@Azure Flame I understand this. But I suppose I guessed something as trivial as a race would be okay. Is this really that big of deal that it needs a "talking to"?
@Azure Flame I know but the way I see it, U.A. is a huge school. There's no way we would have a class of heroes with only five or six people in it. I'm using an NPC mainly because everyone else was taken. My fault for not being on yesterday. But I imagine theirs a boatload of students in the class. Of course the RP is centered around us but NPCS should dot the school as well.

EDIT: Is it still confusing, even with the introduction of the NPC.

Meruem stepped up to the starting line, severity replacing the humor-filled gleam in his eyes. When it came time to use his Quirk, he could never be too careful. There was no margin for error. He quite literally could not avert his gaze from his goal. If he did, he could end up crushing some unknowing pedestrian. He didn't want that, not even a smidgen of him wanted another accident to haunt him.

A calming sigh left him and once his heartbeat had slowed to serenity he gave the sports hall a look around. Behind him, though far off, was a fence of multi-layer steeled walls. U.A's security measures were most likely a double clause product. On one hand they wanted to keep the public and villains out, on the other, they had to protect the public from their dangerous students as well. Good, Meruem thought to himself. That'll come in handy, now I won't have to hold back.

"N-No harsh feelings, a voice beside uttered. The boy was a sturdy youth, average in all its glory with a pointed chin and too-narrow eyes. Massive, alien-looking boosters protruded high from his back. "It was just a bad matchup. I genuinely feel bad for showing you up. You made that huge speech and everything. God... Man I'm such a jerk."

The guy looked guilty but prepared. Meruem only shook his head. "Don't be. Cause I don't plan on losing to ya. The power of gravity is out of this world.

Taken back, the boy only smiled and got into ready position, Meruem followed his lead, head low and eyes pinned on the steel walls behind him. The moment Mister Walker had called "Go!", Meruem had felt the heat of the boy's engines ignite. They sent him flying towards the finish line.

His own eyes went black, a trail of dark energy sizzling from the sides. Adrenaline surged throughout as he twisted the laws of gravity and reflected its underlining rules towards himself. He felt his perception of the world turn, and before he knew it he was shooting down the track, as if falling through the air.

3 Seconds Later

It became apparent that he'd lose two seconds later. The boy's engine was just too powerful and the application of his Quirk hadn't been quite right. While it had left part of the steel wall levitating from its lack of gravity, he had only recently started to gain ground on the youth. Quickly he contemplated his options. He hadn't want to reveal too much of his Quirk at once but the guy hadn't left him much choice.

Tsk!

The blackness of his eyes faded as he released his hold on the wall, sending it massive pieces thundering to the ground. Then just as quick they were obscured with ink again, his gaze now on the boy. The boy's engines burned and yet he was slowing considerably instead of zooming across the finish line. Mere feet from the goal, he looked bewildered, shock taking hold of those sharp eyes. While that occupied him, Meruem went with the momentum of his inverted fall, hit the ground hard, rolled back onto his feet swiftly, and darted towards the finish line.

Problem was, the moment he had passed the boy, his laws of stasis had ended. In no time the boy realize this and ingite his engines again, Meruem knew there was only one thing to do. So he looked upon Haley, his only rival so far, and like an entity of gum contracted the forces between them; slinging him towards her. It was all so exhilarating, using his Quirk, showing up his competitor, and now, being pulled towards Haley at speeds that would surely have her being pulled towards him. He smiled so widely, laughing all the while as he cross the finish line moments before the jet-engine boy.

His eyes fade back to their lapis blue once he released his Quirk. He skidded across the earth once, his heels deep into the earth, then he hopped up from the force, and anchored himself into a run that had slowed to a steady gait. He stopped near Haley and patted her on the shoulder once. "Thanks! I would've lost without you."

Meruem turned from her, looking expectedly at Mister Walker for the results of his race. Surely the Ghost-Hero had seen his long-shot victory. It was only then that he realized the mess he had enacted on the steel wall behind them. He rubbed his neck with a "I didn't do it" expression on his face before smiling, admitting the fault of his destructive Quirk.

Meruem Kiryu

Meruem pulled his t-shirt from his body. He was all edges and shallow lines, a fit young man who was dedicated to his physical health. It came off and halted near his elbows as he faintly heard one of the other students; Augustus he believed his name was. He chuckled to lightned the severity of his words. "That's so not brave man. You should at least be man enough to ask directly, y'know?
"
He fitted the gym clothes over his frame. The track suit appealed to his simple tastes. "Besides, if you don't start focusing now, you'll never get your name in my book."

He strode onto the field with those nameless faces and few notable students that weren't as mundane. His elbow was stretched far across his chest, that same fiery gleam in his eyes. "I won't fail. Whatever it may be," he muttered to himself.

Old Abandoned Hospital, Nueva York.

Nayden had felt off since they had arrived. The hospital had been chosen specifically for its strategic advantages. That room, simple as it seemed, was just big enough for The Boss to accommodate his best while offering an alternative route for escape should things go south. Not that any of that would be necessary. The Sword, as they liked to call Nayden in the gang, was confident that these new thugs were just as doltish as any. They would be easy to put down should the need arise.

The Boss had found conversation with his Second, both speaking of the possibilities. Nayden, garbed his white attire and black suit jacket, leaned casually on the chrome counter; a physical boundary separating them and the newest arrival. The moment the door open, his head perked up and his sharp eyes slid to bulky man. Five armed men stood from their seats as well, all garbed in respectable suits.

All those muscles and he still doesn't measure up to me. He's just another meat-head.

The Boss stepped ahead of The Second, nearly as tall but hardly the powerful presence that Patrick was. He scratched his groomed beard, touching the scar that framed the right side of his face. "Welcome," greeted the elder. "Jesse, Sword, introduce yourselves. Afterwards we may begin with this... this meeting."

The Second stepped up. "Nice to meet you."

Nayden, eyes still fixated on the bulky man, kept quiet for a moment. "... Hello."
@rocketrobie2 Dope. I'm up now so I'll get a post out before the morning
@rocketrobie2 Yea, I'm down. My day is pretty hectic today so I might be on here sparingly.

Meruem Kiryu

The voice had bounced off all the walls, hollow, deep echoes fluttering about. So much so, that Meruem had looked around to find its source. When nothing came from his searches, he relied on the dark hunch that assailed him and eyed the see-through Ghost-Hero: Wraith that appeared from the podium. Immediately he snatched out his black book from his bag, flipped through the papers and landed on a page near the beginning. The teacher's name was there; unblemished. Wraith the Ghost Hero.

A fiery gleam bloomed in his gaze, though a confident grin was its stark contrast beneath it. This is such a gift! My life is a brave new world, he mused.

While he considered his luck, a paper had found its place on his desk. The question: What is A Hero? was written on the sheet, along with a line for his name and the date. Meruem paid it little mind as he rose up, his hands firmly on the desk. He realized his exuberance and straightened his posture. A thumb was pointed towards himself while a brash smirk was towards the teacher. "I'm Meruem Kiryu, Teach. My quirk is called: IM Gravity. Basically anything in my sights is bound by my laws of gravity. Not the world's. I love the thought of being the strongest hero and will one day become the symbol of peace. Alternatively, I really love the hero: Uravity,

His voice and face softened to a degree. "She's precious to me and anyone who speaks ill of her is so uncool." He slid back down into the seat and was suddenly looking at the ceiling with an airy expression.

Meruem Kiryu - @LeamonZest89

Hardly anyone had offered him their name. Only one brave girl and that little courtesy was enough for Meruem to take an interest in her. He chuckled playfully before performing his signature movement; a loud SNAP! of his fingers echoed, his left hand was pointed in Haley's direction. "Now that's brave, Haley. I hope to meet you on that bold path one day."

His attention was soon elsewhere, wholly ignorant of those that refused his request. Not that he resented them. No, he was used to being ignored by others. The chaos that was his brilliant-self took time to get use to. Even he recognized that. The brave youth reached into his bag and pulled out a hand-sized notebook. Within those pages were the names of heroes, people, and villains alike; some struck through with a deep red line. Right beneath the last name he had written inside it, some villain who had caused a ruckus overseas, he scribbled what he believed would be Haley's name: Hailey of UA.

He snapped it closed before settling it back into his bag. Just one more person to leap over.

Now he impatiently waited for class to start. He slouched back into his chair, fidgeted with his orange headband a tad, then begin twiddling his fingers; playing with their roughened conditioned with that courageous gleam in his eyes.

Meruem Kiryu

Meruem went largely unnoticed by the crowd, dipping and pushing through them as he carelessly sauntered to class. Toasted bread rested stiff in his mouth, his eyes boldly on the UA institution in front of him. As he passed by the massive gates, admiring the reflective surface of the mostly glass building, he couldn't help thinking that he had finally taken that first step.

Its' here, he thought, snapping a corner of the toast off and chewing it. Where my brave journey begins.

With a chuckle he gave in to his enthusiasm and started racing into the school. By the time he had reached the door to his classroom he had felt both exhilarated and nervous. The last time he was in a public school had been wrought with stigma... A stigma that had to be clean thoroughly. Sure he could do it again and if it came down to it, he most likely would, but it was nowhere near enjoyable.

Habitually, Meruem inhaled deeply before letting it slide out. He squeezed his buttocks and slid open the door with enough force to created a thudding echo. The next moment the youth strode inside with an incorrigible glint in his eyes. He lifted his hand face-height, greeting the crowd with a smile, and said, "Ah man, isn't it great to be brave today?! This is just the beginning for us future heroes y'know. Introductions are usually saved for teacher, right? That difficult for me, since its a rule of mines to greet those I'm gonna surpass the moment I meet them." That challenge hung in the air while he found a seat near the back.

"So, its nice to meetchu guys. I'm Meruem Kiryu. Won't you guys tell me your names too?"
