When Miley Cyrus is naked and licks a hammer it's "art" and "music"... but when I do it, I'm "wasted" and "have to leave Home Depot".

My girlfriend is always stealing my t-shirts and sweaters... But if I take one of her dresses, suddenly "we need to talk".

My ex girlfriend had this really weird fetish. She used to like to dress up like herself, and act like a fucking bitch all the time.

Bio

I love writing when I have the time and motivation for it. My posting frequency is generally one or two times a week on average. Supernatural, Horror and Fantasy are usually the genres I hang around most, but I'm not afraid to experiment with something new. I've made a lot great friends here, many of whom I met when creating the Red Hood universe, and am always looking forward to making more.

I tend to be a little raunchy and crude at times but if you can handle that, you'll have a heck of an RP buddy in me!

The Red Hoods: Rebirth
The Red Hoods: Initiates
The Red Hoods: Genesis
Red Dead Reckoning
X-Men: Avalon Rising
X-Men: The New Era
Cold Front: Tacitum

I'll wait for tomorrow to give a proper 24 hour notice so it doesn't seem like I'm overposting.

By the way, according to the Discord, BenG85 (Colm), has had to leave the RP due to scheduling issues.
Tempted to make a post tonight. Would anyone like me to wait?
I struggled for a second with figuring out why my character should be alerted to the attack. Just went with the "Saw it in progress" approach. For King J, Omega mentioned the distress call was going out to all former and current allies. Maybe your boy has an old communication device that finally pinged and he goes claws out, ready to take on Skeletor's underlings just as his father did, like a debt to an ancestor to carry on the fight.

Just wanted to mention that your last posts where more than a week ago ;)

It's been over 2 weeks since you posted, homie. I understand life throws some curve balls, but is this still a project you can keep up with or is the offline world preventing it from happening?

No hard feelings, either way. We're just at the point where players are having to create Happenings (sincere Thanks to @Liv!) in a game I assumed was mostly reactionary to the GM and I'm not sure if that's how this game was intended to progress or if this was just a temporary, atypical slump that is nearing its end where the GM takes the reigns again or if we need to start focusing on our own additive content. Hope this inquiry is taken with the best of intentions; Just trying to gauge the near future and how this game works.

He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His hands stood still, wrapped around the neck of his mystical lute as he sat atop a boulder. Moments before, he had been strumming along, enjoying a small rest in his travels. Now, however, he found himself staring at a terror in the sky being piloted by an even worse fiend.

"Is that... Masque?" He squinted as he peered toward the villain, trying to be sure. Ryker, the RiffMaster, had never met the nefarious rogue personally, but Masque's reputation was quite infamous.

"Hoo, boy. This isn't good." He pushed himself to his feet. "That looks like a charge, which means there's bound to be more of them." Just as he said it, he could hear the serpentine movements of Masque's minions in the distance as they made their way through the ground terrain. Their target was easy enough to determine; they were headed straight for the palace walls. Ryker took in a deep breath, wound his arm around like a propeller to get it loose, and finally exhaled. It was that time again. He squeezed his knuckles into his hands and let each digit pop in rapid succession before slinging his strapped lute toward his back, digging his foot into the dirt and sprinting off in pursuit of the shadow serpents and the palace itself.

"Hello again! I'm Christina," said the young woman as she took her firing spot. Jack kept his gun trained on the shambling dead, but his eyes fell upon his new associate.

"Why hello there, Christina," he said in a comical tone. "What's a pretty girl like you doing in a world of hell like this?" He squeezed the trigger as his thumb simultaneously pulled on his gun's hammer. With loud bang, his bullet took flight out of the window and passed the head of a living corpse that looked like its skin was hanging on by scarce tendons, before it finally found its home in the eyesocket of an old, dirty man who looked like he hadn't had a morsel of food in nearly a decade. He looked back to Christina. "It's Jack," he eventually offered with a wink.

Just then he heard a grunt from just outside the saloon. Jack craned his head around to look passed the swinging double-doors over to the mysterious man who was kneeling on the dirt road, nearly at the saloon's entrance. Before Jack could react, it appeared that Kira was jumping into action after him. From what he had seen so far, it looked like Kira could handle herself.

"You ever seen anything like this, Christina?" he asked before looking out the window once more and taking aim. "Gotta be some kind of sickness or something," he hypothesized. "I mean, this can't really be The Devil coming to town, can it?" Jack spotted his next target and let his hammer fall once more. The bullet shot out faster than its sound, cleaving the hot air in twain before landing... in an empty barrel about two feet off from the ghoul for which it was intended. Whoops.
Quick questions about vampires:

Does the general population know that vampires are among them?

If so, how do they feel about that (do they hate them, begrudgingly live with them, hunt them down, flee in fear?)
If not, do vampires have very obvious supernatural characteristics that would make them stand out as a species or do they pretty easily pass for humans if you don't know what to look for?

I'm just trying to figure out how Jack (or anyone) should react when they see something vampirey happen.

UPDATE:

@RedXIII [Jack] id say that vampires are not common knowledge. Dracula hasn't even been published yet

"Anyone wanna tag along?" Mikaela offered. "Maybe we can find something valuable so this little excursion isn't a total waste." Xander forced his head to move. He wanted nothing more than to look at anything other than visages of clowns.

"Y-yeah, sure," he answered from the hallway, slightly unnerved. Strength in numbers, right? His thought seemed convincing enough as he made his way over to the living room. Once there, he looked on as Adele inspected the creepy looking dolls on the ground before she left for the next room over. His eyes drifted back to the dolls once more. "This place is so freaking weird, man," he stated, speaking toward Mikaela. "I'm pretty sure if we find something of value, that thing is probably gonna be cursed. Like, you're going to find a badass looking brush or something and then you're going to take it home and wake up the next day covered in hair looking like a yeti." A small smirk grew in the corner of Xander's mouth as he imagined it.

"Oh! What if we find a sword? Isn't it weird how swords are universally considered cool but dudes with swords are like automatically fucking weird? It's like the only situation where that happens and-" Xander's musing was cut abruptly short by the sound of a door slamming in the distance.

"Let me out! Please, this isn't funny!" came the muffled cry.

"Huh," Xander huffed before looking at Mikaela and then back toward the sound of Liv's voice. "And so it begins."
