Sorry again for the quality of the post. I did not start any of the quests yet so people can join up. I want to keep groups together right now rather than connect them in a future post.
I'm reserving another 'Sorry' here for any mistakes I have yet to detect.
"...I don't know who the two on this tunic are. However, I have a fair guess. The strange magical tools you've been seen to have, the odd music sung by no bards, and the garments that are foreign to all lands that I've read about. So that's it, then, I'm guessing. That you come not from a foreign country or hamlet, but from a realm entirely different. I read a book about this once...of a hero that comes from another world to prevent a great calamity. Tell me Neil, how did you get here?"
"Heh..." Neil snickered. "Hehehe... Hahahahahahaha!" He laughed heartily. You get the feeling you were just duped. Fortunately, that did not seem to be the case. "So you have stuff like that here, too? Books about otherworldly heroes, I mean."
"Sorry to disappoint you though, Neph, but I'm no hero. I don't have any special ability or cool power to help people, much less prevent a great calamity." Neil continued. "I don't even have the basic qualities of a hero. Like being brave and selfless and stuff."
"As for your question..." Neil sighed. "I... I really don't have any idea." He began. "Just... it was just another summer day, you know? School ended a week ago and I was in the middle of enjoying the Spring break. Hung out with friends that day. Pizza for lunch then some Mexican stuff for dinner." His eyes were closed and a smile on his face. "After all that, I was going to be in for some Counter Strike. Gonna play til' midnight."
"But... I fell asleep on the bus home. Err, a bus is some... a kind of vehicle by the way." Neil continued. "Next thing I knew, I was in this... beautiful meadow in a hill." He chuckled. "First I thought I was in some... cool dream or something." But then his face soured. "But it was no dream. I wasn't waking up. The realization began sinking in... Jeez, it's like... it's like being trapped and-and... like drowning. I think I was having a panic attack or a mental breakdown. Maybe both."
"But survival instincts kicked in before I lost it completely. I surveyed the situation I was in." Neil sighed again. "Soon, I figured out where I was. Got lucky. Some gambles paid off. Then, I've gotten myself some local clothes and a case to put my stuff in. Then... well, all this."
"...I'd be happy to be your confidant. I can't imagine this would be easy to discuss with anyone. So...tell me all that you wish. I won't be going anywhere too far today while I recover."
"Thanks for the offer, Neph but I'd rather you be something else." Neil replied. "A helper to be more specific."
"I was sent here somehow. There's gotta be a way for me to get back." Neil declared. "If you can and have time, Neph, can you do a little snooping around regarding my situation? You know, magical interdimensional stuff." He requested. "Bast and Rebecca look like they know a thing or two about magic. I'm going to talk to them about this. Maybe the others too."
"Well then, I guess that's enough talking for now since we've got a plan now. Thanks again, Neph." Neil said. "While I prefer for this to be a secret, you can blab it out to anyone as much as you'd like. I have a feeling we're gonna need every help we can get with this."
"Right now, I'm going to go with Talia and Magnus to see this flying machine. Back where I come from, we've got all sorts of these things." Neil then asked. "What about you, Neph? You said you're going to recover so you'll stay here?"
"Talia? A-Are you up? We don't have to travel today if your shoulder still hurts...O-Or I can carry you there."
The door opened to reveal Talia the Cyclops, looking worse for wear though. Her eyes were droopy and she looked like she could barely stand up. "Hey Magnus." Talia greeted you with a smile. "I'm up but I don't think I can travel today. Looks like I've come down with a fever or something."
"You should go ahead and take the flowers, Magnus. Kyle's waited long enough." Talia said. "Maybe invite some people to see Kyle's invention come to fruition? I bet it's going to be quite the spectacle." The Cyclops suggested with a smile. "Just tell me all about it when you get back, alright? I wanna know every single detail." She requested. "I wish there's some way to capture it all. Like a painting or something."
"I wish that Arletta girl stayed around for this." Talia added. "Would've blown her head off her body. Hehehe."
"Well, the important thing is that you're ok now, isn't it? Are you going to stay here to rest a bit or are you going out on a mission too?"
"Going out, probably." Haley answered. "Time to stretch my wings. don't you think?"
"I have no excuses for my failures, I'll accept all responsibility and punishment for it."
"My, oh my. Was it really that bad?" Bart could only sigh at Yang's report. "Well, we can't avoid those kind of days, Yang. We just have to accept what happened and hopefully avoid them in the future."
"But if you really want to make it up for it, you'd do your extra-best in your next request." He told you. "Do an extraordinarily good job that the client might be so impressed that he's pay more. You know what I mean?"
"Sir Blue-eyed Savior, I believe the best and fastest way to fix the hall is to earn more revenue. I'll due my part of course! Matter of fact, you can leave the most expensive jobs to me!~"
"Excuse me, but is it alright if we asked what may have happened here? I can sort of tell they may have been a battle here. If need be I can assist with helping the injured or repairing damages."
"Hey, I know you two. I invited you guys to the guild." Bart remembered. "You guys are a little late... Well, really late to the party but better late than never, right?"
"To answer your question, Nagare." The guild master addressed Nagare. "Long story short, some hitmen came last night targeting me. You see, while I was shopping for supplies in Ambran with a friend, said friend found out we were being scammed. Me and my friend then tussled with the scammers but ultimately we got away. I'm guessing the hitmen was an attempt at payback."
"Welcome to The Guild. And yeah, that's the name of the guild. At least for now." Bart continued. "You guys can start doing requests now or just take it easy for now. Although, I think Vara already has decided."
"And thus, I have arrived in the stead of Lord Blackbourne of Varjo! Lady Vanessa Blackbourne... at your service, sir Barker."
"Of Varjo?" Haley the Siren repeated Vanessa's words. "You invited a guy from Varjo?!"
"Hey, I can explain!" Bart quickly replied. "Blackbourne might be one of the Varjan Tribes but he's one of the good ones. As good as you'll ever be in Varjan lands anyway." He explained. "I offered him a chance to leave that kind of life behind along with his family. But..." He trailed off while looking at Vanessa.
"Oh, oh gods..." The Siren muttered as the realization sunk in. "M-Maybe it isn't what it looks like, right? Right, Phantom girl?"
"Vanessa." Bart began. "May I know as to how your family is doing?"
Titanica had left for her chosen quest so Bast needed to catch up to her in order to strike up a conversation.
The kaiju was already outside of the guild when Bast had caught up, stopping her. Being outside, any words in this conversation was going to be private.
On a more serious note, are you having any problems you're having in the RP? You can PM me if you want it private. Also, I will understand if you don't want to talk about it at all.
The decision was made by Titanica herself when she hurled the unconscious intruder far away.
"Nice throw." Neil tiredly remarked.
"Haley... Are you wounded?"
"Huh?!" Haley replied to Freyr loudly. "I-I can't hear much right now, Freyr! Just... tell me later, okay?!"
"I did."
"S-She did blow the hole in the wall, but...s-she was just trying to defend our guild. A-and she saved Haley,"
"I know she meant well but from what I've seen, she was perfectly capable of handling this without collateral damage." Bart replied to Magnus.
"And for that, you Miss need to make it up to us." Bart returned to Titanica. "We are known as The Guild and I am its leader, Bartholomew Barker. Everyone else you see here are members of the guild. You have our gratitude for helping fend off those thugs." He first introduced himself and the rest of the people there. "But again, you still have damaged Guild property."
"For that, we will need gold to pay for the repairs and the materials. However, it does not seem you've any money with you..." Bart trailed off. "It seems you may have to work for us in order to pay us back." The guild leader suggested. "What do you say?"
Neil sighed. "I knew it." Seeing through the indirect invitation and deducing that was Bart's intention all along.
"What is your name, stranger?"
After Titanica introduced herself, the Guild retired for the night. Save for Neil who waited for Yang's group while also keeping watch at the hole. The rest of the night was filled with the sounds of heavy raindrops and the occasional rumbles of thunder.
"Thanks, our quest...didn't end well. I'll have to report this to Guildmaster Bart first though. Is he still awake?"
Neil was frozen still when Yang hugged him, only responding when asked the question. "U-Umm... yeah... No! He's asleep as well as... everyone else on the guild. I, uhh... stayed awake to wait for you guys." The boy said, a bit flushed from the hug.
"The hole's... a long story. I guess we can talk about it later." Neil said about the hole that was once the entrance. "You guys should clean up and rest for now. With your quest not ending well and all."
You woke up for the morning under cool temperatures. It had stopped raining but the dark clouds did not go away.
You see Neil standing up and... wearing the clothes you found last night. He appeared to be examining it but the look on his face suggested he was actually reminiscing. "Normally, I'd be mad at you for rummaging through my stuff and finding about my secret." Neil began, knowing you were awake. "But I was... dying, to share this." He continued. "I wanted someone to know my situation. To know my predicament. Just... someone I could talk to. But I thought no one's going to believe me. So, these stuff just got to stay hidden."
Neil then sat on his bed. "So... I'm not mad. Well, a bit but... I'm more glad that you actually found this. Makes this a whole lot easier." The boy sighed then chuckled. "Do you even know what you found? Do you know what all this means?" He then asked you, motioning at his strange clothes. "Do you know who these two are?" Neil continued to ask, referring to the two figures on his shirt.
"Come on, Nephele. Guess." Neil had a smile on his face. A sad one but expectant to your answer.
The next morning had arrived but no sunlight permeated through the windows. The dark clouds still hung in the sky but it no rain fell from it. Not yet, at least. The lack of sunlight made the morning colder than usual and if the weather continued like this, the Guild will have to operate in cool temperatures for the rest of the day.
"Good morning everyone!" Haley flew across the guild hall. "We had a rough night yesterday and I couldn't hear a thing! I thought I was deaf for the rest of my life!" The Siren continued happily. "Boy did I get nightmares about that! But fortunately, that isn't the case! So I still get to hear me do this!" Haley then hummed a lovely tune to the guild members.
"I wonder where Neil is. He's usually the one doing this kind of thing." Bart had the quest board on his hands. "Well, whatever. Here are the quests available for today guys."
-----MAIN QUESTS-----
Greetings Guild! A rather famous merchant named George has gone missing for a few days which is most unusual for him. He was last seen heading to Pravar from Ambran. Please investigate for we feel he has ran into trouble. If he is indeed, in trouble, Mr. George will pay handsomely for the rescue.
Posted by: Elijah, a concerned citizen and a happy of customer of George's merchandise
Neil's Comments: A merchant in trouble usually means his goods are being targeted by bandits or whatnot. If not then I've no idea if the alternative would be better or worse.
Glorious Guild! We are part of the rebellion and we need your help! Our strategists have come up with a brilliant ambush for the Varjans that are reinforcing the garrison in Sonarra. However, we need more manpower for this so we ask for your help.

Neil's Comments: Oh boy. More Varjo business. Go if you'd like but then I don't think Bart will be too happy about it. Maybe follow my advice about it and maybe we can make our presence there discreet?
Guild! It is me again, Maria Corazon. The Order in Pravar has caught some Sonarrans who have ran away from Varjo and are transporting them back to the accursed city to gain favor from Joshua. Please rescue them and take them to Boreal Port. I will wait for you there.
It is best that you wait for them on the road below Valoras Woods. Good luck!

Neil's Comments: Well... More Varjan business. Although this won't take us anywhere near Varjo or any Varjans. Hopefully. I'd expect Pravarian escort though so... knight I guess?
-----SIDE QUESTS-----
Let us say first that we are very glad that someone out here is willing to help anyone with a request. Don't worry, we are aware of your fees and we are more than prepared and able to pay them.
We are a couple of travelers and adventurers in Ambran and we'd like to get some mementos from the places we travel to. However, we are getting old and unable to acquire these mementos anymore. Meet us in Ambran so we can discuss this further.
Posted by: Mr. and Mrs. Tornil
Neil's Comments: I don't exactly know what kind of things travelers and adventurers usually collect. Here's to hoping you guys don't get in trouble for this.
Oh, please dear sirs and ma'ams! My love has been stolen from me! She's been taken to Boreal Port. You've got to help me. I'm in a farm in the south outskirts of Ambran. You can go to me if you need more details. I beg for your help.

Neil's Comments: Could this be a kidnapping of sorts? You guys better be careful.
The destination of the Fire Demon Vara and the Ice Dragon Nagare was common and their reactions too were common when they saw the guild headquarters. Sure it was grand and imposing, the stone and metalwork design giving it a Dwarven feel to it, but there was one detail about the building that they could not ignore: There was a big hole into the building that did not seem to be intentional, giving a rather large peek to the hall inside.
From outside, they both could see an orange-haired man holding a board and announcing something. Then a Siren landed beside him and took the board from him. It was then that the orange-haired man turned around and saw the two monsters staring at him through the hole. "Oh! Hello there!" He greeted them, startled.
Emerging through the hole, the man continued. "Uhhh, welcome to The Guild! We are a guild that accomplishes requests for people for a reward. Usually. Welcome again, ladies!" He told Vara and Nagare. "Err, don't mind the gaping hole in our building. It's a... It's a long story."
"So! Can I help you ladies? Do you have a request for us to do for you?"
It was then that Vanessa arrived which put more pressure on the orange-haired man. "Uh, hello there too!" He greeted Vanessa. "Welcome to The Guild! Please do not mind our current appearance. This is all but a result of very unfortunate circumstances."
