Hello out there! My name's Mason. I like a lot of random stuff like comics, Masters of the Universe, M*A*S*H, X-Files, conspiracy theories, as well as a good superhero themed role play! I'm more of a DC freak than a Marvel zombie but I did grow up on mutants and 3rd string heroes. Once in awhile I'll make a few micros in MSPaint for my RP's because I love designing heroes as much as I do writing/reading about them. I'm about to try and get another Amalgam Universe themed game off the ground, if you're interested gimme a shout!

I've been RP'ing for awhile. I mostly RP to keep my writing skills up to par, and I generally RP between Casual and Advanced. I've been a member of the guild for quite a bit, pre Guildfall even. Ninety percent of the time you'll find me in some superhero themed RP or something based off of another fandom like MotU or Power Rangers. Currently in the process of developing my own comics!
Favorite DC heroes (I won't go into villains to save space) in no order: Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), Superboy (the clone), Swamp Thing, Starman, Animal Man, the Ray (90's era), Impulse, Captain Atom, and Batman Beyond.
Favorite Marvel heroes list: Human Torch I & II, Capt. Mar-Vell, Black Bolt, the classic Destroyer, Havok, Multiple Man, classic Scarlet Spider, Spiderman 2099, Nova, and Colossus.
OTHER FAVORITES: Space Ghost, Haunt, the Maxx, Shadowhawk, Green Hornet, Madman, Doctor Star/Andromeda, the Phantom, He-Man, and Zorro.
You wanna get a line or two in while your in the crowd in front of Metro Tower as Superman re-opens the doors to the Unlimited Initiative making them all official League members... or you wanna say something after everyone starts coming into the building?
Anybody for that matter that isn't currently listed for Eps 1 & 2... want to get a line in somewhere up top?

However, to make it really fluid, and since not everyone's mission will begin today [Eps 3 & 4 begin tomorrow]... if you're here and want to contribute some background dialogues I could use your character's voice!
Quick question. Are we allowed more than one char per player?
Yeah it'll be awhile and it will depend on how you handle your Primary Characters. With potentially a 20 players cast, I'm thinking only around 4-6 would get Secondaries. Depends on how well you work with others, how your character evolves with the cast and builds relationships [good and bad], and how skilled you are as a writer. I'm not saying I want a novel or even an Advanced Level post from anyone. I just want to see good characterization, dialogue that doesn't suck and sound super corny every line [imagine how people talk in the real world then imagine your characters saying half the shit they do in games... sometimes it really does sound too corny...], and an all around fun experience for everyone involved.
You've all heard the expression 'a man's man' right? What I want to see is a Player's Player in everybody. Help break in some of these new guys/gals to the Guild and make this game something everybody can be proud of. Collaborate, discuss plot points in the OOC and PMs, etc. and make this game as awesome as it has the potential to be.
Working on getting the opening post finished and the opening for both Ep. 1 & 2. Waiting to hear back from @Lord Wraith in a PM then I can give you an idea of when I'll have it all finished. Ep. 3 and 4 will be posted tomorrow.

The format of this RP will have much smaller stories in larger arcs. Everyone will get their time to shine so don't everybody go trying to get an MVP award for each Ep. Later Eps will have some character-centric stories some of you may be looking for, so just bare with us! Like we were talking about earlier in the OOC, each Ep. will likely only be around 3-4 posts per player involved. So make them count! I'll post a link to a community piratepad to collaborate on posts with the first post of the IC. Anybody that's been in one of my RPs knows I like to keep notes on the pads and collaborate whenever I can to make interactions feel more fluid and real.

Nth metal was what the Thanagarians used, the natural wings was only in the animated universe and maybe other Elseworlds. The Hawks weapons and wings were always Nth metal. Though in the 40's I'm pretty sure it was called 'ninth metal.'
Apologies for not getting the IC up earlier. Family stuff came up guys. After I drop my kid off at camp in the morning I'll get to work on finishing the IC opener.
@Divine Darkness I agree, your sheet was one of the pre-approved CS's I really wanted to see finished.
Deathstroke with his regular gear was paid by Dr. Light during ID Crisis to keep the League off of him. This wasn't some form of the big seven, it was a League that included Kyle Rayner/GL, Elongated Man, Hawkman, etc. something like 12 members... and Slade held his own. Right off the bat he kneecapped Flash with a shotgun blast and broke the ring hand of the Lantern taking his head out of the game to focus on his broken limb...
My biggest beef with DC is that Slade hasn't actually killed anybody high profile. Let him kill some redundant villains and a hero or two. I've always wanted him to kill Hawkman since he can be reincarnated.
