AMALGAM - Hour of X

@Half Pint Here's an idea off the top of my head...

Cassandra Kinney was a clone of Dark Claw, trained to be a killer by the KG Beastman (KGBeast + Ursa Major). After being sent to kill Dark Claw and failing, she became his sidekick after escaping Arkham Asylum and making another attempt on his life. Dark Claw had beaten her 'father' and left him to die trapped in a rundown sewer weeks prior. Dark Claw noted her quietness and attributed it to torturous training at the hands of one of the KGB's deadliest assassins. Another sidekick, a blonde girl who took up the mantle of Sparrow, helped her to come out of her shell before Cass went out on her own. Eventually that lead her to cross paths with another former pupil of the 'Claw... Night Vision. After the two butted heads on more than one occasion, Cass finally joined the Titan X team after Night Vision helped her take down the twisted girlfriend of Hyena... Wild Thing (Harley Quinn + Wildchild).

BRIEF Bio:

Scott Grayson was the son of former celebrity gymnasts/pilots the 'Flying Graysons' and trained in gymnastics for the first part of his youth. At the age of twelve his parents were seemingly killed in a plane crash near New Gotham. Running away from the orphanage he was placed in to find out if his parents' death was actually a murder, a chance encounter with Dark Claw had him getting adopted by the mysterious Logan Wayne some days later after returning to the orphanage. After discovering his new guardian was actually the hero of New Gotham, Grayson took the name Sparrow after the name of the plane his parents had flown in for years and became the sidekick Dark Claw didn't know he needed.

After several years of running over rooftops with 'Claw, Grayson's meta-mutant ability took form in powerful optic blasts. Dark Claw deduced that Grayson's body absorbed second hand solar radiation from the moon and the stars, however after taking a hit to the head caused him to lose control in a battle with the Silver Claw, Scott was now forced to wear cobalt aura quartz eyewear to keep his powers at bay.

After a couple bad fights with Dark Claw after he brought in another meta-mutant sidekick, Grayson went out on his own and encountered Doctor Strangefate while protecting Jumphaven. The Sorcerer Supreme told the teen hero he was destined for greatness and had the potential to lead others like him and Scott went on to form the Titan X team weeks later with his girlfriend at the time, Dark Bird.

Supporting cast/characters: Dark Claw, Sparrow, Silver Claw (Red Claw + Silver Samurai), and Dark Bird (Raven + Jean Grey/Phoenix)

Amalgam Universe Notes: Made an Amalgam for Night Vision's girlfriend but if anybody wants to use either character for a primary Amalgam of their own I can change it.

Random thought @Damo021, I wonder who else uses the old JL micro avatars LOL I know the last one I made for the person that played Killer Croc's niece in JLU was for the DC Unlimited reboot and she uses it still. It was a girl in leather with a white mask and green hair...

I wanted to throw my interest into the ring. I was considering Grant Emerson (Damage) combined with Alexander Summers (Havok) - their powers work pretty much the same though so I was thinking of them just absorbing energy, converting it to either a concussive or plasma blast by choice?

Could be interesting to have it so that he is still related to Scott but was raised in a foster family instead. Not entirely sure on the name yet, probably going to be Reactor LOL

Damage and Havok are two of my favorites, so I'm game for seeing this get fleshed out. Our characters could secretly have the same dad or mother, one could be adopted, etc. I was thinking only one parent would die in my story and out of grief put the child up for adoption before going and having another one with a new partner.
