A few things about me: My name is Fox, I've been doing RP for about 11 years and playing/running TRPGs for going on 6 years. Outside of RP I enjoy drawing, writing, hiking, reading, and equestrian. I enjoy most genres of books, movies, TV shows, etc., so I'm down for pretty much anything! I have an Italian Grayhound named Harley and he is the best dog in the world, and I really love animals in general. I'm looking forward to getting to know some new people!
Now to the RP Stuff Genres: Fantasy -Urban -Dark -High Western -Supernatural themes are always fun Superheroes Sci-fi Modern in some cases Apocalyptic
Fandoms (Does take a good plot to get me to do a fandom RP, but I'm always excited to talk about them!) -Dragon Age -LotR -Critical Role/Adventure Zone/Dimension 20 -Mistborn -Warriors -Elder Scrolls -Zelda -Witcher -Pokémon -Mass Effect -Leviathan Trilogy (Westerfeld) (Will add as I remember things)
I noticed that actually. I've messaged them a couple times but I'm not sure if they've gotten them. I'm getting worried about the RP has a whole tbh :(
I’m on board so long as you want to continue it, I don’t mind waiting. It might be worth a check in with everyone else to see what their thoughts are
@savannahssu Just wanted to bring it to your attention; looking at Hazel’s profile they haven’t been online in two months. I’m fine waiting to see if they come back, but thought you should know.
Adrian is very much a social person, or so he acts. He can put on an easy front of charisma and charm that makes him seem inviting while in reality he would rather be anywhere else. He really doesn't like people all that much, mostly due to the fact that he grew up an only child and living in a big city prior to moving to Walson meant he didn't spend much time with others outside of school. However, his father's position as a big time politician across the state of New York meant that he was frequently in the light of cameras and interested parties.
Despite the fact he likes his alone time, Adrian is generally friendly with everyone and likes to be helpful. He is expected to be the top of his class, which he works hard at, and serves on the student council (mostly at his father's behest). He is more than willing to help out other students with studying for exams. That's not to say he won't deny someone help if he doesn't think they've earned it. Slacking off isn't a reason to come begging him to help with homework, genuine misunderstanding is, at least in his eyes. He isn't afraid to tell someone to go beg somewhere else and doesn't take kindly to repeated attempts to get him to agree to something.
This rapid influx of anger usually burns off pretty quickly, but on top of it he is quick to hold a grudge. Once he's decided he doesn't like someone it takes the force of moving a mountain to get him to change his mind. On the opposite side of the same coin though, once he decides he likes someone he is loyal to a fault. His friends are more important to him than even his family (his cat Meeko is the most important to him though.)
Power
Animation
Adrian can give life to inanimate objects/matter/energy/concepts, animating them to act/move on their own accord. Though capable of operating purely independent of his control, they can still function as extensions of his will, allowing him to command, control and otherwise influence them to varying degrees, which can even include causing the target to fly on their own power (in the instance that he created something with wings for example). Though it takes longer, in some cases, his power over the material can allow him to shape and mold it into a variety of forms and make it resemble various objects, entities, images and other shapes that can change at will. He can animate things like drawings or sculptures provided that he is the one that created them. He couldn't animate a statue or painting in a museum since he is not responsible for it's creation.
Aside from the fact that he can't animate things that weren't made by his own hands there are a few other limitations to the ability. He has to keep some level of attention on the thing that he has animated. Otherwise it will continue to follow the last order he gave it or cease function entirely. He also is limited on the size or number of things that he can have animated at one time. If he has something large animated then he can only create smaller things until he stops focusing on the larger creation.

Background
Adrian was born in New York City proper to Walter and Camille Valentine. His family is fairly well off, his father being a rather well known politician and businessman in the city, and his mother a state known lawyer. Given these two positions he was often left at home with a nanny in his younger years, and being an only child mostly found it on his own shoulders to entertain himself. He found quickly that music and other artistic pursuits were a great way to pass the time, and even frequently got praise from his parents if he did well at them.
Even from a young age his parents expected a great deal of him, he had to learn everything faster than anyone else and needed to have a diverse number of skills that would give his father something to talk about when it came to how talented his family was. This led to him being pushed far too hard in just about everything, and he still holds a massive grudge (though well hidden) against both his parents. He does excel academically and has been on some sort of student council or honor society from the moment they were an option. That doesn't mean that it's something that he really wants to be doing though. Mostly he keeps up the front of obedience so that his parents will pay for his college and he can get away from them as soon as possible.
As he got older his parents decided the nanny was no longer needed and elected to leave him at home by himself. At first he was bothered by this, but came to appreciate the time that he could spend by himself with no expectations thrown his way. He took this time to actually enjoy some of the hobbies he has, namely practicing drawing or piano without having to be cooped up in his room. There is very little that his parents don't stick their noses in, so having some sort of escape was vital for him. He didn't have many friends outside of school, and even in school was mostly seen as a teacher's pet or show off, but he tried not to let it get under his skin too much.
At the age of twelve his father elected to move them to Walson, for what exact reason Adrian still isn't quite sure, but he is grateful for it in some ways. Both of his parents commute to larger cities for their job which gives him the house to himself, and run of the city, for days at a time. He also appreciates the opportunity to make something out of himself at a new school where people don't only seem him as a know-it-all. Instead he tries to be friendly, helpful, and sinks just a bit into his father's politician's charisma so that people actually like him.
From late middle school into high school he actually found himself making friends and not being instantly judged by his family. Which was a nice change of pace. He can do pretty much whatever he wants with no repercussions so long as he keeps his grades up, and living in a smaller town like Walson, as opposed to New York City, means he can actually go outside and enjoy himself. That usually involves bringing a sketchbook somewhere and hunkering down for several hours to unwind.
At least they'd figured something out, that the weird looking bug-like creatures were weak to fire. Isaiah waved a vaguely apologetic hand in Nordrin's direction since his team were trying to put the fires out. They had far more important things to worry about at the moment, the damage would be assessed when they had kicked these weirdos out of the city. His team was doing mostly fine from what he could tell, though his up front brawlers had clearly taken a beating already. Thankfully they were all bulky in their own right, or he would've had to pull them back that much sooner.
He went to command Apollo for a second flamethrower when the so called 'prototypes' were withdrawn. Whoever this overdramatic shit was he appeared to be the leader in some capacity. His mention of a boss gave Isaiah a brief pause. Obviously these were at least somewhat coordinated attacks, but that all but confirmed that there was something bigger going on here. What that was, he had no idea.
Whatever conversation the 'leader' was having with Fiona went entirely over his head as he ordered Roswell to Lash Out at the retreating enemy Pokémon. The Alakazam he released was worth his attention though as his brow furrowed in confusion. "What the hell did they do to it?" He muttered under his breath more to himself than anyone else. He could handle a psychic type though, his whole team was effective against them and wouldn't be touched by most of its attacks. Or at least that's how it should be, but the black tornadoes that tore through indiscriminately didn't seem to care about that.
"Shit," that wasn't what he'd expected as he recalled half his team, the sheer defense of his other team members being the only thing to keep them up. "Shanni back to me," he called out to the Tyranitar as the Steelix was thrown out. He couldn't Earthquake in the middle of the city and the last thing he wanted was for her to her hit with a massive steel attack. That left Roswell and Zhanna to try and deal with these things along with whoever else was still up.
He just hoped that they were still weak to the usual since the attacks these Pokémon had access to didn't follow the rules. "Zhanna Dark Pulse again, aim for the Alakazam!" He didn't wait to see if she followed his order, he knew she would, and turned to Roswell. The Obstagoon was looking worse for wear after that hit, but still looked determined to fight. "Roswell, Brick Break on the Steelix, but keep light on your feet, don't let that thing hit you!"

You think you can take down my fighting types? Ha! That's funny.
MAIN PROFILE
Name: Sloan Wilder
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Hammerlocke
Appearance Information: Stands about 5'7" with a constantly straight-backed, cocky stance. She usually has her hair up, and the tips dyed in some capacity. She has a number of tattoos, the two most notable on her arms and neck, but there are a few more on her legs and back.
Sloan likes to wear mostly tighter fit clothing when she's training to avoid snagging on things, or giving her opponents something to grab onto. Most of the time, if she's out and about, she wears a leather jacket, jeans, and boots since she rides her motorcycle pretty much everywhere. However, when she's spending time by herself though she prefers comfy clothes that are a number of sizes too big for her. Generally she doesn't give two shits about what she looks like.
Personality: It is unusual to not see a smile plastered on Sloan's face. She is the kind of person that wants everyone to have a good time and will go out of her way to ensure that. She is easily excited by things that grab her interest and tends to overexaggerate most everything just for the fun of it. She is likely to make snap judgements and not fully think through what she's doing before she does it. Doesn't really matter the situation she will jump in guns blazing.
She's highly competitive, ambitious, and determined to win at almost any cost. Her usual strategy of winning a battle is to overwhelm with sheer force rather than go in depth into any tactics. She does know her type match ups though and uses that to compensate for the fact that very few of her Pokémon have anything but attack moves. This does occasionally translate out of the gym and she will throw punches at someone who pisses her off enough.
There is a more calm side that comes out on the rare occasion, mostly when she's drawing or doing more meditative training. She does pride herself in her creativity with most things though she doesn't take criticism on her work very well. Once she has made her mind up about something it isn't likely to change even if someone in a higher position than her tells her so. In fact that usually makes her stick to her stance harder than before.
Short Biography: Originally Sloan was born in Hammerlocke and grew up alongside her brother Adam. For the first few years of life she grew up pretty textbook until her mother passed away. Since that point she was raised by her father who was busy with his work alongside an up and coming Pokémon professor. While it did make him busy she had her brother to hang out with and once she got older her father started taking the both of them with him all over Galar to watch battles.
It was that that sparked her love of battling. Even if she was too young to get her first Pokémon she begged her father to let her join a martial arts dojo. The man was more than willing to do whatever his children wanted most of the time so he easily acquiesced. She enjoyed the physical fights and grew to love the fighting type Pokémon that many of the members at the dojo had.
Once she was old enough she got her first Pokémon, a Torchic that was a gift from her father. She thought about joining the gym challenge right away, but instead she elected to join her father in his travels all over the world learning about Pokémon. She built her team as she went and by the time she made it back to Galar she was able to join the gym challenge and easily make her way through. She was upset about losing the Champion's Cup, more so than she really cared to admit, but she held her head high just the same.
She popped back into the dojo she trained in as a child for a bit, training both herself and her team. One or two more runs at the gym challenge told her she wasn't likely to ever beat the champion, but it gave her enough of a foothold to join the minor leagues. She'd get to the top one way or another, though she still spends a great deal of her free time at the dojo training.

LEAGUE PROFILE
Type Specialty: Fighting
League Ranking: Minor
League Placement: 5th
Gym Location: Circhester
Gym Description: Martial Arts Studio: Meet a trainer who gives the challenger a series of marital arts poses that they have to remember and copy. If they do it successfully then they can move on without a fight, if not then they have to battle the trainer to move to the next part of the gym. The sequences get more complicated as they go on until they get to Sloan.
POKEMON
[Meditite (Minerva)]: Being first on the league team is really the only reason that Minerva listens to anything that Sloan wants her to do. She isn't so much obstinate as prefers to use her psychic abilities to move things around the gym, or put up screens in doorways for people to run into. She is good on the field though which is why she hasn't been benched. Blue on her body is a dark shade, almost navy.
[Hawlucha (Rikuo)]: Rikuo is almost just as bad as Minerva when it comes to causing problems around the gym, but he is more likely to listen. He'll knock off whatever he's doing with a stern look or threat to take him off the team. Fighting is what he loves and the risk of losing that can have him jumping through almost any hoop. Looks like a regular Hawlucha.
[Lucario (Suzuki)]: If given the opportunity Suzuki would be the first to sprint out onto the field. She doesn't think much about strategy and prefers to hit as hard as she can, much like her trainer. This has, unsurprisingly, led to a number of losses during training but it doesn't stop her. The spikes on her chest and backs of her hands are slightly longer.
[G-MAX Grapploct (Casal)]: Casal is never afraid to take any kind of hit, or afraid of anything really. He could be up against the most difficult match and he'd still puff up and give it everything he's got. He is the most level of the league team and does a great job managing everyone. Mostly since he can just grab all of them at once. Looks like a normal Grapploct.
[Heracross (Ossa)]: Ossa is usually the first out on the field and makes her presence known without fail. She loves the attention that the crowds give and relishes in every single bit of praise she can squeeze out of Sloan. She is stubborn as a Tauros though and refuses to back down from anything, even a bad match up. She is a slightly lighter shade of blue than most Heracross.
[Mega-Blaziken (Adiva)]: The daughter of Sloan's original starter, Adiva knows she has the ability to get away with pretty much anything. She uses this fully to her advantage and causes trouble around the gym, or in public if she gets the chance. The fact that she inherited her predecessors mega stone does not help matters. A darker shade of orange than usual that creeps further down her legs, cutting off some of the yellow.
[Gallade (Rokon)]: Rokon is often the voice of reason among the team. He is constantly keeping Ossa and Adiva from causing problems, as much as he can, and is much more tactical than his trainer. Oftentimes he can make a calculated decision before Sloan even has a second to think about what that might be. Looks like a normal Gallade.
[Toxicroak (Della)]: Ossa's partner in crime most of the time. Just as stubborn and bull-headed as the Heracross she pushes both of them to their breaking points in training. Rokon, or even Sloan, often has to force the Della to stop training and take a break before she runs herself into the ground. This does give her a stiff determination in her battles to never give up. More on the purple side color wise than blue.
[Kommo-o (Killinger)]: The other voice of reason on the team, though more on the serious side of things. Killinger is one of the older Pokémon on the team and serves as close to a team leader as they have. He doesn't take kindly to the pranks pulled by Adiva or the constant stubbornness of Ossa or Della. Thankfully most of the team respects him if he tells them to stop. Larger than usual.
[G-MAX Sirfetch'd (Greeves)]: One would think that the knightly stance of Greeves would indicate some amount of class. Unfortunately it is very much a mask and the Sirfetch'd is almost as bad as Adiva when it comes to causing trouble. Though his pranks are less harmful to their public standing and usually involve trying to trip Sloan with his leek. Looks like a normal Sirfetch'd.
[Poliwrath (Frera)]: Thankfully not nearly as bad as Greeves or Adiva when it comes to causing trouble, but Frera has her own brand of sly irritants. Mostly making the floor wet in inconvenient places. She is most of the morale boost on the team though and will pick anyone up when they are feeling rough after a loss or bad fight. Has a tighter spiral on her chest.
[Machamp (Hercules)]: One of the original members of Sloan's team and one of her favorites. He isn't on her main team anymore mostly due to age, but he still gets his hits in whenever he gets the chance. Hercules lives up to his name and puts on a big show whenever he is brought out onto the pitch and is the first to throw himself into a dangerous attack. Slightly darker shade of gray and absolutely massive arms.
[Breloom (Aprilla)]: Aprilla is one of the more laid back members of the team. Which is to be expected given she's a grass type. She is more than content to sit on the side and bask in the sun, but that isn't to say she doesn't like to fight. When given the opportunity she will throw herself full force into any battle she can find. The mushroom cap on her head is slightly larger than average.
[Amped Toxtricity (Acabion)]: One of the old members of her original team, and one of the only ones that isn't a fighting type. She picked up a Toxel from someone she met on the road and couldn't not keep it on her team. Now Sloan just lets him hang out and she tries to beat him at video games. It doesn't usually go very well. The electric mohawk is a brighter shade of yellow.
[Torracat (Nimbus)]: Not even considered a possible fighter, Nimbus is much too lazy to want to do anything more than sleep. Sloan picked her up on a visit to Alola with her father and eventually she just kind of took over the house. She is a good companion when Sloan is home though and the just needs to unwind with a warm, furry friend. Has more black than red on her fur.
RELATIONS
Hestia-Great competition. Can’t blame her for being a little bit harsh, can’t say I’m jealous of the pressure she must be under, but I'd like to beat her some day.
Astrid-Can appreciate her sticking to her persona, even outside gym battles. Definitely need to hit her up for some video game competitions in the off season.
Fiona-She’s always a riot to be around. Just remind me not to try to outdrink her at any of the gym leader’s get-togethers.
Sawyer-Need to ask him to spar with me and the team at some point, seems like that’d be fun. Oh, and see if he’d let me get a look at his tattoos.
Bianca-Really sweet and a great gym partner. I try to catch all her battles, when people manage to get to her, if only because it’s hilarious to watch the challengers slip on the rink.
Sebastien-Never tried boxing, just learned different forms of martial arts, but it seems fun to learn. Maybe I can get him to loosen up a bit in the process.
Isaiah-Can’t say I’d have the patience to go to medical school so kudos to him for that. At least I know I can go somewhere if I get into an accident at the gym, or elsewhere.
Iris-Kinda intimidated by her to be honest, but mostly just because I can’t punch ghosts (well my team can’t). She seems pretty cool though.
Nordrin-Can’t deny that the guy is a great chef and battler, but someone needs to pull the stick out of his ass.
Mika-His research reminds me a bit of what I used to do with my dad. Should definitely talk to him about that some time.
Allen-We have far too many tall, serious people in the gym challenge, but I can tell there’s a spark in there somewhere.
Basil-Mysterious dude, needs to loosen up a little bit and try to have some fun, or at least make some friends. Gotta admire the garden though.
Inigo-His persona is a little bit over the top sometimes, but I can’t say I blame him. Be nice to get to know the guy behind the brand though.
You think you can take down my fighting types? Ha! That's funny.

[The team your character uses to face off against Gym Challenge contestants. If they are placed lower, their team will be weaker, and vice versa. Again, don't worry about this for the moment as it will be decided when people are accepted.
Make sure to describe your Pokemon's name, appearance, and personality as you create your teams.]
[Pokemon #1]:
[Pokemon #2]:
[Pokemon #3]: ...
A few things about me:
My name is Fox, I've been doing RP for about 11 years and playing/running TRPGs for going on 6 years.
