Bio

I'm Randomness. I also go by others names when it's unavailable, but those are usually some variation of Randomness or Random in general.

I like anime, video games, and science. I'm currently in school studying to become an radiologic technologist. I'm in the initial stages, so I'm on my way. My favorite anime is Eureka Seven, and my favorite video game is a tie between Kingdom Hearts and Etrian Odyssey.

I have several story ideas, but currently lack motivation to write them out. I have plenty of notes for some of them so when I finally get around I'm prepared. That said, I absolutely enjoy group story telling like you do through role playing. One of my interests involved is world building and the connections between them if any.

One of my characters travels between worlds, dimensions and universes. What these are meant to be are different RPs. There seems to be some taboo around such a character, but I feel that is should be judged on a case by case basis. The idea of a seasoned character who has been on many adventures being able to share stories in passing sounds like a fun idea. I thought it would be an interesting idea that those stories could be from other RPs. He isn't meant to highjack the current RP, or be over powered. I admit, I can see that concern. Really though, he is meant to be an eccentric character with stories and treasures not before seen. The effects of these stories are meant to be entertaining, like fairy tales to the current cast. And what treasures he has or can use I'd restrict to what makes sense in the current world. But like I said before, it should be case by case. A learner, and a story teller. I think it's fun to link concept together through this character so the story could live on in new ways and perhaps give new RPs a different kind of character. Without upending everything of course.

Nice, it looks like we have started finding a groove to combat this thing. That powered armor and its ability to wrestle with it harmlessly has helped turn the tables in your favor.
@Schizoid Writer Alright, I just don't want to leave you behind.

Speaking of which, I don't want to leave @Duthguy, or @Doc Doctor behind either.
In what felt like an instant uninterrupted advance, its prey stood just before it almost helpless to defend herself. As it came close, the fiendish spider raised its two front legs and slammed them down at either side of De’Kae blocking most of the directions in which she could run. She then took a swipe at her using her long black claws and again. For those few second, De’Kae was subject to relentless attempts to strike her with those blade-like nails. Small droplets of acid also flew from its arms that were the remnants of Ariamis’s spray from earlier.

Before the hell spawn could swing again, it was struck by an arrow, digging into its shoulder. The creature gave pause to the attack when it was struck by another. The feathers at the ends of each arrow were all that could be seen through the creature’s long hair, but it was clear they had stuck into its flesh. Hissing, the creature turned its body slightly as more arrows began to strike. The spines that covered its legs and body deflected the majority of them, and it exoskeleton helped minimize the arrows that got through except for the few that pierced the softer body that sprouted from the spider’s head.

With one back handed swipe, the creature swatted De’Kae away ready to charge the direction the arrows were flying when the loud thumping of metal upon stone echoed closer. It wasn’t long after when the creature’s face was plowed into by the large metal man. As it continued to run, the creature was raised slightly off the ground, its rear legs dragging. Even though it stood over the machine by a hair, the spider was not able to stop its momentum. Screeching, the spider clawed at the suit of mechanical armor, unable to do much more than a scratch again the thick steel. Finally, the creature began to spit a web. It was a crude web, but it was one that could tie the armor’s legs together.

The extra resistance provided by the webbing was enough to slow the power armor enough for the creature to regain control of its legs. It started to climb around the suit, so it was no longer at its front. It was attempting the damage the armor using the sword like spines on its legs while also looking for a soft spot to attack. Crawling around so that the spider was at the armor’s back, it stabbed at the suit using its fangs. The thud of the impact echoed the chamber, but the most damage it was able to do were two small indents. The black venom the creature secreted did arguable more damage, leaving thin trails of corroded metal as the venom steams towards the ground. The stiff impact against the armor caused the spider to reel away in pain.

Defeated in the attempt to damage the suit, the spider decided it best to incapacitate it. It attempted to weave a cocoon around the armor. With enough layers, the webbing would be tough enough to prevent the suit from moving unless they were burned, or cut. Of course, the machine would also be free if it struggled enough, or aid had come to draw the spider away.

I should mention the webs have to support the massive spider’s body, so while the threads are not much thicker than a normal spider’s they have some impressive tensile strength.
Sounds good. Hopefully Saria can join as well before the update. I have a feeling both she and Ariamis don’t like the positions they ended up in.
Ah finals. I finished this week as well. Feels good to relax a little before the next semester.
Staring at the three before it, the spider had what looked to be easy targets. One of the men was finishing handling the metal armor while the woman who climbed atop it was already greatly injured prior. The last of the three was helping the woman onto the machine. None of them were in a position to put up their guard before the fiendish spider could come down on them. Charging forward with great speed, the spider stopped short of crashing into yet another barrier materialized from thin air. It used its forward legs to push off the wall before it could crash into it. It was certain now that these nuisances were cast from the leaf covered elf. Not to be deterred by the barrier again, the demon attempted to climb over it only for the barrier to increase in height to hinder its progress.

By now, the metal man had disappeared somewhere away from the three, leaving only two before it. One of them took to the front, standing his ground leading the defense. Using hose-like attachments, this being sprayed a shower of acid over the protective barrier, covering the fiend with sickly green fluid. The spider hissed clawing at the acidic rain in an ill attempt to stop it. Yet despite these actions, it seemed to be in no pain. The webs that covered its body started to burn away, but its flesh, hair, and spines seemed free of harm. Not only that, but the creature’s mannerisms didn’t seem to be that of pain, rather of annoyance.

After swiping a few more times at the shower, it raised its forward legs, rested them on the barriers, and using its two large fangs positions below her torso at the spider head, pierced the barrier. Injecting the barrier with a black liquid, it immediately started to melt away as if it were a physical object ceasing to exist as the poison spread. When the barrier gave way, the spider fell forward once again standing on all eight legs towering before the dwarf. With a screech, the spider opened its mouth and fired another netted web at the mechanical dwarf, knocking him back several meters and pinning him to the ground. Any exposed flesh the webs had contact with started to feel numb immediately. Unlike with Katelin, however, the spider turned its attention away from the easy prey and focused on De’kae.

While the majority of combatants were either by the fire or making their way to further combat with the demonic spider, it would be able to bear down on De’kae before they could arrive. Even when her eyes were covered by the creature’s long black hair, it gave a piercing glare that could send chills up almost anyone’s spine. It began to charge towards the elf with intent to kill her brutally. Even if she could cast a barrier, the spider would use her speed to climb over it rather than stop this time.
@silvermist1116 Ha! Please copy the monster. That would be hilarious. 😛

Question that I didn’t think to mention. How long do the copies last?
@silvermist1116 I wonder how Esperanta can even aim when she is plastered like that.
Apologies for the delay. I was hoping that LogantheCat would have a reaction, but it looks like we'll have to wait a little bit longer for it. For now, this is how the spider reacted to everyone's assault.
