Name: Yon-Ging Nerrve
Age: 18
Gender: Male

Appearance: Yon-Ging is a brown hair, ebon-skinned youth with charming, cool features. His eyes are calm and sharp, often apathetic if not bored. He is a slender man of average height, around 5'9" or 5'10". Among the other juniors of his Academy, he ranks first on the list of the female populace. Ask any of them why and the overwhelming response would be his liquid gold eyes. His unorthodox attire only feeds the impression that he's rebellious. Despite all of this, he has a network of close friends that blames his inability to stand out on the dragon tattoo on his right-arm.

Weapon of Choice: Katana & Gun

Personality: Despite the cold nature he exudes, Yon-Ging cares meticulously for his loved ones. One or two worded response often carry the deepest meaning with him. Whether that be "What happened?" or "Need a shoulder?" its usually enough. He strides around with a strange confidence, his gait; alien, his calm; magnetic. When in reality, this perception is only his inability to create lasting bonds. He stays away from most people because of his distrust. He fears the darkness, yet finds comfort in the night silence. Yon-Ging despises illogical impulses but recognizes his own and simply shrugs his shoulders. All of this is tacked on by a craving for change, a desire for freedom and acceptance, and yet a reluctance to experience the unknown.

Backstory: Yon-Ging is the illegitimate son of a master-less bodyguard. Renowned throughout the worlds for his skills, steep pricing, bounty, and otherwise incredulous actions, Gon-Yang, is considered a myth by some. There was a time after his birth where Yon-Ging was sought after by several important organizations, before long however, they slowly dwindled to minor incidents here and there. As a youth he was drawn to the mysterious, Oniyen Nosofath. This scholar of sorts had dedicated his life to the study of light and darkness. Yon-Ging and this man often spoke of the subject, delving into the political, symbolic, and unnerving meanings behind it. Eventually Yon-Ging did meet his father, that entire year was a dark blur only meant to teach him ways of protecting himself. Gon-Ying called it "Fulfilling my duty." Life after that has been particularly mundane.

I'm going to back out of this RP. Sorry for the waste of time. I'm just not motivated for this.

Meruem Kiryu

Meruem beamed at her. It was the kind of smile that he rarely did, wide and joyful. It wasn't a no and that always left hope. "Cool. I'll check up on you after the exams."

Then he turned his attention back to the exams once more, finally done with her... for now. He stood up now, striding even further from them. For whatever reason he felt the need to separate himself from her. She made his stomach churn, made him nervous in a way that he wasn't use too. It was bothersome but warm too. It felt as if he was riding on a cloud, free from the earth but still weighed down by gravity.

Meruem Kiryu

How simple was that? getting everything off his chest, as always, was extremely liberating. As she parted with him, he thought about just how brave she was. Without any word on his part, she stepped up and begun to right the wrong that was essentially himself.
Yea, he thought, squatting back down and looking on at the test again. That's why she's my rival. She's definitely strong.

Then he deliberated something to himself.

"Haley!" he shouted aloud, obviously anchored to the ground and not looking to move. "Let's eat lunch together."

Meruem Kiryu - @LeamonZest89

Out the corner of his eye he noticed Haley walking over. Her stride was casual and implied the strength of a health-nut, which in turn garnered his attention even more. As she stood next to him, he found her eyes by craning his neck up at her. The fire in his blue orbs had turned shy and kind of confused. The answer she was looking for was there, cleverly hidden by a brash and near naive pout.

A part of him had felt lectured. Honestly, he probably deserved it; cause at the time he hadn't realized the disrespect he had showed to her. She was his rival. She was due better. He stood to look her in the eyes; he hadn't realized how kind they were till then."I didn't hold back on purpose ya know? His hands fell into his pockets. "Wraith caught me off guard is all."

"... I mean, you did too but he messed everything up. You're strong, Haley. What I did to you was nothing compared to what I could've done. Everyone's bent themselves out of shape over this, so now I'm feeling all screwy too, y'know?" he admitted, dipping his head to the side as the guilt returned. "Forgive me, Haley."

Meruem Kiryu

A moment of fear and shrill disappointment had ran through Meruem. Was the display of his Quirk really that bad? it had to be for Wraith to show such displeasure. While reluctant, he found the gall to apologize to Haley and her band of shining knights. Even still, he just didn't get it. She was strong, why was everyone in such an uproar? perhaps they hadn't seen her the same way he had. She wasn't some damsel or regular girl... she was a hero in training just like the rest of them.

He rubbed his neck nervously and strolled off for the next exam. After Lucas, Meruem stepped up to the plate. He glanced over at Haley, his fascination with her renewed after their "situation". It took a second for him to decide to rid himself of her before returning to the event. This would be easy.

With his already defined muscles, he chucked the ball further than Lucas, then with a pinch of his Quirk, sent the ball really flying through the air. By the end of it all, he estimated it flew five hundred or so meters. He straightened himself, knowing that the results was but a smidgen of what he really could've done.

His recent chastisement had whipped his excitement, burdened the sunshine in his heart, and made it hard to think clearly. He focused his gaze on Haley, attempting to see through the haze that now fogged him.Tsk! again the sound came sharp and quick. Frustration tended to cause a scowl on his face. He squatted far off from the group as he observed the rest of the class' results.

The commotion behind him had suddenly begun to overshadow his own thoughts. Before he knew it, he was being pulled upwards by his collar. A tall, ginger-haired fellow with the lean frame of a swimmer was the culprit. Meruem, not so weak himself simply grabbed the man's wrist with a firm touch. "Oi, what's the issue?" he asked.

He looked pass the men and towards Haley; a roguish smile on his lips. "She not as fragile as you guys think. Her name is in my book so she's strong. That little pull was nothing for her. Even I can see that much and I'm airy as all outdoors. Now let me go, kay."
@manapool1And with that being said, I apologize for absentmindedly using one without your expressed permission.
@Azure Flame Ohh, guess I took your post too seriously too lol. Well yea, I can understand that. I spoke to him or her, not really sure, Mana didn't seem to mind it. Though, Mana said he'd be taking ownership of the NPC. So maybe he do mind.
