A Girl From The Plains

"Alright, sounds like a plan." Jarde said, not at all minding the rather coarse language used to deliver said plan. "However, let's get Sordan to go with Jerod. Two skilled swordsmen should guarantee the bandit leader's demise, right?" He modified the plan to include Sordan. "Let's not tarry then." The prince concluded before the party got moving.

Like Jerod's plan, Jarde and Merilia went after the left flank, Jerod and Sordan went to the right flank and Rionach linked up with the swordswoman at the center. Keerin covered Jerod and Sordan by casting a few Thunder spells at the Brigands, scattering them and allowing the two swordsmen a clear path towards the leader. The party had the added benefit of a surprise and the battle commenced.

Over at Rionach's side, the green-haired woman was surprised that she had allies in this battle. "W-Who are you?" She asked Rionach as the two of them stood against three of the axe-wielding Brigands. "Ah, we should save the formal introductions later. Right now, we need to deal with these bandits. I'll follow your lead." She then added. "Although, at least knowing your name would help communication."

Meanwhile with Jerod and Sordan, the bandit leader saw magical lightning bolts scatter three of his men. "W-What the?! An ambush?!" He panicked briefly but immediately regained composure. "Who do you think you are?! You think you can stand up to Batta the Beast?!" He yelled at Jerod and Sordan as he prepared for battle.

When Jerod and Sordan made their first strikes, the bandit leader caught both their attacks with the handle of his two-handed axe. He then parried them both away and followed it up by tackling Jerod into Sordan, knocking both the swordsmen into the ground on top of each other.

"ÉG RÍF YKKUR Í BITA!" The bandit leader brought his axe up high, ready to bring it down on Jerod and Sordan and deal the killing blow to at least one of them. But they had time to react.

A Foreign Visitor

“Now now, let’s not be hasty. A public execution shouldn’t be performed without a public trial, yes? Not to mention if you are wrong, and these men did not instigate any trouble, you’d be putting yourself in quite a spot murdering visitors from afar under accusations of conspiracy. Now then, why don’t we all put our weapons away and speak over some ale? A drink can help unravel the truth.”

Dancia

The standoff was interrupted by Dancia speaking. Something that irked the public speaker.

"What do you know?!" The speaker barked at Dancia. "Were you at Dragonrage Pass?! Were you there to witness that battle that would tear Arcadia asunder?! Were you there to witness the horror?!" He angrily asked the Dancer. "No! It's all too obvious! Who shall gain the most out of this war between the League and the Dwarves? Of course it's those who will not fight it! The Ortusians!" He explained to everyone. "Even the blind sees this!"

"Ah, don't tell me. Are you actually sympathizers of Ortusians? How much have they offered you to lick their boots?" He began accusing Dancia. "Perhaps it is not only these four men that need be hanged..." As soon as the speaker said that, the Footmen have begun to slowly descend upon Dancia and her group with their arms at the ready.

"Humanity has always been fond of telling stories.

Be it a story based off real events. Be it a story inspired by real events. Stories of allegory. Stories of symbolism. Some stories go beyond, limited only by the creator's imagination like grand, epic journeys across the world or new, original worlds that have as much stories as we do. Some stories are a mixture. Like a story that is a fantastical allegory based off real events.

From Beowulf's adventures to Frodo's journey. From Achilles' exploits to Usagi's trials. From the tales of King Arthur and the Round Table to the stories of Twilight Sparkle and the Mane Six. The world has always been teeming with stories, tales and chronicles. And as writing and reading became widespread and the people grew more literate. It should not come as a surprise that the world of stories expanded more and more. Even today it expands still, with no sign of stopping.

And that's not counting reimaginings and retellings. Old stories recycled and given twists. Deconstructing them and reconstructing them. Breathing new life to archaic, ancient stories by using a new way to tell it. Of course, humanity's capacity for imagination is boundless. Original stories still, and will, come out, giving no end to creation.

But not all stories are received equally. Some stories are praised worldly, vindicated, immortalized in history. Some are ridiculed, laughed at, pointed as examples of the worst works to have ever entered the world. Some simply... fade away into obscurity. Only read by a few and then... nothing, forgotten.

Hey all! Paul here and I know I'm neck deep in GMing RPs but I've got a Re:Creators itch that needs scratching and thus, this thang.

So this is going to be a Re: Creators RP. If you're not aware of what Re: Creators is, it's an anime where a bunch fictional characters get transported into the real world and have hijinks (both the funny and the non-funny kind). As to why or how is spoiler territory so go watch if you're interested in the premise.

This RP will be following the premise as well as a similar plot. Players are able to play as either the fictional characters or their creators or related people. However, if you're going to be playing as a creator, it is recommended that you make sure that your character be present in the RP either by playing them yourselves or having another person play them.

Characters from real franchises (like say, Saber from Fate/stay night) are allowed to be played but the creation history of that character and its franchise must be different.

Oh and, the main setting will be locked in Japan in the fictional coastal city of Akamagaseki and maybe some adjacent towns/cities as that location and the events there is kind of central to the main plot.

Rules

1) Standard Roleplayer Guild rules. No godmodding and stuff.
2) As GM, I reserve the right to have my word to be law within the boundaries of this RP.
3) If there are problems with the RP or with other players, you can take it to me (so I can take it to someone who could deal with it lol!).
4) Do not post your character in the Characters Tab. Only I have dominion there.
5) Only post once when you are interacting with an NPC or doing an action. You can post as many as you want when you are talking to another player.
6) Updates (i.e. My posts to move the story along) will generally occur once a week or when everybody has posted. However, if you do not post, I will still update without affecting your character as much as possible. Worst case scenario, I will assume your character did nothing.
7) Please post something in the OOC if you are still interested just unavailable at the moment. If you do not post within two or three weeks still without any post given, I will be forced to drop you from this RP.
8) If you have read the rules, you will write your favorite location in Japan at the bottom of the character sheet. (Helping others in this rule is discouraged unless you are vouching for that person)

REGARDING PVP COMBAT
During a fight between two players, I will be the one to decide which attacks hit and which maneuvers fail.
