religions in private, meaning not in public areas, without persecution.
3. The Caliphate of Istanbul must allow for the existence of an Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople within the city of Istanbul, who will be chosen by the Orthodox faithful but subject to the authority of the Caliphate.
4. The aggressor nations of South Asia and Mexico must withdraw their forces and end the war, or face sanctions from the powers agreed at the Hamburg Peace Conference.
5. The practice of slavery must be abolished within the Caliphate, to be assured by French observers.

Further, it is generally agreed that internationally observed elections will be undertaken in neighbouring Iran, at which point the South Asian military will withdraw from the country. As well, an Antarctic team will be tasked with investigating human rights abuses in the Caliphate.

I don't really mind that people declare war on my nation but what bugs me about it that there is no IC plot leading up to it and virtually no diplomacy in the game. I really feel that this RP is becomming very limited and shallow. It is a shame that people are not really taking the opertunity to go to te GEC peace convention. I truely think that people should go there and that it should be RPed out.

Also, is there still a UN? If so I want to initiate an emergiency session with the aim of settling the conflict peacefully.

Honestly I think that too many players are too warmongering in this RP up to a point that it's not even funny. I've never ever been in a nation RP where players declared war in their first post. And here we pretty much got multiple people doing it. Like the only thing to do in a nation rp is going to war :S
