_{The Next Day}

Isamu had finished watching the Adam Roman video at his desk, his phone propped up by a slight stand. He leaned back in his seat, looking up at his ceiling. "Jeez, a Char-copy against a Char-copy. He's an A-Rank at that so he's gotta be tough. Wow. Still is King even going to respond?"

Isamu shook his thoughts of the video, there was other more important things he had to focus on. He turned his attention to his workshop, a better desk where all his Gunpla materials were. There was a new box sitting on the upper-shelf and below it was his G-Nexus. He had gotten the new Gunpla Kit after his training with Miyuki, he found some flaws and afterwards felt drawn to the hidden gem.

The Gundam Astaroth ... Something drew me to him but I can't bring myself to give up on the G-Nexus. Life is so complicated.

He stood up from his computer desk and strolled over to the standing G-Nexus. "I'll spruce'em up a little before heading into GBN. I wonder what they're up to?"

A message in response to Adam's challenge was sent to the European's inbox. In the video a male frame stared directly at the camera. King's hand reached out, gripping the upper-edge of camera's frame. "I accept your challenge, imposter. Defeating you will fly me far above your station and assure my title as Red Comet. Your Gunpla and status will make a suitable stepping stone."

He smiled. "A week. A week from now will be the day I end your career and reputation ... Oh and you mistake my position. The true number one in GBN is another. "

The video ended with his smile fading into a displeased grimace.

Yu Yu Hakusho - The New Agency

Plot Details |

• It's been 30 years since Yusuke Urameshi's last appearance in the anime.
• There will be 5 separate spots for Spirit Detective apprentices and 2 more for potential apprentices (not including my own).
• An older Yusuke Urameshi has developed an agency of apprentice Spirit Detectives under his tutelage.
• The Demon World is under the fledgling rule of Shura (Yomi's son).
• Under his rule a spike in demon activity in the human world has begun to appear
• Ultimately its up to us to discover and put a stop to these demonic interlopers.

OOC Details |

• You may play as a Human, Demon, Psychic, or Spirit (long as your character could benefit from the team dynamic)
• Eventually we will be operating out of the Demon World and making visits to Koenma in the Spirit World. (_{Ahh, diversity.})
• Your character can be awesome but allow room for a lot of growth. (C Class max.)
• We are all residences of the same city, either brought there by chance, moved there, or natives.
• If you wish to have some connection to one of the main cast there are a few rules (#1. You cannot force relations between two main-characters, pick one and be happy. #2 You will control that NPC and be expected to interact with me and the others regarding said NPC. Also your activity will need to be consistent. #3 Your history needs to be relative to their persona and past. Don't make Hiei some wonderful father figure or Kuwabara some elegant genius. Be true to the characters as we know 'em. #4 Yusuke is off-limits, I have plans for him and his family.)

• Follow the established rules of RoleplayerGuild.
• Remember, I asked for collaborators. I don't expect to run this thing entirely on my own, I encourage the usage of NPCs and coming to me to talk about ideas for the current Arc that you may have. • I will wait at most 3 days before moving on with the plot.

Spirit World

Spirit World (霊界, Reikai) is the place where human and demon souls go for judgment. Ruled by King Enma and to an extent his son, Koenma, Spirit World consists of various jobs and regulatory duties. If one wishes to know more, visit the link provided. Not much has changed for them in thirty years, they are the kind insistent on the status-quo.

Demon World

Demon World (魔界, Makai) was once a warring world, ruled by three kings. After the appearance of Yusuke Urameshi and the death of Toshin Raizen, a tournament stirred reformation. Yomi became it's true ruler and begin to set in stone very loose laws around combat. Demons are at their core unruly, and judgment by fighting seems to be an accord they all agree with. Very recently, Yomi was challenged by Shura for his throne. The King's lost ended up being his death. Under Shura's short tenure, the Demon World has amassed an army for plans unknown.

Human World

Human World (人間界, lit. Ningenkai) is where the humans resides. The object of the Demon and Spirit Worlds' intrigue. Not much has changed in the human world, besides the creation of the internet and mobile devices things have remained the same. A few spots will be detrimental to the plot, namely: Genkai Temple.

Important Terms |

Energy

Energy is the termed used for the aura, ki, or chi that the beings of the verse uses. There are several types, from Spirit Energy to Demonic Energy, to the exceedingly rare Sacred Energy. Before attempting to claim the right to any of these, visit the link and read the short descriptions provided. It should give a better understanding of the small nuances between them.

Kekkai Barrier

The Kekkai Barrier is the net-barrier erected by King Enma of the Spirit World. It guards the Human World from Demons Spirit Class A and above. Spirit Classes is the Spirit World's attempt at categorizing the various strengths of Demons, Humans, and Spirits. While rarely spoken about, the Kekkai Barrier is without a doubt the centerpiece of the realms.

Psychics

Psychics are individuals born with very specific rule-breaking powers. Powers like creating pocket dimensions or utilizing the shadow of their opponent(s) to cease their movements. Rare beings in the grand scheme of things, Psychics are incapable of utilizing spirit energy in the traditional sense, all of their latent potential goes into creating their unique powers (I will be judging these applicants harshly).

Meaning: Yuunmei (Destined Ghost) - Ikiryō (Living Spirit)

Species: Human
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Real Age: 15
Age Appearance: 15

History: As a child, Yuunmei lived a taxing life. His father was never fully in the picture, always having one-foot in and the other out. At the impressionable age of eight, Yuunmei's mother committed suicide after a lifelong battle with depression. That event left deep scars on the boy. Having no choice, Yuunmei's father took custody of him and tried hard to connect with the broken lad. Overtime it became apparent that his mind would always be elsewhere, always very, very, faraway.

Yuunmei became somewhat of a loner out of not wanting to lose anyone dear to him again. In order to do that he fostered a loathing of himself while disguising it as a hatred of others. It painted a large target on his back at school, which only enforced his solitary ideology. Despite his lack of sociability, Yuunmei does see the good in "hand-picked" individuals and has an almost ambiguous doctrine concerning friendships and acquaintanceships. At the school people tended to get hurt when around him, either by the scraps he would get in with the bullies, jocks, and unmentionables or the mysterious accidents that often echoed after them.

Funny enough, Yuunmei never seemed bothered by the physical beatings he received, he almost looked to embrace them with a quiet resignation. Recently, demons have begun to plague him because of his spiritual awareness.

Power and Techniques |

• Spirit Shroud - A hereditary trait passed down through the Ikiryō line. His spirit energy is especially fluid, it can range from a inch-width from his skin to a powerful force five-feet in circumference.
• Spirit Shroud Fist - Yuunmei focuses his spirit energy into his fist. Because of its natural fluidity and the ferocity of his intent, its appears like blue flames. At his current strength its only three times stronger than a normal punch. It could bend metal and shatter rocks. He can use this technique once a day.
• Spirit Shroud Boundary - He can sense physical attacks within his spirit shroud, allowing for heightened reflexes when faced with multiple enemies or weaponry. Only problem being that at his current level he is incapable of attacking with his spirit energy when using Spirit Shroud Boundary.
• Spirit Shroud Orb Shot - He punches within the bounds of his Spirit Shroud sending off baseball-sized spheres of energy towards his opponent. So far he is capable of sending off five of these without deteriorating his Spirit Shroud completely. They are considerably weaker than his Spirit Shroud Fist technique being about .5x stronger than his normal punch, feeling something akin to a hammer strike.

@Raging Fenrir I haven't decided who the spirit detectives will be yet. It would be unfair to do first come, first serve in this situation. I would still fill out a CS and drop it in the OOC for consideration when its made.

I'm thinking of make an exception for one or two side characters - might be fun to expand the cast a bit.

EDIT: I've added an area to the CS for Weapons.
